Great chippy with fantastic staff

Used to be good when it first opened with 1 shop. The management has changed. New manager is arrogant and does not give a damn about customers. Old manager was far better. When they mess up orders there is no accountability, just excuses. They make money but at the expense of your time!! They opened more branches and have bitten off more than they can chew. They have grown into an ugly monster and don't have the proper staff and skills to cope. Waiting 30 mins for a burger.. really?? My advice... either staff up, manage your shops properly with speedy service or close up. Scale back and do not take on more orders than you can handle. They now have 6 branches and are planning another 12 !!! Heaven spare us. The reason they are growing is people are happy to let service falter for the prize at the end. Having tasted it a few times yea it's ok i wouldn't say it is amazing though. Do not be fooled by fancy pictures and hype and glitzy new shops. Judge the food and service on its merits. The food may be nice for people but the wait times and service is abysmal. Prices are through the roof, totally mental. The problem is people seem to like their burgers so will happily queue up, wait ages and pay that price. The shops are very cramped especially when busy. Sometimes you cannot even open or close the door. Joke. The staff need to learn some manners and courtesy. It is not just about making money you know. For heavens sake smile and be courteous, and show some love and consideration to your customers. This may turn into a mini version of McDonalds but with heftier prices.... Not for me thanks.

Waited 25 mins for 2 fish and chip sizes really small ridiculous the photos a regular fish

Called in yesterday 19th Feb at 4.30pm, ordered chicken goujons and garlic dip. Took a while as they were being cooked from scratch but while I was waiting I could hear all this farting and spluttering which I now realise was the girl emptying all the ends of all the garlic dip bottles that had been sitting out all day into the dip I was getting with my meal. Ate the goujons on my way home, thought the dip was a bit runny, got home and threw my ring up just as I got through my front door. So thank you for that and for having to clean it up while being excruciatingly Ill was an added treat. 8 quid for 4 strips of chicken and not even a couple of chips is a rip off. Your staff need retraining but I'll never be back and I'll be letting people know my experience. Thank you for a wonderful experience in wasting money.

I ordered Americano, was asked if I want it black or white (never heard of white Americano, and it is not in their menu). Ordered black. Was given Americano with a milk anyways. Got upset. They replaced it but the whole experience was not pleasant. I don’t know what’s going on there.

Las papas fritas necesitan remojo en blanco y hacerlo correctamente. Los guisantes son ahora guisantes de discoteca y brillan en la oscuridad totalmente apagado poniendo y no atractivo. El rebozador pone rebozado en todas partes por lo que la parte trasera de la tienda y la nevera es desordenado y muy antihigiénico. El pez es ahora un mini mini pez. Y el curry está mal, pero la iluminación de la parrilla y el amén del personal amable 🙏 ps piensan 🤔 está bajo nueva gestión

Good quality home cooked type food. Portions of chips could be better for 1,50. Items get missed especially during busy times. Prices are not too bad. Parking is very limited with wardens hovering around like flies around poo.

We had a takeaway last week from them , food came very hot and so 😋 delicious also it arrived on time .The delivery guy was so nice, it was my first time ordering from them because I heard about how clean they are therefore I will always order from them.

Fantastic fishshop. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly. The staff are very friendly. There is car parking spaces available. I would highly recommend this fishshop.

Great food and service that’s even better

Popped in before the fireworks display which was also their last day open, had a look for chips shops with higher ratings on Google and this one poked out, luckily! Sat in, friendly service and the chips were amazing, 10/10!
