Ordered and paid via just eat. Said delivery time 55mins so aimed to be home before. In fact delivery Was much quicker abd whilst walking home delivery driver phoned my mobile, answered it too late but phoned straight back but no answer. Got home 2 minutes later but not left delivery. Left me a voicemail saying taking it back. This was 9.30pm so continued to phone mobile and Coleshill road chipshop but neither answered. Must have rang 20+ times. Coleshill Rd chipshop states open until 10.30pm. As this order had been prepaid, can not understand why delivery driver did not leave on my doorstep. Have now disputed and asked for a refund through Just eat

Portions seem smaller than normal

It was like warm and the roe was soggy

the food was dry. the scampi wasn't even cooked well. as it was stone cold. the chips were over cooked and hard.

All good apart from being charged for a 1.5l bottle of coke and got a 1.25l instead. Not happy

Usually really impressed with coleshill but wasn’t tonight. I ordered a cheese burger and it was completely in edible, the bun was burnt so it was hard, the burger was crunchy and hard, no cheese and they put chilli on when I’d requested ketchup. Also never got a call back, the lady I spoke to said she’d speak to the manager and call me - never happened.

never showed up and the restaurant never answered the phone

only one problem asked for just lettuce and onion on my burger and they had put tomato on but just took it off but could taste the tomato

Went here last night had fish chips and curry sauce and a small sausage asked for fresh fish and wasn't listened to she said it was just cooked looked like a reheat as people was waiting I left with the food got home I had bite of the fish and never went bk for a second bite had the sausage and 4 chips later on I was throwing up amd stomach is in bits today and can't eat I will be reporting you to north warwickshire as looking at reviews I'm not the only one

The pizza deal is good however, upon delivery my pizzas were barely lukewarm. After several minutes in the oven they were ok.

Ordered fried rice and it was just fried onions in rice, it was disgusting. Everything else was amazing

Poor interior and had food poisoning off a battered sausage. Guy inside didnt really seem bothered enough about serving me to be honest. Unsure how this is still going 🤦🏼‍♂️

Cheese on the pizzas had a wired funky taste not as good as usual, so disappointing on this occasion.

Avoid! I ordered a cone of chips, £1.99 and a drink, £1.70. Saw the till get ring up for another penny but didn’t think anything of it until I was outside and realised they stole my change!! I know it’s only a penny but what else do they do? If you must go here then add up your order and count your change. Very poor!!

Waited 2hrs for food and when it arrived it was cold so the food was thrown away! What a waste.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE Ordered from Coleshill Road Chippy tonight and I couldn’t regret it anymore. Order came and was missing my daughters hot dog meal, I rang and after EIGHT times I finally got though. Was told ’call back’ over and over again and then hung up on, this happened 3 times then I couldn’t get through again. 40 minutes later and I’ve finally had a call back from the rudest, condescending person I’ve ever spoke to, hanging up on me 4 times as I was talking and being down right VILE. I told them it’s been 40 minutes, we no longer want that food and I want my money back to be told ‘no, you either have the food or dont’. Mistakes happen yes, but the way this has been handled is dreadful! Used plenty of times before and never had an issue, won’t be again! Now out of pocket and my daughters not had the dinner she was excited for 😡😡 Avoid.

Regular customer up until tonight as just ordered food and bought it home to find the chips were white, anaemic and rubbery with a weird taste and uneatable and the pukka pie was stuck to the inside of the foil tin. Call to them and was told they are new potato's and it could be fresh oil also. Also stated that the new potato's they are using are much more white but I didn't feel they were cooked well enough. Told they could be replaced with the same thing which I said no to as doesn't resolve issue. Only option was to go back again myself to collect the same thing. Such a shame as used them for a long time and lady on till is lovely. Won't be going back I'm afraid very disappointed 😕

Was amazed to see a charge for a bag (didn't even come in a bag) delivery charge amd a service charge and it was half hour late. 1 and a half hours for a couple of Pizzas and kebab meat don't advertise a delivery time if you can't stick to it and don't charge for items that you use!!

