Staff were friendly and food was cooked fresh. This Pepes really cares in preparing food not like other Pepes where they rush the cooking. Definitely will always go this Pepes going forward !!!

I am writing a complaint regarding a distressing experience I had at your takeaway today. When I attempted to pay for my order using Scottish banknotes—which are legal currency throughout the UK—your staff refused to accept them, claiming they were fake. Despite my explanation that these notes are valid, I was met with open hostility and ignorance of UK currency law. In particular, one female staff member behaved in an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. After refusing the notes, she slammed my change onto my hand and said, “It’s not my shop, and it’ll come out of my wage.” This was said in a tone that was unnecessarily rude and made me feel both embarrassed and unwelcome. No customer deserves to be treated with that level of disrespect, especially when trying to use legal currency. It is deeply concerning that your staff are not only unaware of the legitimacy of Scottish banknotes but also feel entitled to express personal frustrations in such an aggressive and inappropriate manner.

Food was cold when arrived. Vegtables in curry were under cooked and overall dissapointed.

We have visited to four other restaurants/cafe in Wellington High street over years of eating out, I truly hope that this review will be helpful rather than just critical, so where to start. I'm not going to comment on the cake side of this business, because I didn't come to Blondie's to try the Cakes, which i'm sure are great, but i'm here for Breakfast. the restaurant is nice with comfortable seating, nice size tables, and the colours are nice, unfortunately the restaurant from the outside looks like a hair salon rather than a restaurant, on entering the restaurant we sat down and looked at the menu which was as expected, I ordered a pot of tea for one, I know how I like my cup of tea, but when it came it was in a mug already with milk and for my taste a little over milky, but no disaster, we then ordered a full English breakfast. we waited for just over an hour before our breakfast arrived. the breakfast itself was fine without being great but certainly ok. the problem is that free parking in wellington is 90 minutes, it took us 15 minutes to walk from the car park to Blondies restaurant, so would take us another 15 minutes to walk back to the car. so you can see that I was now concerned about parking fines. now I know that this isn't Blondies restaurant fault but an hour to cook a breakfast is too long, the price was a little expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. I would very much advise that you visit the other restaurants, Sofias is 50 meters walk away, and is full. Blondies is pretty much empty, which is a great shame. what would I change, I feel that Blondies needs an identity as a cakes Restaurant its failing because the decor doesn't lead itself to this kind of clientele, as a traditional restaurant/cafe the staff need to be more on the ball, better quality, more of it, lower drinks prices. I do hope you guys succeed but it really does need a re-think, and I hope this review might in some way help. Mart

Every table was full with half eaten food, so struggles to find anywhere to sit. Only 2 members of staff working.. one in kitchen and one on tills and restaurant area. Asked for our blue light discount to be told if we weren't in uniform, we couldn't have it, despite showing our card. Really need to review the staffing and policies

We had the vegetarian breakfast and coffee. Service was prompt, helpful and with a friendly smile. Excellent value, with free refills on the coffee and discount for two. The breakfast was hot, tasty and ample. The dinning area was clean, light and spacious.

Ordered a delivery, then cancelled 20 mins later as they had not started preparing the food and thought we would go there in the car instead but they do not refund the money. Lost over £20x won’t ever use again
