We were there with the Triumph Stag owners club (Cornwall) a party of 9 with our cars. We were royally looked after with freshly cooked breakfast with lots of toast and teas with homemade sausages, fried eggs mushrooms hash browns and homemade marmalade and brown sauce “ , what a treat. Brilliant service from Anne and Howard , they really couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you both on behalf of us all . Looking forward to our next visit and no hesitation to recommend them.

If I could have given a minus score I would have and echo the last few reviews for the poor service and high costs for what we got. I asked for toilet to be told it was closed unless I was absolutely desperate ( wouldn't have asked if I wasn't) told abruptly that I could use it as long as I didn't touch anything..... 😅 Keep driving folks, places like this shouldn't be trading.....

My son visited us for the day whilst we were on holiday. We decided to treat him for lunch as we had seen the sign for a ‘farm kitchen’. The only seating available was outside, not a problem as the weather was lovely and so was the view. The order was taken through a serving hatch and once the ‘food’ was ready we were called to collect it. The tea was served in cardboard cups, the sandwiches were placed in brown paper bags. This was not as we expected from a ‘Farm Kitchen’! For the price we paid we expected to have received our lunch placed on plates and mugs or cups used. The sandwiches were awful, no finery whatsoever. In my view the establishment should be fined under the Trade Description Act. This is NOT a Farm Kitchen. You would be better off buying your lunch from a roadside shack or by picking up pre-made sandwiches from a garage forecourt. Don’t waste your money.

We visited on the way back from St Mawes hoping for a wholesome lunch. We were greeted at the serving hatch by a lovely young lady who told us that someone would be with us shortly. This is where everything went downhill. An older woman came up, no greeting, asked us what we wanted. A number of menu items were not available and what we were served was overpriced and poor quality. Presentation was non existent and my cheese scone ploughman’s came on a thin paper plate inside a paper bag. The bacon in the roll was stringy and not what you would expect from a farm shop tearoom. We didn’t understand why they had opened as it was blatantly clear we wasn’t welcome.

We dropped in after visiting St Mawes because we wanted to experience a traditional Cornish cream tea in the countryside. When we went to order we were surprised that there was no option to sit inside. After ordering we asked if we could use the toilet and were told extremely abruptly only if it was an emergency. From the start to finish it felt as though they didn’t want us to be there. The food was literally thrown out of a hatch which you had to collect yourself. Everything was served in bags or cartons even though the price did not reflect this. The quality of the food overall was very poor: extremely basic sandwiches with grated cheese and sliced bread, quiche with salad very poor. The scones with jam were good but presented poorly in a cardboard box. Nobody came out of the cafe to speak to us at any point other than when they took our order. I don’t know if this is all Covid related but we felt totally unwelcome. We were really shocked at the lack of hospitality and rudeness.

We have visited Tregairewoon several years now, each time a superb experience. This year, we wanted a cream tea so pulled in but were met with a very abrupt reception from the lady / owner, who told us to go to the back hatch of the kitchen. We were told that as the weather was not pleasant, we couldn't eat in the tea room but could sit in the stables...an outdoor seating area they had created. As we were desperate for a cuppa and looking forward to scones, we agreed. To our shock, we were given takeaway style cups of very over strong tea, and a takeaway cream tea in a fish and chip box. It was very expensive and poor standrard. The lady was unwelcoming and we found our own way to the stables. These were literally just disused stables with a couple of tables and chairs. It was cold and unpleasant. We threw most of our food and drink away and left extremely disheartened. There were no toilets available. We would not return.

This is a place we have used many times over the years as it has developed from a more informal afternoon tea in a garden to the newer setup with a cafeteria kitchen style. We have been trying to support the smaller independents and after the KHF we thought it would be great to call in on our way back to the campsite. It was about 3pm so not so late, but there was a very limited choice of cakes, so we had both and they were excellent. It was nice to sit in the garden but the toilets were not open so we didn’t stay too long. As most eateries are now largely fully operational this place will hopefully also return to its pre Covid setup, with crockery and inside facilities.

We found this little gem last year and had to return. Lovely little tea room with such a friendly atmosphere. We went for breakfast and were not disappointed. It was delicious, well presented and hot. We also purchased some of the marmalade (which is painstakingly produced by the owner) as we did last year. I don't like marmalade but this is wonderful and is used in the tea room. We haven't had afternoon tea yet but have booked for Sunday lunch. Will definately be somewhere we visit every year when we are in Cornwall. Could not fault it. Thank you.

On the last day of our holiday camping in Portscatho my son and I thought we would treat ourselves to a breakfast, having worked hard to pack up ready for our trip home. I had seen the sign on the way back from St Mawes and was looking forward to a farm breakfast. We couldn't fault the location, service and the standard of the cafe but........... when the medium breakfast arrived, it really was very medium, a small plate, admittedly with what was described on the menu on it but in very small portions, the toast arrived 5 minutes after the breakfast. At ££8.50 a head including coffee (the ketchup was an extra £0.50) this was not good value for money in our opinion. I mention this constructively because we were the only people in the cafe, another couple came in and walked out whilst we were there, and when I asked the young lady who served us how business was, she said it could be better. Our suggestion is that you either improve the portion size or drop the price. My son an I went down to St Mawes drecktly afterwards and had a pasty and coffee to fill us up.

