Bee Hive in North Warwickshire

Awful had to leave on Christmas day long wait and terrible food! Had a refund. Will not be returning, ruined Christmas day!

Been using the Beehive for some time ,booked a table for Sunday lunch thought it was strange when I pulled into the car park it was empty it's normally busy, walked in and there were a handful of people normally every table Is full we ordered a carvery and was told it would be a 45 minute wait, 2 people sitting by us had their food brought to them after a couple of minutes the guy called the waiter over and told him it was cold the waiter took it away the couple walked out 4 other people sent their food back, after 1 hour our food arrived it wasn't hot the roasted potatoes were hard and raw the mash was cold the only hot part of the meal was the meat not an enjoyable meal won't be going in there again, was told it was under new management well all I can say is get your act together as this was a nice place but not anymore.

Very dissapointed went for a birthday treat booked in advance. On arrival no table set for 9 guests .this was then done waited a long time at the bar for drinks .then waited a long time to place food order. Only three staff on for a Saturday. So a lot of people getting a bit fed up.food arrived after 50 minutes and all meals were cold one was still frozen in the middle. All food was returned. The three staff members did their best but the place was very under staffed .a terrible experience spoiled our family meal. I will never go again. The chef could do with some help or re training as food should never be sent out like that.

Went for our evening meal rather than eat at the hotel, excellent steak meal with quality ingredients cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced Well worth the trip out

Visited The Beehive on Saturday, 18th May 2024, for a family celebration of my mother's 78th birthday. Planned 6pm, on arrival, there were plenty of people sitting outside enjoying drinks, chatting in the beautiful sunshine. We received a warm welcome from all staff we meet on the evening, the food, drinks & service were excellent. Our meals consisted of 2 steak & ale pies, 2 mixed grills, lasagne & traditional fish & chips no issues encountered & all thoroughly enjoyable. Pure and Simple, would I visit again? 100% Yes.

Never been before but decided to book for a family get together . We booked for 18 in total and had to pre order our meals . All of the meals were delicious , from the starters to the desserts , but make sure you go with empty tummies as the portions are huge ! Really enjoyable evening at very reasonable prices , will definitely be returning

We have just had a lovely meal at the beehive we had a very warm & friendly welcome my husband had the mixed grill the quality and preparation of the meat was superb I had the tandoori chicken skewers the flavour was lovely and the chicken was very succulent, I feel everyone should support their local pubs & restaurants as it will only be us that are upset when all our local amenities are closed down the beehive is definitely good value for money we would definitely recommend this pub for good food, drinks and warm & frendly atmosphere

We have been going here occasionally and the food has been really good but we went in the week before Christmas and we were very disappointed with the food and response to our complaint. My husband found 2 butter pats under his steak and my meal (a combo) was missing the scampi and mushrooms. I mentioned this to the waitress but she didn't know how to respond, said she would tell the chef !! No apology no other response.

If you want good customer service - DON'T GO HERE If you want a friendly/helpful greeting - DON'T GO HERE If you like being ignored - DON'T GO HERE If you like sarcasm - DON'T GO HERE We are a respectable couple in our early 70's and I have never experienced such couldn't care less service and ignorance from restaurant staff in all my life. We didn't even get asked what we would like to drink, let alone get a glimpse at the menu. When we told the senior waitress we were leaving she didn't appear to be the least bothered. Went to the White Horse down the road where we were greeted with a smile and enjoyed a more than excellent meal.

Rude staff. Attended a Halloween disco for the children - owner moaned about the children running around yet hosted a disco for the children !!!!

Just got back from lunch at The Beehive - for a friends Birthday lunch.There was 15 - we pre ordered from the menu a couple of days before the date. A good selection at reasonable prices. We all arrived just before 1 pm and was asked if we were ready for food. The food is well presented, good quality and quantity and all dishes are hot. We had one long table - with plenty of space not cramped. Service was prompt and by pleasant staff. A good afternoon was had by all.

Fantastic visit to the Beehive. A traditional country pub serving brilliant freshly cooked food at very reasonable prices. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Excellent choice of drinks all at very reasonable prices. We would highly recommend the Beehive

Visited today for daughters 18th birthday. Arrived at around 16.00pm. We was welcomed by the owner and staff member who where so friendly and welcoming. Food arrived about 20 mins after ordering, during short wait the staff was chatting to us and having a laugh. The food was the best pub grub we've had in years, all home made, fresh and boiling hot. And the price was amazing 4 main meals and 2 drinks for £55. After the meal staff came out with a cake fir our daughter and sang happy birthday

We hadn’t booked but the staff found us a table, even though it was a Sunday. By the window too. Lots to choose from the menu and also on the specials board. We ordered Sunday carvery and a sirloin steak. The carvery was good value for money and there were many vegetables to chose from. The steak was very tender and delicious. Definitely will return!

We have been to this pub many times before and had a good experience. We went today and have to say that we will never be returning. My 3 old grandson who is autistic was having a mini melt down as they was a few people around him whilst we waited for a table. We got seated but he was still a little distressed, we was approached by the land lady of the pub who proceeded to tell my grandson “to shut up otherwise he could not sit there, you are making it uncomfortable for the other diners”. This is no way to speak to a child considering the pub is a family pub. I know the landlady is not going to be bothered we left but it’s the principal at the end of the day.

Visited here many years ago when it had different owners and remember it being decent enough, we thought we’d try it again under different owners and have to say we weren’t disappointed. The food we had was very tasty at a very reasonable price (I had nachos and steak and my wife had breaded mushrooms which she loved and chicken, bacon ciabatta). I didn’t get the waitress’s name but she was very pleasant and helpful with a few questions we had for her. Drinks were a cup of tea and a couple of pints of Timothy Taylor’s which was a tasty pint. Would thoroughly recommend this pub to others to try.

What a gem. The Beehive is in a small village setting serving excellent food promptly at very reasonable prices, All the staff are professional and cheerful

Booked the pub for Sunday lunch as it was a good halfway meeting point between our two families. Really impressed - large menu and excellent prices. All the staff really friendly and helpful as were the locals!! Food was superb and even though the pub was extremely busy the meals arrived in no time and were great quality Will definitely return when next in the area
