The best restaurants serving Default food in Butetown Cardiff South Wales

Frist of all we came for holiday and it was absolutely right decision to choose this hotel, we had such a heart touching welcome by the reception staff ,our room had beautiful view and spa was amazing, Ronia was absolutely helpful,welcoming and such a good soul I must say she is asset of this hotel, she is helping guest from her heart, definitely we will come back to this hotel .

Friendly staff and great location

Not a good experience here. The hotel had no hot water and failed to partially refund me for this even though they said they would. As others have said the cleaning is poor - I had drain flies around the shower area in my room. There are better, similarly priced options in the area.

The food was really good we arrived late after a bit of turmoil with the railway upgrading smiling staff very clean room. We have stayed in the premier inn in Headingly and that was good too they both knocked spots off the Hilton in Harrogate def recommend them

It’s the hotel restaurant, beautifully designed. The beer and Italian wine were nice. The food was good quality, I didn’t like the onion rings that much, but the rest was very nice. The service was good and the staff were nice and polite. I recommend this restaurant. It also has a very beautiful balcony, a nice place you can drink and look at the bay.

Definitely closed today. Closed while CB station being upgraded.

Excellent coffee right on my doorstep... what's not to like! Friendly staff make this my new go-to place for a coffee on weekdays while working from home.

Superb local coffee shop in cardiff bay. The ambience, welcome and coffee / food is excellent. It’s great to see an independent coffee shop in the area. Highly recommend it for groups, couples / friends and solos looking to chill out over a coffee. Thanks Sean and Chris!

Our go to place when we visit Red dragon centre.

Stopped in here for some food midweek with a group of five. Ordering was quick and both food and drinks arrived really quickly. The chilli squid was absolutely spot on and it might be the flavour from that which made the katsu curry taste unfortunately quite bland. The toilets could do with regular attendance. They were quite unpleasant. The bill paying by app was a pain and it put me off wanting to eat there.

On a visit to Cardiff bay and was just passing when noticed the menu in the window and saw quite a few vegan choices - which we can’t get in our part of Cornwall - so decided to try the vegan chow mein and my partner had the vegan special rice. Wow, the food was delicious - the chow mein especially, with lots of seitan and vegetables, I was in food heaven! My partner’s rice was a bit too plain, so we swapped some of our meal and mixed it up and it was really good together. Back home now, but we will definitely be stopping here next time we’re visiting our daughter again. Yum!

The service is very good. The food quality is decent, our Australian wine was very good. So I’m giving it a 5 for its nice atmosphere and quality.

Me and some friends visited the restaurant on September 14th for my birthday and the entire experience was brilliant! The food was perfect, the atmosphere was great and the staff were absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I even got a birthday card from them and they sung happy birthday to me, they truly became a part of my birthday! Sadly I didn't get photos of any main meals, but they were all presented beautifully and they tasted even better! I will 100% be visiting again!
