Our children and very particular about their chips and they really loved this place. Friendly staff, great chips and outdoor seating. What more could you ask for?

Super crispy batter chunky meaty cod it was the best I had while I was there

We went to Llandudno for the day with the specific idea of having fish and chips "at the seaside". We googled reviews and Nana's came up as the top review so we headed there. The staff were nice and friendly but unfortunately the food was not up to scratch. We were expecting beautiful, fresh, quality fish but it was sadly lacking and slightly overcooked. The chips were greasy, and the taste of the oil lingered all day. We've had far better fish and chips from our hometown in the West Midlands, which is as far away from the sea that you can get. Completely disappointing, must do better.

Great portion sizes and really good tasting fish and chips. Even got a free sausage for the dog which was really thoughtful and honestly made us remember the experience even more. Would go back next in Llandudno :)

I would travel from Leeds to have the large sausage and drink meal deal. It even included chips! I recommend this fish and chips to anyone in wales, Llandudno.

The curry sauce was so good, I came from Leeds on holiday to wales and decided to go here, did not regret it it was SO GOOD and the restaurant was themed like a boat and looked so good. I would have been even drive from Leeds to Wales again just to come here. I recommend this to anybody on holiday at Llandudno.

Value for money fish and chips shop, the sort of place you expect to find at the seaside in the UK. The service was really with a smile, the food was fresh, and the servings were huge!!

Absolutely wonderful takeaway fish and chips here. Friendly and prompt service, and probably the nicest fish & chips I can remember! Really light and crispy, and decent curry sauce. Our local fish & chips in South Wales have a ludicrous selection of curry (does the world of chippies really need a bewildering choice of Chinese, Chip Shop or Irish curry?!??) - this chip shop does the one, and it’s a banger! Well done Nana!

Este es nuestro tercer verano en Gales del Norte y Nana's Fish & Chips sigue siendo uno de los favoritos de la familia. No soy un gran fan de Fish & Chips, ya que por lo general no me gustan las papas fritas, pero en Nana's son encantadores, crujientes por fuera y esponjosos por dentro! El pescado es muy agradable también, no demasiado rebozado y siempre sabe fresco.

Visited for lunch 06.08.24, family had chip buttys and I had a fish cake, all beautifully cooked tasted amazing. Not a long wait and great value for money.

Had one of these after reading reviews. Was an okay last minute chippy tea. Not the best fish and chips I've had. Had to wait as they had ran out of chips which I took for a good sign. Came out very greasy and not the biggest of fish for £11.25 but I was committed. Staff were lovely and friendly though.

No queriendo arriesgarnos a ser atacados por las gaviotas y el muelle, y estando realmente decepcionados con las otras tiendas de patatas fritas disponibles, nos quedamos con ganas de encontrar Nana's. Solo una pequeña tienda de patatas fritas con patatas fritas perfectamente cocinadas y ofertas de comida que eran realmente justo precio. Las porciones eran muy decentes. Personal amable y servicio rápido. Hay un par de mesas pequeñas en el interior y algunos asientos al aire libre. Fuimos vistos por una gaviota esperanzada, pero ninguno fue en picado - bombardeándonos, así que eso es una ventaja definitiva! ¡No puede salir mal!

Came here today with my son my daughter and her friend. The chips were amazing. I've no idea what oil they use but it was lush. The girl serving was lovely and friendly. Would definitely come again if I was holidaying this way.

Little bit of a hidden gem this place, it was the first chippy we stumbled across, so decided, why not. The staff here were lovely, friendly and just all round polite. The food was fantastic, chips were crunchy, full of salt, and piping hot. Food was served to our table (which the staff here offered to do) - which in my eyes, makes a massive difference. We can settle in whilst waiting for our food. Food came with a smile, and a really pleasant experience. Has got to be one of the nicest chippies I’ve been to - and I don’t say that lightly!

Just moved to llandudno from Bangor and I must say tonight's chips were the best I have had in a very long time. All staff are very pleasant and I will definitely be using this chippy for the foreseeable future. Thank you, Matty.

I ordered chicken burger. Even a 2 yrs old child would put some effort to make it. They served me a raw bun with spread of butter and a chicken slice inside. I was too upset to take a pic. But the stafg was friendly and if you sit out you can enjoy a beautiful street view

The absolute worst meal we have EVER HAD in our lives husband 80 me 74. The girl took our order and served a completely different combination as paid for. Chips were inedible thin and disgusting fish was OK when we took off the batter peas were edible. Disgusting meal. Major indigestion after eating

What a hidden gem. Sat outside with family and dog after surprising my mum for her birthday in Llandudno. Known as Nana by my kids she was over the moon and so were we with the quality of the food. The batter on the fish was amazing and the staff were really friendly. Even the dog had a treat when the owner gave him a sausage. Will definitely be going back. It’s just off the main area but well worth a visit

Had fish and chips with peas, which was perfect after a hike to Great Orme. Everything was fine and the staff was nice. Recommended.

