Ordered delivery of meal for first time. Arrived quickly was piping hot, portions were amazing and delicious and not overpriced. We look forward to having more delicious fish suppers in the future a special treat for us as we are not able to get out and about. Thank you very much.

Honestly awful. Place looks dated and need of modernising. Food is lacklustre at best and way overpriced for what you get. Described as 'fresh' by the owner but its obviously frozen and heated up. London prices for cheap, barely/unedible food Will not be returning.

We decided after being Gourmet Burger kitchen regular customers ( in their restaurant ) to order a take away. It arrived after 50 mins via Courier, everything was stone cold and the burgers were a dishevelled mess. £45 of inedible 😬 I called Gourmet burgers to be told they can’t be held responsible and I should take it up with the courier company. They chose to offer this service through this courier company surely they should want their customers to be happy with the food they ordered from them. You should imagine that their reputation for quality food would matter too. 🤔 Very disappointing.

Called in on a Wednesday lunchtime as we passed by from Bristol airport on our onwards journey to family. Spotlessly clean, I asked for mayo, the squeezey bottle lid and bottle were spotlessly clean, as was the vinegar lid and bottle, toilets clean and tidy. All staff friendly, nothing was too much trouble - I asked for hot water to top up my pot of tea. We had chicken wraps and skinny fries, chicken was nice and juicy, good value for money. We would definitely go back if we were ever in the area again.

Very busy café, but incredibly efficient team handling orders so no wait at all really! I had a chicken Sunday roast with extra gravy, they forgot my Yorkshire pudding and I didn't realise that I didn't have one until an hour later lol, oh dear, it's an age thing ha ha! Roast potatoes obviously deep fried, they were rather bland looking and tasting tbh, so oven roasts would have been much nicer as these weren't the best. £11.95 plus a coffee on top, so circa £15 in total. Dinner was nice enough, and the portions are generous also. I would return for the same, but with the Yorkie next time lol, as the service was excellent, very friendly indeed. Sort the roasties out and you're onto a winner! (P.S. I would recommend this place, the deserts looked absolutely gorgeous!)

The service was impeccable; our server (Josh) was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. He guided us through the evening with perfect timing, ensuring we never felt rushed. Now, onto the food— We began with the warm baked sourdough, calamari, and scotch egg, all of which tasted beautiful. For the main course, I opted for the fillet steak, cooked to a perfect medium-rare, served with garlic king prawns and a confit potato that complemented the dish flawlessly. My girlfriend chose the roast rack of lamb which she thought was delicious and plenty flavorful. Alongside these, I had a side bowl of peas while my girlfriend had onion rings. I don't need to say anything about how we felt regarding dessert as I think the photo speaks for itself. We were so appreciative to the chefs for making it out of kindness. Overall, this restaurant deserves every one of its five stars. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a night of exceptional food and service, this restaurant will not disappoint. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!

Having used Riverside regularly for over 40 years under different ownerships I was left disgusted this evening when I went to collect our pre-ordered takeaway, I waited at the hatch with my bank card in full view, the young lady behind the counter served everyone around me then totally ignored my self before walking back into the kitchen. I held my card up to her to indicate that I was waiting to be served but was still ignored. The final straw was when another customer came in and she immediately went to serve them and carried on ignoring me. I told her quite clearly to forget our order, she tried to apologise and make out that she hadn't realised that I was waiting but that was a feeble excuse having stood at the hatch for 10 minutes with my bank card in full view of her. The sad thing is that the food from Riverside is usually of an excellent quality and there is plenty of it - but if they wish to retain custom then their standard of customer service needs to greatly improve, locals talk to locals and Riverside would do well to remember that.
