The food was delicious and still hot, will definitely be ordering from here again.

Listing shows Hooked is open until 10.30. It also says kitchen sits at 8.30pm. Walked in at 8.15 and was told the kitchen had shut half an hour before. Very disappointing. 😞

Love this place. We eat here regularly as it never fails to disappoint. All the food and service is amazing. We have just had a Sunday roast today and it was one of the best roasts we've ever eaten anywhere. Very generous portions and cooked to perfection. Thank you

Have been coming here for years consistently and habaneros always ranked very highly for me as one of the best burrito places in Cornwall. Staff are always great and it's always a good atmosphere in there. Had a burrito yesterday and I do feel like the past 2 or 3 times I've been in the burrito sizes have been way smaller. They used to be massive, but the last one I had had about as much weight to it as a remote. I don't know if they've changed their tortilla sizes or are trying to budget better with less filling to make more money, but it doesn't feel like the same place it was like 6 months ago. Hopefully they can get their portion sizes back to how they were!

Lovely authentic and flavourful food, would thrloroyhly recommend

Such a let down as we have visited Mannings many times over a number of years and as my previous reviews state it was a great experience. Sadly not any more. Staff are inattentive, poorly trained and defensive. Cocktails took a longer than deemed reasonable to make and some slopped all down the glass. No welcome on arrival in an empty bar. It could be the flagship of the City. There are much better places to get a cocktail so try the Thomas Daniel where you get a warm welcome and smiles from very well trained staff.

I had the pleasure of being served by a really lovely young boy at the café today, and he absolutely made my visit. He was polite, cheerful, and so attentive—something you don’t always see, especially in someone so young. He took the time to make sure everything was just right, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making people feel welcome. It's rare to come across such kindness and professionalism at that age. The café is lucky to have him, and I’ll definitely be coming back—not just for the coffee, but for the great service too!

What a wonderful café! The coffee is delicious, the food excellent and the space - airy white offset by the hygge cosiness of wood - both uplifting and peaceful. Whether you are a devoted regular or new to 108, lovely owners Charlie and Dava will be sure to make you welcome.

After the controversy over Food Review Club losing credibility for giving paid-for amazing reviews. We were a bit skeptical The Thomas Daniel would live up to the hype. So our expectations were pretty low and pretty skeptical it would actually be any good. But wow! This place delivered! It really was incredible. Highly recommended classic roast beef. The attention to detail and the decor. All to a very high standard. It’s quite pricey, our bill came to almost £90. For 2 of us. (We did have 2 ciders each though) But we would visit again as a treat

Food is awful. Zero flavour. Very disappointing. Won’t be back Toilet was dirty. Sink unclean, tap broken and a dirty towel to dry your hands with

Really delicious food and coffee with a well-stocked shop downstairs packed out with vegan treats. Such a lovely little place to visit.

We were there with the Triumph Stag owners club (Cornwall) a party of 9 with our cars. We were royally looked after with freshly cooked breakfast with lots of toast and teas with homemade sausages, fried eggs mushrooms hash browns and homemade marmalade and brown sauce “ , what a treat. Brilliant service from Anne and Howard , they really couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you both on behalf of us all . Looking forward to our next visit and no hesitation to recommend them.
