The best restaurants serving Default food in Dorchester North West Dorset South West

We had not eaten in an authentic Japanese restaurant before and the staff could not have been more helpful in helping us! Food was absolutely amazing!

I often have breakfast here when I am working in Dorchester. Wonderful cooked freshly cooked meal with high quality local produce and very friendly service. Add the black pudding.

We had the 10 course tasting menu. It was so good, particularly the meat ball dish and the udon noodles dish. The service was excellent and massive compliments to the chef. Certainly very lucky to have found such an incredible place.

Such a shame Found is closing - this is the best, accessibly priced, well thought out food you can get . Then add in that it’s locally sourced with amazing service, phenomenal chef, you can only say Dorchester doesn’t deserve such a fantastic restaurant. Get in while you can !! 10 Barons

A very enjoyable evening meal. The staff are incredibly polite, attentive and hospitable (especially Georgia!). The tapas menu is perfect for sharing plates or a lighter bite to eat whilst you choose from a large collection of different wines and other spirits. If you’re after a larger meal, then you can order from the next door sister-restaurant’s menu; a really neat touch. Strongly recommend the Sweet Calzone for dessert, it was delicious and unique!

Sure! Here's a shorter, punchier ** Dined at Basilico today and was seriously impressed. pizza was outstanding — crisp, fresh, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The Margherita was a standout, and the tiramisu was the perfect finish. Friendly service, cozy vibes, and quality ingredients. A real gem — I’ll definitely be back soon with friends.

Great little folk night going on and a fantastic range of real ales, proper ciders, perry and wines. Friendly service. Comfy seats and warm. Welcoming people.

Took ages for food mushroom on toast and a slice of baked beans on toast I asked if the mushrooms were big told no sliced up bits, it was a big mushroom ! And the food was served on a stone cold plate !

ordered food spur of the moment.. 20 minutes later it was delivered piping hot, left it for 15 minutes while i sorted plates. still piping hot. food tasted amazing and for the price i was shocked at what i got! i would highly recommend and i will be ordering again..

Excellent but a little expensive.

Hamza catered for us and 80 of our friends and family the evening before our wedding. His falafel wraps were fresh and delicious and his service was efficient but fun and relaxed too. Everyone loved him and his food

We go there everytime we stay in Dorchester. The best little place for breakfast. Can not fault it at all. All the staff are lovely and friendly.

We stopped in for a quick drink on a rainy Friday. The coffee was very good, as well as being well priced and the service was excellent - friendly and helpful.
