Surprisingly well-equipped, comfortable and spacious rooms. Easy to get to and a short walk to the docks.

Nice hotel ,clean tidy rooms, spacious rooms, great location for town/bay areas and plenty of food options in the quays and city centre…. Only hard part with this hotel is parking close especially for disabled guests.

We came with my husband to spend 2 nights in this nightmare place. After we checked in and went in our room, we found an empty bottle and a plate front of the room door. The room size was ok, but not looking modern or cleaned properly. Forehead print on the window, the bath probably not been cleaned for a while. The make up mirror was full with fingerprints. The shower hose was leaking and spraying water everywhere. When we reported the problem a handyman came soon but we said we can’t wait until he fix the shower, because we had a meeting and we had to use the shower otherwise we will be late. We noticed later the man came back while we were out without they let us know, even we left the “don’t disturb” sign handle. The bath plug hole was blocked, and the dirt came back while using the shower. I have gluten dairy and soya intolerance. Before we paid the breakfast, I mentioned to the receptionist my intolerance problem, and I asked him if I can have options for my need . The answer was yes. Compare that I couldn’t have a coffee in the morning because no alternative milk I can have. The breakfast for £15 was very average. I could have only 2 slice of gluten free toast because that was the only option for me. Their had gluten free cereal but no dairy and gluten free milk with it. I asked some fresh vegetables because it wasn’t in the buffet, but the answer was have some grapes instead of vegetables 😡😡😡. I asked fresh vegetables because I did want to eat that, not grapes! The receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all. Never again this place and I don’t recommend it at all!!!

Came here for the first time l2 weeks ago and we are already back. We booked a king suite the both times and it was a lovely touch. Room is sparkling clean, bathrobes, Prosecco, fresh fruit and chocolate are included in the price. Staff are lovely and nothing is an issue. Being both very anxious, we order room service a lot and it’s absolutely beautiful

Perfectly located for the Cardiff Millennium Centre. Great rooms and good facilities. Plenty of car parking spaces just remember to log in your reg ar receipt.

One of the rare and reasonable priced hotels in Cardiff that offers free parking. For most other hotels you should add around £20 per day to the rate that is if they have parking available. They also have EV charging, which they offer at a flat £10 charge and an additional £10 refundable deposit for the charging card. During my stay on a weekday, there were no other EVs using the four charging points. The breakfast spread was okay and again reasonably priced for kids. The beds were not super comfortable and we booked the last room available and ended up with an accessible room. The hotel seems fairly popular.

We had a lovely suite, and It was nice to have the space to spread out. A cheeky complimentary bottle on arrival. Large selection for breakfast, rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.

Absolutely shambolic! First we had to listen to two drunk people having an explosive row next door until the early hours then the next day the handle came off our door and I got stuck in my room we had to get a lock smith and everything !! Just shows how experienced the staff are and also shows how unsafe this hotel is because if there was a fire what would you do? Jump out of your window like some sort of eastenders scene? NO. Dangerous place and insecure doors. If you go in these room you’d be lucky to get out again. Avoid.Avoid.Avoid.

Much better than expected. Good rates despite being fairly upmarket. Breakfast is a bit too pricey though. The staff have been very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Nice hotel for business peeps or families.

Expensive for what it was. No better than a Premier Inn and breakfast expensive in comparison as kids are not free. Good location and free parking useful.

Lovely hotel. Car parking, nice food, outside area for use in the sunshine. The beds were so comfortable as were the pillows. 5 minutes to the city centre.

This is an easy hotel to reach.. just follow the a4232 from the west, go through the tunnel and the future Inn is right in front of you. Parking is free at this hotel. You simply enter your registration plate on the desk at check in. The rooms are spacious with towels, tea and coffee and bath robes and slippers supplied. There are two yes two full size double beds in the room. Shower facilities are good and clean. So, If you are thinking of having a meal down the bay or in the "Thomas" restaurant in the hotel this is the place for you. There are two lifts at the "future Inn" so access to every floor is easy.

General manager an absolute joke! Rude, inattentive with no authority to act in an emergency situation after door handle breaking and son getting locked in room for over 2 hours! My partner had to call a lock smith after waiting for what seemed like a decade for the staff to act! Goodness only knows what would have happened in a situation of a fire........... scary thought! We waited another 2 hours before they reluctantly gave us another room to replace the one with the broken door handle! Location was good in close proximity to the bay but please take my advice......... avoid this hotel at all costs if you want a peaceful nights sleep! Couple arguing in next room until the small hours and groups of stag dos in bar causing chaos! So to sum up in one word a story of our stay at the Future Inn Cardiff Bay......... shambolic!

Location is excellent. The staff and service is utterly appalling. I would not stay here again if they offered me a lifetime supply of free rooms! It’s noisy, angry clients, yobbish stag dos etc. stayed here with family and were told we couldn’t enter the lift with a drunken couple who had a domestic row in their room next to us until 3am. The bar was frequented by drunken hooligans and it was only 4pm. They were throwing beer over each other and banging beer bottles on each others heads. The behaviour beggared belief!! Like something from a Benidorm stag do featuring sticky Vicky! One was dressed up as Bob the Builder for god’s sake and swearing and shouting! I Mentioned to the reception and was belligerently dismissed. The “duty” manager, Donabel is quite possibly the rudest human being I have ever encountered and despite her elevated position just says, “there’s nothing I can do”. I don’t really understand what her job is if that’s the case. She has no interpersonal skills and doesn’t acknowledge problems even when colleagues confirm that there is a problem. It borders on shear arrogance. Please don’t book here, it’s just the absolute epitome of cheap and tacky pretending to be a high class hotel! It’s a shame as some lovely people were booked in who we shared horror stories with and they’d made the same mistake as my family!

It was good, just make sure that the AC is working and that they don’t give you a room facing the highway. Extremely noisy. Not worth the price.

Can’t fault this hotel, staff, room etc even comes with complimentary robes and slippers, ice maker and laundry facilities, only issue was the tv channels, due to free view reception, but apart from that excellent will stay here again

Really nice room with a sofa and TV. Nice bathroom. 2 chairs and a table for card games. Nice housekeeping staff gave us some water and more body wash. Good lactation. All clean, good price.

Conveniently situated 10 mins drive from Cardiff centre on a roundabout in the dock/ bay area. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious ( 2x double beds). Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast consisted of a varied choice of full breakfast or continental, which was good. Would use this hotel again. Ps ...Asked reception to order us a taxi into centre, which was £7.50 (about going rate). On returning back at 6pm phoned a local highly rated firm where we were quoted £25 for the same journey of under 2 miles, which was outrageous... Ended up using Uber, which was fast and great value instead...

Excellent stay room was just perfect very clean and spacious. Staff were all very helpful breakfast was amazing and food at dinner was awesome
