Attentive but but intrusive service . Coffees ..fab .. hot and delicious Cakes decadent and treat-worthy . Not cheap, but all quality.

Lovely spacious restaurant, a good amount of seating, extremely clean and tidy with excellent decor. A lovely menu and specials board available. Food and drink arrived quickly and was a good temperature and taste. Waitress Natalie was very friendly and more than helpful throughout the stay. The toilets we're a very high standard and it was refreshing to see hand lotion available too. There are other dishes I'd like to try on the menu, so will be calling again very soon. Perhaps my favourite is the pizzas. Highly recommended. 10/10..

Always had a good experience here but today's was poor. Sat where a cold wind blew on to our table whenever the door was opened despite lots of empty tables elsewhere. Only 12 there , and 8 were already eating when we arrived but it still took nearly 30 minutes to get our food. When mine arrived the plate was cold and the pasta was warm at best. The Stufato was tasteless with a chewy dough and the Beef Ragu was lacking in beef. At about £18 for a pasta dish it was not worth the money. I have had a bigger , tastier dish in a seafront restaurant in Cannes for 15 euros. I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. I must add that despite the overall disappointment , the staff serving us were very pleasant and helpful.

It was quite busy when we arrived and we were concerned so when we ordered we advised that were going to a show and were reassured that we would have enough time to get there. Our order was quickly delivered and delicious as always. I'd highly recommend the garlic prawns speidini which is a starter but I had it as a mains with a side order of chips (to mop up the delicious garlic sauce) Delicious!!! I would definitely recommend A++

We went for meal last night. Very welcoming. First course was good. Tasty and large portions. Main cause was abysmal. Lasagne was good but we had a pasta with chicken and Parma ham. When we started to eat it there was no sauce only cheese browned and melted on top. It was very dry and not edible as so dry. Admittedly the supervisor did take the mains off the bill. We did have deserts and they were lovely. The waitress was very good and polite.

Had a table for 2 booked. Walked in and stood at the reception area. A member of staff approached us and welcomed us with silence and an unsmiling face. I said I had a table booked, gave the time and name. The member of staff said nothing and started looking on an iPad. They then grunted to me, over their shoulder the word “Allergies”. I’ve been to restaurants before so assumed he was trying to ask if we had any allergies or intolerance's. I said to his back as he didn’t turn to face us at any point that there wasn’t. The member of staff then picked up 2 menus and walked away, again with no communication with us. He walked to a table and dropped the menus on the table and then walked away. We saw the manager standing to one side and my partner talked with him and voiced how shocked we were at the attitude of the member of staff. We don’t expect to be treated like royalty, but some basic interaction, a hello and a smile all help. If they were having a bad day, then ask for a break, but if you’re customer facing and the first point of contact, set a good impression. After talking to the manager, we left and went to Pizza Express a few doors down, where the greeting was a polar opposite. Do better Zizzi’s.

Barry was fantastic and went above and beyond (Mermaid Key - 04/02/2025 - evening meal) atmosphere marked down one star due to very little attendance on that day and time. But the venue is lovely. Thank you Barry

Zizi Restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants in Britain It has more than one branch This branch is located in Cardiff Bay Its location is special After a walk on the bay We sat there for lunch This time we tried the classic pizza And cheese fondue is my favorite The staff is quick and the service is nice The price is also excellent

Sat outside in the lovely sunshine enjoying the view in feb!. Food was superb! Recommend the wagu meatballs dish. Being outside we had to order on the app- a few issues with not all the kids options on there but the friendly manager was quick to sort that for us. Even busy the service was excellent.

Holly H (Cardiff Bay) was friendly throughout our visit. She dealt well with our query of a free drink from the Zillionaires perks.

Lovely visit. Booked a table in advance during half term. Aly was excellent and very attentive, I’d brought my 2yr old and a baby. I had a booth (helped a lot as I needed to nurse baby during our visit). The food was fabulous, the pasta crisps were a huge hit with my toddler and my aubergine meatballs starter (nice amount of spice!) and rainbow lasagne main which I asked to be served together (see photo) were piping hot and full of flavour. My daughter enjoyed her pizza and chocolate icecream, and we used our Tesco Clubcard vouchers to cover the food bill, so only paid for the drinks. A very successful solo parenting visit out! Thanks Aly!

Our food was lovely, but i wasnt happy with the sheer amount of oil. The atmosphere was good and we got to sit next to the window. Holly was lovely and improved the whole experience greatly.

Good service with pleasant atmosphere. The food was good, would recommend the pizzas over the pasta dishes. They accepted student beans/blue light discount at the time of visit but please double check with them before booking in the future:)

Embarrassing service from staff I booked a table for 26 people at 8:30pm, having pre-ordered food the day before. We arrived on time but had to wait another 10 minutes to be seated, despite being reassured the day before on the phone that they already told the table before us that they needed to be out at 8pm. Once seated, there was no warm welcome, and it took ages to get drinks. Despite pre-ordering, food didn’t arrive until after 9pm, and service throughout was slow and the staff clearly didn't want to be there and didn't make any conversation. When I asked about closing time at 9:50pm, a manager bluntly told me they closed at 10pm and mentioned she had a date after she finished work (wanting to get away soon) – unprofessional and unnecessary. Staff showed no initiative; I even had to take my group’s dessert orders myself and then get up and tell the server. We were rushed through dessert and were told we needed to be out by 10.15-10.20 despite my online booking that was offered to me by ZiZi stating 8.30 -10.30pm. Because we felt that we were being rushed, my group felt they had to ask for the payment QR code to start paying whilst having dessert. One dessert order that came to the table was incorrect, and instead of apologising, the waitress claimed she was told the wrong information by me, doing so in front of our whole group. In addition to this, the server was clearly getting ready for her date - putting her hair down etc rather than serving her customers. To top it off, there was confusion over payment. An extra dessert was added to the order by mistake and when we noticed, the manager told everyone it was the other managers fault. I was charged for an extra dessert plus service charge in the end, which I have sent an email to dispute. While the food was great, the service was appalling—disorganised, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. If they can’t handle late bookings properly, they shouldn’t accept them.
