What an amazing friendly, welcoming and accommodating place. Having been disappointed by an under 5s ban elsewhere, we came here and the lady in charge could not do enough for us: Colouring for the 2 kids; mega helpful regarding our numerous allergies; beautiful food and beer with excellent service - could not recommend more highly - thanks Shoulder of Mutton

Stopped off for a bite to each as travelling through. What a lovely local pub. All the staff were so welcoming! Special mention to the chef Spooner. The food was so tasty and well presented. Highly recommend and will certainly go back if we're that way again.

Bog standard Sunday lunch. Starter and main course were cheap and quality reflected the fact. The meal was good enough to avoid complaint but I would not recommend the restaurant and will not visit again.

Lovely pub/restaurant. We went for Sunday dinner. Three tasty meals all with excellent sized portions at a good price. Cracking vegetarian option - best nut roast I've ever had, My wife and son loved their roasts too. Even the dog had the occasional treat from the plates!

Once again Neil and his staff surpassed expectations. I had a fabulous home made chicken and leek pie with a pastry cover. Piping hot and worth every penny. Pudding was jam sponge and custard and yes it was spot on. My friend, she fancied lite bites, not disappointed at all as the Ham Eggs and chips were also hot and gorgeous. I would recommend this establishment to any one local or passing through. You definitely will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work Neil, it’s working well.

We ate here twice during a short stay in Wychnor. We had dinner and also Sunday lunch. The food was fresh and well prepared. The Sunday lunch in particular was delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. If we are in this area again we will definitely visit again.

So disappointed have visited several time’s previous however this evening we went in waited by screen to hear bar person telling how she had earlier sh*t herself and still felt iffy. Sorry we didn’t want anyone serving us who had bowel issues and could pass on sadly we wont be coming again!!!

Food great but lacking atmosphere. Went on a midweek and was very quiet. The pub is split into smaller rooms and this meant no atmosphere. Food however was great. Pie night and they were lovely as was the special Sea Bass.
