The best restaurants serving Default food in North Warwickshire West Midlands

Moved from a table twice and quite brusquely too. Two female waitresses very rude and sneery . However the male members of staff serving the food and drink very pleasant . Food mediocre , cold poached eggs - never a winner . Staff didn’t want to know and didn’t bother to ask about food. Then had the nerve to add 10% on the bill for service charge. Certainly won’t visit again and will not recommend to anyone either

Chicken meat is always lovely, never had a complaint about it and I can be a very picky person. Always a lovely service and food 🙂

A solid place for family meal, great for kids and grandparents. Good pub options, served hot and generally generous. Ice cream is Mr Whippy like. Large bar selection. Cuisine is again solid, not a la carte. Donkeys and guinea pigs are nice, but it won't make a romantic or upscale place yet.

The Lord Nelson turned into a beautiful wedding reception. They offered a good set menu and the food was delicious. The staff were super friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful afternoon and evening.

We ate here, the Google system treats this as a hotel but it's more than that. Fascinating historic place with a central carriage aisle and side rooms. The food was fine, we had the 2 for £20 deal. Basic but nice, great value. Service was fine too, wine a tad pricey. Based on this I recommend the Red Lion

Awful had to leave on Christmas day long wait and terrible food! Had a refund. Will not be returning, ruined Christmas day!

Had a lovely experience here last night. All you can eat buffet £20.99 great value for money. Vast array of dishes all very tasty. A special mention to our server, Ola, she was excellent. Will come again next time we are in Coventry.

The staff were so kind. My sister bought a drink for me but I totally forgot to ask for alternative milk as I cannot have dairy. As soon as I started to drink it I quickly realised and started to feel unwell. I gave it to my sister and quickly explained to staff member Cat. She asked if I would be ok i said yes as I only had a couple of mouthfulls. She made me another free if charge even though I offered to pay. About 20 mins after Cat came outside to make sure I was feeling OK. The girl that served me initially was also very attentive. Thank you for your genuine care and kindness.

My first time here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It’s a lovely independent place with large beer garden, bar and restaurant area. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had booked a table for wheelchair access and everything had been positioned perfectly. The menu is a very sensible size to suit all, but small enough to be fresh, including a range of pizzas. The food is very good and well priced with few mains over £20 which includes two sides of your choosing. I would certainly recommend ash’s look forward to returning soon.

I ate here on Saturday and a few hours after I was so ill and still am I ate the calzone with carvery meats in so they must have not heated the turkey to high temperature i would not eat here again feel awful never felt so awful wish I could get my money back they don't deserve it with how bad I feel

Pleasant stay, comfy and warm bed. Heating needs fixing. The decor needs a revamp. Dinner and breakfast were lovely and delicious. Would stay again.

The staff are unhelpful, abrupt and rude. They have no time for customers and no smile to be seen. We were made to feel extremely unwelcome.

Great selection of fresh good quality food that can be customised - for instance fresh avocado and different cheeses can be added to burgers, chips can be topped with bacon and cheese, and original options such as baked potatoes, chilli and Frostys are available, clean and well maintained with friendly helpful staff!

Just ordered half a crispy duck in hoisin sauce & Crab sweet corn soup. The duck was delicious, cooked to perfection & very tasty as was the Hoosin sauce, sweet, sticky & very flavoursome. Just let down by the crab sweet corn soup which was made with crab sticks, which isn’t crab, so felt a little cheated by that!! 😔 As the quality of the food is normally good.