Wow! What a gem we stumbled upon! After browsing through TripAdvisor recommendations, we decided to give this chip shop a try, and we were not disappointed. We opted for the fish and chip meal deal complete with a drink and bread and butter. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and served piping hot. The cozy atmosphere inside was the perfect respite after a stroll along the seafront. The ladies running the place were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding an extra layer of warmth to our dining experience. With freshly cooked food and reasonable prices, this chip shop is definitely a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of seaside perfection!

Just had fish, chips and curry sauce from here. Very friendly, professional staff, food came quickly and was piping hot. Chips were crunchy on the outside and soft inside, fish was fresh and the batter was amazing. 5* will definitely come again next time I'm here!

Shop was greasy and dark, fish looked like it was a multi pack frozen fish from a supermarket, chips were full of oil instead of potato, polite staff and quick service though. No idea how this is a top rated chippy in the area, was awful tbh. But I guess they don’t need customer retention because they’ll always get tourists, hence why they get away with cheap and terrible food for a high price.

£6.50 meal deal. Sausage chips and curry sauce - with drink. Good value and freshly cooked. Seats outside. Meal delivered to table. Very good no issues.

Fabulous chips, really prompt service. Don't be put-off by a lack of items in the hot counter we asked for items not there and they came our promptly. The gravy was some of the best I've had from a chip shop! Some indoor seating but not loads.

Went in recently and had a very pleasant experience, the staff were really nice and helpful. Food was really reasonably priced, especially as it was literally a 2 minute walk from the beach. The food it’s self was good, definitely some of the better chippy I’ve had.

Going to be honest here, I'm not a massive fan of Fish and Chips. I like the fish but I don't like chips when they're soggy and I find they usually are. Not at Nana's though! Chips were absolutely lovely! Crisp on the outside, fluffy in the inside - absolutely perfect. The fish was amazing too. Will definitely visit again and cannot recommend highly enough.

Saw this as supposedly the best in Llandudno. When we arrived it looked run down and dirty. Staff could have been more friendly. The food wasn’t enjoyable my chips didn’t taste fresh. Would not come back here if we came back to Llandudno

Came upon Nana's by chance on a day trip to Llandudno and very glad we did. The fish and chips were the best we've eaten in Llandudno and a good cuppa too. Friendly staff also made for a pleasant lunch stop.

Got myself fish and chips with mushy peas. The peas were delicious as for the fish it was bland. The tables werent cleaned. Had to clean it ourselfs.

I recently dined at Nana's Fish and Chips and was thoroughly impressed. The portions were generous, the flavors were authentic and delicious, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone craving a satisfying fish and chips experience.

Excellent fish and chips, very reasonably priced. Ate early afternoon so fish and chips all cooked fresh, fish batter nice crispy and dry, chips very tasty, sat in as wet outside, owner bought outside table in so as the four of us had a bit more space. Would definitley recomend.

My partner and I got the meal for £10.50 each which was supposed to come with “bread and butter” we did not receive that. Now, we chose that very meal just for that reason. Fish was bland, our dish was full of scraps. Was not impressed. Mushy peas were not that nice either. Apart from the scraps all over my chips- the chips were the only nice thing about the dish. But I barely got any.

Friendly place, lovely servers who cook to order. Tried fishcake and chips in a children's portion, fantastic. Cost £4.50. chips were beautiful, crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The fishcake melted in the mouth.

We went on the hunt for Nana's after we noticed it was rated the best fish and chips in the area. We were not disappointed. It's not very often I finish a full meal, but I didn't even leave the tail end of my batter for a seagull, who was watching every fork full that I ate. Little tables and chairs outside, although we would have been happy with a scabby wall to sit on. Keep up the good work Nana!

Came here tonight with my family! No word of a lie they were the best chips we have all ever had!! Just perfect! It was busy understandably because of the weather but the staff were stil friendly & accommodating! The meal deal with the large sausage, chips, curry & a drink is great 👍 We will 100% be returning! The hour and a half drive from Liverpool will be worth it for them chips again 😂🙌

The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, the seating options were both clean and and varied. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and provided exceptional service throughout my visit. Their knowledge and passion for the food they served were evident, and they were more than happy to guide me through the menu and recommend their specialties. However the best part by far we’re the chips, they were simply excellent. Crunchy, fluffy and hot these were the best chips I have ever had the pleasure of eating I would recommend them to everyone. Definitely a must have.

Chips £3 a bag/box. Decent chips and decent vinegar. Tables outside were a bit dirty with food on the floor. Would of been nice if someone kept on top on the cleaning every hour or so. Not a bad experience though.

Dropped in with husband and two kids (11 and 9). Sausage and chips for them, cheese & onion pie and chips for me. All delicious! Staff very friendly. They'd actually cleaned up inside already as only an hour left before closing, but still let us sit inside (although okay weather, it was a bit chilly to eat outside at 6pm). Will definitely use again next time we visit.

Best chippy chips I have had in a very long time!

Chose to eat here as the reviews seemed to be good but we were very disappointed. We got fish and chips, the fish was thin and batter was soggy also the chips weren't great. However the curry sauce was nice and the people serving seemed friendly.
