Costa Coffee in Sedgemoor

I was given a sub-standard Cortado that was a glass cup full of foam with a small layer of coffee at the bottom of the glass. When I took it back to the counter to change it the guy on the coffee machine started actually arguing with me and said he didn’t make it and he ‘was serving kiosk’ (self service) so it wasn’t his issue and was very rude. I’ve never been spoken to like this by a staff member. Go to Starbucks at another service station instead.

Friday 13th September 10:30ish, Literally just been in, went to get an iced coffee, none of the iced coffees came up on their tv menu so I thought I’d wait and ask a member of staff, I stood for more then 3 minutes at the counter, there was no que and nobody was being served, the young female workers were in the corner giggling and mucking about doing nothing while I stood waiting, then another woman walks up to the counter and they went straight to her and served her so I said forget it and walked off. Absolutely useless!😡

Good service, here comes the BUT? Asked for Tea Cake toasted, used the same toaster as the meat toasties, no grease proof paper used & yellow tonges used, not the green Vegetarian! Please be careful of cross contamination!

Freya served us at the drive thru on Saturday, adding ice to my hot black Americano. I have been drinking coffee for many years from Costa and other well known providers, though this was the first time I have ever been offered ice. Freya was young but what an excellent member of the Costa staff! Polite, professional and great customer service ☺️ Thank you Costa for employing and training such wonderful team members! Made such a difference on a stressful journey! Many thanks! We will continue to enjoy great coffee and customer service.

A very busy shop in a very busy service station. The staff were brilliant and very efficient to keep the waiting time to a minimum.

Standard Costa, with inflated motorway services costs. Staff friendly, was very busy.

The drink was very enjoyable I had the Blueberry Bubble Frappe however, the service was rather slow. I have experienced much better service station coffee shops.

Worst coffee we have ever had, didn't have more than a couple of sips, ended up throwing it away.

I had a nice chocolate tiffin here but my flat white tasted watery and I’d paid for an extra shot so not great. Staff seemed nice and there wasn’t much of a wait.

Got here at 9pm (regularly stop at sedgemoor).. costa shut again. Was so much better before the refurbished sdgemoor yesrs ago.. costa was open till midnight then. Its supposed to be a "services" yet costa can't provide any service in the evening or at night. Disgusting

Obscenely overpriced for very mediocre coffee. Very dissatisfied. Staff isn’t friendly and the place is not clean.

The worst Costa coffee, and both my husband and I both said it was disgusting. I'm not really sure what it tastes like, but we both throw it away. The thing was we pop in there to stretch legs went back to car and I had to get petrol by the time you do that I wasn't going to go back in to het another and tell them . As it would have added more time to journey.

Gentleman taking my order was really nice, and the coffee is warm, however for £12 for 3 coffees is steep and the coffees arent made right. Both of my lattes are flat whites with non existent foam on top - one of them was meant to have cream. The cortado was made backwards, but was alright.

It's a Costa at the motorway services, usually quite busy, other than that, typical Costa at typical Costa prices, stopped off here many times for a cake and a coffee.

Awful won't be stopping again over 30mins for 2 bacon barmcakes because they lost our order.

Make sure you ask them for full fat caramel if you get a coffee with caramel in. I can clearly taste the difference between the two, if i wanted low fat caramel i would have asked. The low fat is vile and i would have thought just asking for just caramel (not low fat) would mean i get full fat.

Only visited for a short coffee break. McDonald's coffee is the cheapest but also the best.

Excellent place, you can stop at this place, rest, walk your dog 100% dog friendly and then continue on your way

The young lad who I think was training was such a nice lad and very efficient on making his first few drinks, great staff all round and loved it !

Breakfast on the way to North Devon. Early so nice and quiet. Tried their new Chicken and ham toastie sandwich, quite nice. Had a pot of tea, as coffee is not my thing, never the same as when make a cup at home but ok.

Efficient drive-thru service, but no where to safely park (unless you enter the car park through its "no entry" signed exits).

Ordered 2 mochas and a white chocolate. While mochas were fine, the chocolate was watery and had staggering 3 marshmallows at the very bottom of the cup... This was the worst white chocolate I ever had in my life.

Good Coffee Refill station off the M5 motorway. This one is inside next to the toilets. This location practices very safe standards, with full Perspects Screens, social distancing signs on the floors, and staff wearing masks. During the busy time, there were 4 staff on shift so things moved quite quickly. The queues are large enough to accommodate wheelchair access. They take both cash and contactless/card.
