The best restaurants serving Default food in Stafford West Midlands

I ordered from xmas menu chicken was pink inside roast potato was too dry smell of chicken horrible as well love the shop not cafe

where do i begin.. the service was absolutely amazing! the server gave us an extra sauce and it was so delicious. came super quickly too!! highly reccomend:)) <3 went down a treat

I'm assuming that this tearoom is the one we visited yesterday renamed the Mansion House tearoom. Had been looking forward to a tasty lunch only to be terribly disappointed. The swede soup with honey could have been anything, completely tasteless It was perhaps only excelled by the disgustingly soggy,indigestion inducing curried veggie burger. We left the food and won't be back despite having just become members of the National Trust specifically to visit Shugborough on a weekly basis.

Fantastic staff, always bright and cheerful, in an age where customer service seems to have gone down the toilet, this is such a refreshing change, well done

It is a Costa. Normal overpriced food on offer and drinks. Seemed very clean inside and friendly enough staff. What more can you say.

The Shrewsbury Arms is one of those traditional pubs with lots of nooks, crannies and little snugs. Add a roaring, real fire and it is cosiness at its best. There were the ubiquitous tellies on the walls for sport but, in much more traditional vein, there was also a large selection of board games for those of that persuasion. We were happy enough just to enjoy our beers by the fire, which felt particularly luxurious on such a freezing cold evening. Service was nice and this is a really good pub.

Food expensive. Fish not worth the money. Salad. Rocket. One quarter of a piece of cucumber. Quarter tomato. Hardly a salad is it? Garden scruffy covered in weeds. Garden furniture falling apart. Needs all refinishing. "Chef" sat outside smoking. Relayed all of the above to waitress who just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Contacted the owners told it is a lease pub. So would pass on comments to management. So have I heard anything?? No chance. So do yourself a favour. Don't waste your money. And don't complain you will just get ignored. Obviously communication is not a strong point

Food was awful. Been using this takeaway for years, today meal was dreadful. The salad in the chicken satay starter was “cooked” by the sauce and unpleasant. The sweet and sour chicken ball came with a sour “vinegary” tasting sauce! Not one bit of sweetness in it. The chicken fried rice was ok. Nothing tasted as per their usual meal. In today meal would not recommend at all.

Too slow service, staff barely move, body language says they would rather not be there. My drinks and ice-cream was made as soon as ordering was placed. So, hot drink got cold, ice-cream melted. It was remade but a bit of common sense can prevent waste

Very poor experience eating here. The quality of food is very low. Gourmet chips are just like basic frozen chips you could pick up at the supermarket. Quiche was dry, vegetables cold and was charged £3.95 for 3 thyme roasted potatoes that were dry and didn't taste of thyme at all. The coffee and walnut cake was hard and stale. I certainly won't be eating here again. For the cost there are much nicer places to eat close by.

Very disappointed. Food took over an hour to be delivered; was only warm; one item missing (as last time); chicken more the size of sparrow would not recommend. Not a patch on Tiger Bite!!

Costa till marked as closed as staff too busy chatting. Watched her make my drink with oat milk when I specified I wanted full fat cows milk. Was then snapped at that the oat milk was for a different drink. Tried my full fat extra espresso caramel latte to find it HAS been made with oat milk, no caramel and burnt coffee. When paying almost £10 for a coffee you at least expect to get what you ordered not this mess and to be shouted at by the staff.

Lovely cafe and lovely cakes scones etc to eat in or take away Great selection of teas and coffees and lovely freshly baked bread and cakes Had a lovely pot of tea and delicious jam tart when visiting Eccleshall

Had a meal with my sister for her birthday and the food was delicious seared with a smile and good value for money will definitely be coming back
