Severn Stars Chinese Takeaway in Telford and Wrekin

Lovely food but tonight the satay king prawns were very dry and overcooked which was disappointing. Prices have risen too and they charge 20p for one of their white tiny carrier bags online!!

Rang and asked if they would be able to do broccoli and chicken dish in a garlic sauce which they said was no issue. Got home and it was peppers, mushrooms, and no broccoli. I rung and informed them I’m allergic to mushrooms. There was no compassion. Told me I could have a refund or a new dish but I’d have to collect. I spend a lot of money at Severn Stars and they clearly do not care. Customer service was absolutely shocking

Their yuk sung has to be the best in Telford. Hot fresh, crunchy, bursting full of flavour. No soggy watery mush using frozen mince with barely a carrot or water chestnut in sight. My only gripe is my dish with the king prawns was slightly overcooked in that the prawns were rubbery. A little disappointed.

Really enjoyable and delicious freshly cooked food. They did forget the cashew nuts on a dish I'd ordered on line in the comments section but it didn't spoil our meal. A highly popular and very busy family run Chinese takeaway that's been operating for years. Mixed special curry with extra meat and mushrooms out of this world and loads of prawn toast !

Wow!!! Amazing, incredible food. Piping hot, fresh, full of flavour. Great staff and the owner Kin very pleasant over telephone. I love their website in that you can see all the pictures of the food. My all time faves are the sweet n sour chicken and the King Prawns in chilli salt/pepper. Recommend highly.

Still waiting for my food I ordered it 3 hours ago! Phone has obviously been taken of the hook! If you can't handle the orders don't take our money!!! Absolutely shocking end to a rubbish year!!!!

When I called up I told the person over the phone no onion in my curry as I’m allergic to it. My food came and it had onions in them. The peas and rice (chicken fried rice) were hard. Usually I enjoy my food from here but this time very disappointed. So I paid nearly £28 to hardly eat anything

Easily the best taste in Chinese takeaway in Telford use to have one once and sometimes twice a week but sadly as the the price as reached ridiculous prices I don't go there anymore, probably one of the dearest in Telford I mean its nearly £3 just for a bag of chips.

Great food, meal for one is good, only issue is the prawn crackers are not the best, if they were wo change these they would be perfect!!!

We ordered the Chicken Curry and King Prawn Chow Mien both dishes were delicious. Real value for money

Best Chinese takeaway in Telford. The food is amazing and plentiful. The customer service is excellent, such a warm friendly family run business. Excellent quality food and value for money.

Recommend by a friend as I'm a little picky when it comes to Chinese food and I wasn't disappointed it, was the quickest delivery service iv ever had , delivery man very polite and friendly and food was piping hot full of flavour and generous portion sizes highly recommend and will definitely being using again.. :)

He utilizado este para llevar años con un servicio excelente, sin embargo ya habían cerrado por 6 semanas este verano ya no es el mismo. Hace un par de semanas tuve una comida por debajo de la salsa satay que especialmente era horrible y aguadas, decidió anoche para dar la segunda oportunidad, llamé a las 5.30 y pedimos una entrega 6.30 ya que es cuando mi marido se casa por que explicaron la cena del día anterior y me aseguraron mis preocupaciones serían abordadas. También pedimos un plato de pato en salsa de frijol negro y champiñones me explicaron que mi marido odia las verduras zanahorias, así que por favor a especialmente añadir champiñones y cebollas sólo. La orden llegó a 6.15 y las patatas fritas eran ya han pasado su mejor! Me cobraron casi £4.00 el plato de pato estaba lleno de zanahorias! El satay salsa estaba fría y la ensalada de bultos bajo el pollo satay fue brown! También los pedidos más de £15 gratis por lo general vienen con pan de gambas y no había ninguno. Buscando un lado positivo el curry de gambas rey había langostinos bien pero no era muy picante a pesar de ser solicitado extra caliente. Para ser sincero, el coste de casi 34 libras para una comida a mediados de semana para lo que teníamos era exorbitante. Llamé para quejarme pero estaba perdiendo mi tiempo
