Greggs in East Staffordshire

The biggest issue here is cleanliness, all the bins were full and overflowing, rubbish was just left on top of the units, which is where your meant to add sugar, milk etc, the tables and floors were also covered in crumbs and leftover food with one table a dumping point for tables that hadn't been cleaned, if it's down to short staffing management needs to address it,

Admittedly it was near the end of day, 4:30, bought a Cornish and a latte. The pasty was just cold. As for general cleanliness- check the photo. Sat here for more than an hour and no effort to clear the table next to me. As my old teacher once said “could do better”.

A spontaneous visit to Greggs in Burton On Trent today was astounding in the disgusting state of the customer area floor and tables. There was no attempt to wipe any tables or sweep some of the floor debris away. I watched several customers take tissues out of their bags to wipe the previously spilled food from the tables. Why on earth do we put up with this shameful service.

Dirty unhygienic. Uneaten food all over the floors and tables. Half the seating area closed off. Told to move when we attempted to sit in the closed area. So we left. Yuk unclean!

Great place here. Always come here for hot chocolate and pasties it’s the best it is so delicious and the food is great plus good service

when we go town greggs is our favourite place to go now especially they got sitting area abd right in the middle of town it's easy to access, and all can go especially wheel chair uses, pushchair etc only thing I would say be nice if there was facilities for babies / young ones so can warm up milk or food as only place that got a microwave which have to walk there them back to do so is mc Donalds od all places

Since Gregg,s have included the snack bar the queue is terrible all day long.They need two separate queues one for the takeaway and another for the cafe.The queue last week was across the precinct to Pandora?.

Just what was needed on a spectacularly wet lunchtime. Burton was busy, but Greggs was handling high volume footfall well.Fridge full of regular favourites, pastries in front cabinet all present and inviting. Our order was taken efficiently, tea provided and a new loyalty card presented too.Refreshed seating and decor seemed to be in place, with staff working very hard to keep up with clearing. The milk and sugar areas were fully serviced at a peak time - thank you for having everything good today.We were delighted to find this cafe in Burton and will certainly call again for our favourite spiced chicken rolls and sticky doughnuts.

Smashing place for a quick bite. Girls always polite and friendly. Some great breakfast deals, and the coffee is amazing. Greggs probably serve the best Sausage rolls ever, and the new vegan ones are well worth a try.

Very comfortable branch of Greggs, housed within the Coopers Square mall in Burton town centre. Friendly and helpful staff, quick service, lovely pasties.

Situated in the Coopers square shopping centre. Steak bake & sausage rolls for us. Usual excellent standard of food. Friendly efficient staff. Tables to sit or take away. All at a very good price.

Called in today for a quick coffee and decided to try the famous vegan sausage roll, pleased to say I wasn't disappointed. Always a great cup of coffee, and half the price of Costa...they do a brilliant breakfast meal deal, well worth a try. Also do some great lunch meal deals that provide fantastic value for money. Lovely clean shop, super friendly staff, and a good coffee loyalty scheme.Overall a very happy customer.
