Fantastic meal.
Four of us all had different starters and mains. All had clean plates. Food was full of flavor. Great potion sizes. Very friendly staff
Walked into this bustling pub to catch up with a few friends. The staff promptly sat us down at a table. There are so many great food options to choose from, accommodating pretty much anyone. We were made aware of a wait as the pub was evidently busy but the food was so worth the wait. We were well attended to making sure our glasses were full and we were ok which I thought was lovely. Steak and ale pie, chips and the lasagnas to die for. Couldn’t leave without having a sweet and the crumble of the day was just incredible. All in all a lovely pub with great atmosphere and staff, we can’t wait to go back.
Pre-booked a table for x6 of us, Lovely staff, delicious homemade lasagne & chips, generous portions, very good service & value for money. What more could you ask for!
The best coffee shop in uttoxeter!!
Visited on May Bank Holiday.
Smiling, happy and very attentive staff 110% .
Will definitely return.
Great location.
👌 👏 well done team 👏
The biggest issue here is cleanliness, all the bins were full and overflowing, rubbish was just left on top of the units, which is where your meant to add sugar, milk etc, the tables and floors were also covered in crumbs and leftover food with one table a dumping point for tables that hadn't been cleaned, if it's down to short staffing management needs to address it,
I loved the atmosphere and decoration inside the shop, the food was also amazing. However, I suggest that they add normal milkshakes rather than gelato ones.
I only popped in here for a pint during a bike ride from Wychnor where I had moored my canal boat so I can't comment on the food. What I can say is that they have an excellent range of keg beers and real ales, there's a lovely welcoming and warm atmosphere from other customers and the staff are efficient. This is in sharp contrast to one of the other village pubs I know where strangers are not made particularly welcome and there's a very limited range of beers. Award yourself 10 points if you can nane the culprit!
Well, what can I say. You need to try the food for yourself! It really was amazing.
We had the chicken tikka wrap, lamb desi, and the butter chicken.. and it was amazing!
Cooked to perfection and so fresh.. the chips were cooked perfectly too. Very good price.
Staff super helpful and friendly. second time eating here and I will definitely be back.
Great atmosphere with a relaxed feeling.
Thankyou again :) :)
Visited the Coopers Tavern with friends Saturday afternoon after it was recommended to me as an old fashioned friendly Boozer selling good beer. Sure enough it was exactly that ,friendly comfortably rustic and regularly visited by adults who were in on the secret. After two pork pies and four pints of 'Wandering Monk' ale we left and I was at home asleep by 6.30
It was a good pub for matches. no longer open. I can't write any more. We called in a couple of months ago. They have tried hard to update but not much footfall, due to demographic changes in area most likely.
