Been going here for at least 10 years, quality of the food is always amazing, consistency is top notch with both food and sauce, and the staff are always so friendly!

We had one of the best indian takeaway last everything was tasty and hot in heat, took photos of starter but forgot to take main meal because we where enjoying it so much

The food was amazing! Very light and fresh, would recommend!

Food was decent, got the doner kebab in a fresh naan, burger and a naga donner with chips. After an adventure packed day this was a real tasty way to end the night. Highly recommend the naga donner in fresh nan bread if chillies in your food is your go to

Decent grub. I don't go in, sit outside in the car. Missus says they are polite.

It just wasn't for me. Döner meat seasoning was overpowering and the very watery and very sweet yogurt mint sauce is such an unusual thing. Never tasted anything like that. Staff was very friendly, waiting time wasn't too bad either and the place looked really clean, but I'm afraid i won't go back.

Went here while on work visit, the quality is very good , the size of the tikka tandoori style chicken pieces are huge and the donner meat is very good on a fresh naan bread . Definitely recommend a visit

Hands down the best Donner kebab in north wales! Usually you find kebab shop Donner meat quite anaemic but not here. Shahin’s food is cooked perfectly for maximum taste and enjoyment. I will be returning to try the other menu items. I encourage you to do the same. Staff are welcoming and friendly. An all round great experience

Avoid this kebab at all costs unless you like a mouthful of oil. The chips were greasy and soggy the chicken kebab was freezing cold and the sauce that come with it was like water. Very disappointed!!!!

Returned to my homestead on a family visit. Still the best kebab I've had in any part of the UK. My 4 year old devoured the chicken, and still wanted more!!

Avoid this shop, food is not nice at all. Mixed grill is simply greasy Donna and rubber chicken. Chips really oily, soft and horrible. Donna is really greasy and but nice. We chucked most of the food away.

I don't know what these lads are doing to prepare chicken like they do but it's bloody amazingly tender. Served on one of the softest fluffiest nan breads I've ever had too. Put quite simply it's one of the best I've ever eaten in thirty years. 10/10

Friendly staff but food hit and miss

Chicken in nan - dreadful as per previous review. Few pieces of chicken which was tasteless and a desert spoon of just shredded lettuce which they describe as 'salad' ... I'd call that lettuce. Asked for hot chilly sauce to included in a small pot which may have gone some way to add some taste but none placed in the bag.Donner kebab - Same as previous review. dry and tasteless with a thick layer of fat which had somehow seeped through the pitta and had solidified on the bottom of the tray on top of the greaseproof paper which had to be peeled off the pitta. Salad used loosely to describe shredded lettuce so don't expect any cabbage tomatoes cucumbers or chillies.On the plus side, my daughter thought the Korma was good.Unfortunately, not much has changed on the kebab/chicken nan front since the last few reviews, hopefully Shahins will take note and make a few changes for the better.

Wow, what a stunning mixed kebab wow. Was so shocked on this place as wasnt ready for the taste of the chicken! Cooked to perfection and the chilli sauce best I've ever had! A soild 8 out of 10! Chips was abit standard and average taste! They let the meal down.

This place was busy which made me think I made the right choice in having my dinner from here. Food was really good. Donner kebab had a great taste. Vegetable curry that came with the biryiani was slightly sweet for my taste buds. Friendly bunch of staff. Very welcoming. If you are visiting and you want to try delicious food. Look no further

We found this place by accident while staying in Bangor for a few nights. We were so impressed with how fresh the food was, everything was so clean and the guys were so friendly. We ordered a mixed kebab, chips, onion bhaji and some chicken tikka skewers. The food was absolutely gorgeous, so tasty. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this takeaway.

Good fresh quality naan and well seasoned chicken. Fresh salad and a decent amount of sauce. Only thing i could say is that the sauces were slightly on the watery side and the price was a bit dearer than I would have expected. On the whole an enjoyable and clean meal. Thank you

I've been here multiple times the onion bajis are great but the doner tastes like dog food and I've actually tasted dog food so I know what I'm talking about lol if you want a decent kebab go to the top of town and visit kebabys it's the best in bangor

Ordered butter chicken curry. Turned out to be full of red food colouring, also seemed to just use chicken pieces from the chicken skewers rather than a proper chicken curry. Very dissapointed.

Kebabs were precooked and only heated on the grill before serving. The nan wasn't great either. Pretty ordinary stuff which was disappointing.

Be prepared for an amazing culinary experience. My only quibble is that is a takeout and not a sit-in. Staff there are friendly and helpful

I have always rated this kebab house as excellent! But no more!!! today I ordered a chicken kebab on nan with salad as always! But this photo says it all! 4 small pieces of chicken, salad! What salad less than a handfull of lettuce is all there was! And the nan bread! Was under cooked!!!! Never again

After a night out in Bangor, this is the place to go. Always spot on and the price is decent. I always go for a chips, cheese, kebab and Garlic Mayo. I was only introduced to this place recently, I will never go anywhere else. Nice one.

Ive been getting g food from here for the past twenty years, and it's still one of the best takeaway places I've been to. The staff are friendly, the shop is always clean, and the food tastes great.

After standing for an hour in the que on a saturday night i hoped it was going to be worth it. Well how wrong i was, its the worst Kebab ive ever tasted. Bottom of the tray was a layer of fat. Gave me heartburn all evening. My daughter also tried it same week not going on her mother experience and her mixed meet kebab (chicken not cooked properly) After speaking to others im told that the prices have risen but the portions have gone smaller. Wont see me having a take away from here again!

Just done a 17/18 hour day across multiple jobs. Walked in 1.45am,starving to a shop full customers, just wanted some simple warm food having not found time to eat much today, was after cheesy chips. I ordered expecting it to take ages but the guy probably could tell I was knackered and just got them there and then, like, hurried the food around the other 20 meals him & his team were making... Beyond appreciate that and saved me going to bed hungry and miserable! Top top service thank you! Gone to sleep 5 mins later just to leave this review as only fair!

The food in this place is nice. We tried a Shish Kebab and a Chicken Tikka Naan. Both were prepared on the grill and tasted really good. Prices are good for the quality and amount of food that you get. However, I wished the place had some space to eat inside.

We ate here after climbing Mt Snowdon! Comfort food is what i was after and that was exactly what i got! Nice doner meat and chips, good service too.

Best kebab in Bangor, no question about it.

My partner got me a cheese burger with mayonnaise and himself the same..my burger was burnt to a crisp and to cover the taste of burnt up,they smothered it in mayonnaise! ! Absolutely disgusting biting into a whole tub of mayo! (May as well of been),my partners burger he asked for a toasted bap....the bap came not toasted!! We also ordered some chips and cheese?we got the chips with no cheese...to pay money for food you EXPECT it to be edible Aleast my burger was NOT...and I don't like plain chips so the burger and chips got wasted!...

After working the doors with my other half, on the rare occasion, we'd go to Shahins.... never a dissappointment. All fresh, full of flavour, well worth the money, polite and quick service, plus a clean environment.

Ordered a kebab from here the other day for the first time and it was really nice. Bit more expensive than other places but tasted good.

I've visited Kebab shops across the country and haven't yet found one that beats Shahin's. Donner Meat and Chips has become my regular.

5* health rating. Fab takeaway food and very friendly and communicative staff in the takeaway. Would always recommend Shahin's.

Awesome curries and kebabs, the mixed keema nan kebab is a proper mouthful! It is a bit far from us but worth it. Delivery would be good!
