Staff are always friendly and hard working and help carrying the tray to the table if needed.I love this team and I'm happy to have my weekly coffee treat here.

Staff don't listen what you order. Them give you the sandwich burned. Tables not cleaned .not recommended these .

Very busy waiting time 10mins in queue but worth it lemon muffin +cappuccino.

Ideal for that quick coffee stop whilst shopping. Lots of seating available and the customers are served with a smile and extremely quickly. A very good selection of cakes, snacks and sandwiches available to accompany your coffee or your drink of choice. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. I recommend a visit when you’re next out in town.

Staff always make my family feel welcome. I have 2 small children and staff go out of their way to keep them happy. It's nice to go in and they already know our order before we get to the till.

Stupid layout of shop as when there is a queue no one can get in. Long wait for coffee as well

Professional and polite staffs. Lots of seating, the queue went quickly. I noticed that the tables was quickly cleaned after customers leave which I think is great. I would recommend this place 100%

Stopped for a quick coffee and I was pleasantly surprised to see how well all the staff got along with each other and customers too. Service was quick and drinks were delicious. I thought the lady in all black (manager?), who was training up a new starter, was fantastic and looked so happy to be there. So much better than Starbucks, where I once saw a mouse 😳

Quite disappointed with the service I received here. I ordered a hot chocolate and a caramel frappe, I was served by Tyler who when ordering the frappe made it quite clear that this was a difficult ask. Shrugging his shoulders and saying that it’s complicated while looking at the queue behind. He made it quite awkward and I felt like i was an inconvenience by ordering something that he didn’t want to make. Not the attitude or service I usually receive from your baristas.

Great coffee, needs a bit of something to provide an atmosphere

One drinks package wasn't delivered with carboard holder so the drinks spilt on delivery.

We ordered 1 x decaf caramel frap and 1 x regular caramel frap but neither was marked. Therefore, they are either both decaf, both caff or potentially one of our party is drinking a caff drink when they wanted decaf.

Great staff, we were in there 20th April in the morning, the ladies were hard working and plentiful banter, Brilliant.

The Kit Kat hot chocolate was ok. I expected something else.

Usual great standard of coffee. Just a shame the tables were not cleared fast enough and meant it was hard to find a clear table to sit at.

Very expensive nice for a treat

No vegan food and coconut flat white was made with dairy milk and was undrinkable. I saw the milk being used, with a red top and starting with S. There seemed to be no procedures in place to ensure the right order was made. There were too many people waiting to be served to make an issue of this, so I just left the drink, after one sip to confirm that it wasn’t coconut. This is an accident waiting to happen if someone has an allergy. Very disappointing

Always loved this branch of Costa. It was the original store in Burton and the staff are already happy and you can have an actual conversation with.

The driver went to the wrong addresses, he called and I tried to give him clear directions but he hung up on me and when he eventually arrived at the door, he was shouting. The coffee is cold and the toastie is cold and hard. I don't usually complain but this driver clearly doesn't understand how to find an address and then was angry at me when he got here. I think he needs training!

Brilliant cappachino nice and frothy

Been a regular Costa customer all across the country since day one. However, this branch is a disgrace to the name. Visited yesterday, toilets filthy and stinking, no frappe drinks available (August holiday period!) stock availability generally very low, and no jam available for the toasted teacakes. Particularly disappointing as my grandson loves going for your teacakes! Not a happy bunny at all!! Muffin Break is a much more pleasant experience. Costa, take notice!

Don't drink coffee so doesn't apply for me

Food is fine. Fuming that the delivery driver has reversed back onto our front garden and left huge marks!!! He didn’t even wait for me to answer, just dumped the food, drover onto the garden (loads of road and pavement space) and left.

Love a good coffee. Barista had a couple of suggestions to make my drink even better!

We received the normal quick service.. And the food was good.. Not too crowded. A pleasant coffee break.

Costa is now owned by Coca Cola but no fizzy coffee yet... 😆 Our local Costa is not as friendly since the previous staff left virtually overnight on block during the Lockdown and were replaced. So we tend to go to other branches where the previous staff now are or else go to Starbucks at the M42/A42 services at Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

As a regular Costa drinker this shop seems to be Burtons busiest. Unfortunately the decor is dated & the toilets scruffy. Not a bad coffee, staff always working hard & are friendly but the tables never seem to be kept clear & the queue to be served can be quite slow. The shop is defiantly over due a make over.

White hot chocolate is more like hot milk unable to drink it

Comfortable place to chill and relax, good selection of food and drinks but are typically top brand price. Worth paying, as it is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Regular visitor.

This is the Costa to use in Burton they know how to treat customers right making you feel welcome while serving yummy drinks

Very slow service ordered coffee and it took 20minutes to get only a few people in the staff took to long because they spent to much time talking to each other will not be going back again

Coffee was cold and so was the shop

Ordered lemon drizzle cake and got apple caramel which I don't like, so it's been wasted. But everything else was great!

Costas ok but nothing special anymore.

Over-priced and mass produced. But we do know that by now. For what it's meant to be, it does it fine. But I can't really afford it all that often, and there are some lovely local coffee shops a stone's throw away so have to take a star off as they're a different level. But you know what you're getting here, and it does what it's meant to. Though with so many Costas in the town and another opening soon, do we really need it? That's three in the main town area alone, we certainly wouldn't miss this, the one by Burton (RIP) or the one in Tesco.

Called the store to ask about the order and the lady had no idea what I was talking about very unprofessional. Not nice too speak to and sounded annoyed. No ordering again !!! My order was totally wrong and had more coffee in the drink than it should. I’m pregnant n could not enjoy my cool drink. Very unimpressed

The code for track and trace on tables doesn't work so you need togo on line and enter number on there site...staff are bir slow despite it being only a few already sat inside and 2 in question in front of us....bit grubby in appearance sadly..not the best costa I've been in

Drink spilt all in bag and toastie cold. I live 240 yards away from shop. Food should not be cold.

Ok for time , but got two medium and not a large and no sweeters

Open longer hours. Clean loads of choices and decent staff. Very covid alert and specific requests ro wesr masks are really obvious to anyone using the store.

Not the best Costa, you're better off going across to the other town centre Costa, 2 minute walk away. This one has useless staff that ruin coffee and the actual cafe area is dingy, dirty and really outdated.

Took ages to complete the order and get it out on the road, with slow drop offs on the way - 45 minutes from order to delivery - not great for fast food! The. Missing items from the order - not impressed

Staff are lovely, especially the weekday morning staff, always make the best coffee to wake me up!

We enjoy the food but their is ALWAYS an item missing,so im left without a meal.at least my 2 sons had food.

I used to like buying coffee a lot, but now this coffee is not very essential. I guess they're trying to save money and make all the coffees with one shot of coffee. This is a disappointment. It happened once that I was given a warm iced tea.
