Love this friendly stylish and relax cafe. Coffee is good, pastries and food very good quality. Highly recommended for a relax gap in one's day. 😊

Fabulous place to stop for breakfast. Light and airy surroundings, building with a bit of history. Very efficient and polite service. The cooked breakfast was lovely, always good to have a perfect egg. Good range of hot and cold drinks. Comfortable seats and quiet enough to have a good chat or a nice read. The smoked salmon fritata is also very good.

Had a lovely lady serve me today when I popped in for a takeaway coffee and a cake for my son, she really brightened my day, shame I forgot to get a name

Martin and his team from Taste did an incredible job catering for our wedding in Dorchester at the end of August! The BBQ food (done for 120 guests!) was absolutely amazing quality and cooked to perfection - with various dietary requirements and a tricky seating plan, Martin took everything in his stride and him and his staff made our day even more special! A MASSIVE thank you!! We would highly recommend to anyone wanting some brilliant and tasty food for their wedding or special event! THANK YOU!!

Near the high street and inside the museum we find this coffee shop where to stop and eat something. Beautiful decoration and nice treat to clients. Lots of people in the place where we were lucky to get a table. You pay at the end at the bar. The exit is through the museum shop. There are toilets availables for clients.

Excellent lunch time menu that uses local ingredients imaginatively combined to taste really good at a reasonable price

Local franchise in the county museum. Open to the general public. Very good food served by excellent staff. Lovely room, but the acoustics make it pretty noisy.

We just had a coffee which was served in rather small cups but the down side was the acoustics. V noisy fridge and general level of noise even tho not busy.

Their chicken and chorizo wrap is 10/10, the salad too is gorgeous, I hate radish, I hate green beans and I hate rocket, yet they all tasted refreshing and extremely nice. Deffo would come here again. 💪💪

I visit every couple of weeks with my manager for coffee and cake - the staff are always kind and thoughtful, the coffee is fantastic and there's a great selection of sweet treats. Takeaway coffee is always excellent too.

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food! The Evershot Bread is incredible, made the sausage sandwich so so tasty! Eggs were well cooked on the breakfast, tasty mushrooms! Flat White coffee nice and strong. Would visit again if we visit Dorchester again.

Lovely space, great decor with historical black and white photographs. We didn't eat anything, so I can not comment on that. The coffee was apparently pretty good, but I have to say my Earl Grey pot of tea was a little strong for my personal taste🫖

By far the nicest place to have a coffee in Dorchester. Friendly staff, good service, great food. All in a great museum with lots to see. You don’t need to pay entrance fee to go into the cafe and can use the loos in the Museum.

A friendly place with tasty food, amazing customer service and a relaxed but beautiful atmosphere and setting. We went there with 3 kids under 5, one with an allergy, and the staff were friendly, attentive and the little things were just right, like the kids' food arrived first; they responded quickly and kindly to the kind of random requests that come with having three small kids, and we were just generally made to feel welcome. And on top of that all 3 kids ate well, and me and my husband very much enjoyed our food too. Just all round winning!

Good menu for vegetarians and meat eaters, this was the specials board on the day, the loaded veggie hotdog was something different and really tasty. Lovely servers as well.

Popped in for two cappuccinos. Good points: lovely surroundings, tasty drinks and table service too. Bad point: I was charged 75p for soya milk for one of the cappuccinos. Most coffee shops do not levy an extra charge, some a small charge but I've never been charge this additional amount before. Needless to say, we will not be back again.

We had a really good lunch here. Hearty, healthy, tasty specials and nice busy atmosphere. The young staff were incredible - seriously patient, friendly and attentive, either very well trained or they are absolute naturals. Be aware the acoustics are quite echoey if someone is hard of hearing and be prepared to wait as it gets full!

Busy, cheerful café, with very good food (plenty of veggie and vegan options) and an ever-changing specials board, and a surprisingly good range of drinks, from beer and local cider to freshly made tea and coffee. Recommended.

Hi thought this was a temporary while the main trinity street was closed the MAIN one was far superior as it done more and better food so why did it close If the museum one closed all the customers would be back at the trinity street cafe The museum branch doesn’t do half the menus that trinity one did including fries etc as they can only do ding ding food So why closed the one that’s been open the longest we loved the main one much better atmosphere and more relaxing place

I can not fault the quality of the food and the staff. I personally found the menu to fancy. A lot of fancy mixes. I found it hard to find something I liked. The kids menu was lacking simple normal food. As we know kids can be fussy. A bit pricey to.

I come here quite often I must say and I’m never disappointed, The food here is lovely, always cooked really well and never had any problems. The staff and service are always great! Particularly Ollie, real top bloke who always manages to make time to have a good conversation with me and I notice with all customers too. I’d definitely recommend especially when it’s sunny as despite being inside the big windows create a real nice sunspot so definitely worth trying to nab one of those tables. Thank you guys, I will definitely keep returning!! :)

Have been to this cafe a few times and always been happy with our visit. There’s lovely food to choose from but most of all the staff are delightful. They’re friendly, cheerful and helpful. We’ve taken our family there when they’re visiting from afar and they’ve been impressed too. Last time we were there the zip on my coat had broken and neither my husband nor myself could get it undone. The lovely waitress volunteered to try it and when she couldn’t do it went and got a fork and succeeded it getting it undone! Excellent service with a smile 😊

I spent a day in Sherbourne and i found a lovely cafe in the form of the Station Cafe. The food was spot on and the prices were very reasonably priced. The seating is a tight squeeze at busy periods but luckily we arrived at just the right time.

Had lunch here with family yesterday and the food was dreadful, tiny portions, and expensive, 3 of us had the fish pie which had a boiled egg inside & little fish. We were all disappointed and the cappuccinos we received were ony filled to 2/3rds of a cup! Will not be returning to eat here anytime soon, there are much better pubs nearby.