Collection ready in 25 minutes so no long wait, food was delicious the massala fish is good and very good chips, always meets my expectation

Fishcakes tasted like onions so we couldn't eat them so that was a waste the chips where very greasy.

My husband fetched chips with curry sauce, mushy peas and chips and Roe for me. Sauce good flavour, chips tasty but peas a strange shade of green. However the Roe was ok but such a thin slice. I've noticed around here tinned Roe although quite cheap to buy, chippies give such small slices. So come on out there, the thickness needs to be twice the size at least please.

We ordered 2x pizzas that had garlic base, the garlic was so strong and over powering it was offensive. Neither myself or my husband could eat it. We also ordered onion rings and these arrived really soggy and greasy. We were so disappointed as previous order was lovely. We won’t be ordering the pizza again.

Not a good meal, peas were a strange colour and the burger was missing cheese and looked like it had been cooked a few hours before. Sadly won’t be using again.

Chips was not cooked so phoned up about them, they argued with me telling me they was 100% cooked then I told them to come and try one and hung up on me twice, lost me as a customer. Very unprofessional and all my chips went in the bin.

For a fish and chip place their fish and chips aren't very nice. Fish is fairly flavourless, and dry. My cat wouldn't even eat it. Chips are the same. Everything is stuck to the paper. My partner couldn't finish hers. The burger was good, shame about the cucumber in the salad for it.

Rude. Order arrived early. We have just moved to the area. I questioned why did it arrive early as we was getting the baby to sleep. The reply you get is we don't need your custom. Please don't use this place and knock them off there high horse. Foods bad anyway.

First time i have used Just Eat and it was excellent. I would definately use Just Eat again but not for fish and chips from the venue we chose. The chips were cold and were not great quality mainly scraps and the fish batter was overdone.

I ordered tonight, resturant accepted my order, the money was taken from my bank. A few minutes later order cancelled by resturant because they have no drivers available, yet they're still taking orders for delivery. Now I have to wait to get a refund, which will more than likely be just eat vouchers. I'm not impressed at all, I've never had this problem before, but if you're not able to deliver don't take the order and leave your customers money in limbo.

Purchased small chips (£2.50) at lunchtime today. They were unfit for consumption. Dry, re-heated, wrinkled. I threw them straight in the bin. I would have taken them back, had I lived closer. I will never set foot in that place again.

Even though our order was late they had let us know it would be late driver was apologetic and well informed food was as good as ever time for am extra driver we think.

Food luke warm & below average, delivery time at order was 50-60 minutes then changed to almost 2 hours after confirmation. Did the job but wouldn't use again.

Food was cold and on the doner kebab there was mint not Mayo as I asked for ,so I couldn't eat it.

Pies disgusting; un-edable; chips despite 6.30 pm ish delivery definitely not fresh. Pies were not even wrapped properly, food nearly cold. Will definitely not be ordering from here again. No longer value for money or worth the cost to save self-time in cooking. Lister Road was 1st preference but on completing order no delivery time slots available. Surely their site should not indicate delivery available option. Site needs to be 100%. Definitely won't order from Coleshill Rd again despite being on our doorstep!

i was passing and called in for small bag chips ( cone ) ?? lunchtime today, how much !! yes £2.50 . arrived home and tried to eat what I can only say the worst chips ever tried to eat, tough and chewey very small and bitty, appears to me they were warmed up from last night, even the dog spat them out ,never again i promise

Well what can i say Expensive Small portions White hard undercooked chips Rude staff Dry fish Hard scallops I could go on, i would not recommend this chip shop to anyone. Even my dog turned his nose up at the food. The prices are ridiculous for the size of portions. This is a -5 star review. The people who give them 5 stars have definitely got no taste buds.

Totally ignored what I wanted on my order asked for no salt all came with salt asked for no mushy peas food covered in it. Arrived really late. Staff need to learn how to read orders as do not rate the food at all due to not reading order