The location is certainly a farm, with the parking in the farmyard. Staff friendly, and directed us and our dog to the room separate from the kitchen. We ordered 2 sandwiches, beef and pork, and were unfortunately rather underwhelmed. We were expecting a ‘farmhouse’ type meal, hearty and wholesome, but got some average bread, a few slices of what looked like supermarket meat, a tiny sprinkle of salad and a few crisps. The price reflects the area, which means you don’t really get value for money. Wouldn’t go back.

The holiday home we were staying in buys their eggs and bacon from this great farm outside St Mawes, so when we saw they also did Sunday lunches from the road sign we recognised we thought let's give it a go...and very glad we did! The welcoming couldn't have been more friendly, the service was excellent (the young lady who served us was charming and nothing was too much trouble. No doubt she'll be missed enormously whilst at Uni). We were also able to take our dog, there's a large room just off the main dining area. As for the food...simply delicious! I mean, it's going to be when the produce is reared or grown on the farm itself. Definitely recommend, home cooking as it ought to be and excellent value for money too.

While we were waiting for our morning tea however we were greeted by the smell of freshly cooked bread which the owner was taking out of the aga. Enticed by the sign on the road we popped in for breakfast this morning about 10:30. The dining room had 9 tables? mostly laid out for four, plus an unoccupied wooden picnic style table outside. Seven of the tables were variously occupied when we arrived, we made eight. We were told that there might be a wait as they were 'very busy'. There were four members of staff. Food is prepared in an open kitchen easy for everyone to see what's going on.It took over ten minutes for our order to be taken, a further ten minutes for tea to be served (tea comes with breakfast, which we would have ordered anyway, but it might have been nice to have been asked if we preferred coffee, but I digress). When the food arrived after having been there for thirty five minutes, it was very freshly cooked. The portions were, er, 'modest'. Two rashers of bacon, a single sausage, a few sautéed potato slices and a few slice mushroom pieces. We also got toast - two slices cut in half between the two of us, two tabs of butter and some marmalade in a small ramekin - served about six minutes after the breakfastI have to say that the bacon & sausage were really lovely - produced from pigs reared on the farm it is said - but at £7.50 a plate, with the delay, the modest portion sizes, haphazard service and a great view from one window only I'm not sure we'll be revisiting on this trip to Cornwall. Shame as only a couple of minutes from where we're staying.

Visited here after reading positive reviews on trip advisor. Arriving at the end of the farm drive, it doesn't look especially inviting. In fact while we were there a car turned straight round and drove off! Persevere, it gets better.Inside, the tea room is lovely (it reminded me of the Great British Bake Off tent!). Being October, I assume the tables and chairs in the garden had been put away for winter but it was a lovely day and we had our 2 dogs with us. There was one bench out front though so we sat there. Our cream tea was delicious - melt in the mouth scones, very fresh and clearly home made jam which was scrum my. 'No problem' said Anne 'what time would you like it and what would you like?'. We collected it next day, delicious sandwiches on artisan bread, red onion and brie and ham and home made chutney. Home made scones with butter, napkins and paper plates all neatly packed and portable. Lovely to enjoy in the sunshine on the beach. The food is second to none. Thank you again Anne and her team.

A welcoming and friendly atmosphere, we definitely recommend this, the food tastes great. It is easy to get to by car with good parking, or an easy walk from Merrose Farm caravan club site along the bridle path (only 1 mile). They do the most wonderful breakfasts and other choices every Saturday from 10am-2pm then from 2pm - 5.30 cream teas, Sun cream teas 2-5.30pm, and the rest of the week (from 11-5.30 mom-fri) a great and varied menu of offerings. They even offer an evening take away meal, how good is that. All the food is cooked from fresh and either sourced from their own farm or local suppliers.

Wow what a find!Whilst visiting Cornwall over the last few weeks , we stumbled upon this little gem , and were so impressed that we visited three times for Brunch,a Cream tea and lunch .The setting is idyllic, the girls are so friendly ,nothing is too much trouble (how hard it must be to constantly smile when you're rushed off your feet !) and the food is divine . How lovely it was to sit and relax in such a wonderful setting. We'll be back with our four legged friend who was made to feel most welcome and loved it just as much as we did .Thank you.

We called in at Tregairewoon because we were looking for home-made scones, and we were not disappointed. Our hosts brought us absolutely delicious scones, straight out of the oven. The service was friendly and efficient, and the setting is idyllic, with lovely views over the Cornish countryside.

I can thoroughly recommend this place. We popped in whilst on holiday in the area. The tea room/farm kitchen is on a working farm with lovely views over the countryside. We had a cream tea with warm scones, very nice. If you are in the Roseland Peninsula area call in, you will not be disappointed. Also if you have a dog there is seating in the garden.

Having looked at the sign at the end of the farm track many times, not just this holiday but other previous years too (we visit the Roseland every year!) we finally visited Tregairewoon Farmhouse Kitchen - and we weren't disappointed! We went for breakfast yesterday, the last day of our holiday, and it was excellent. Really friendly service, delicious food and very good value. The farmhouse dining room is cheerfully decorated, and we realised later that there are also outside tables in a pretty garden to the rear. Also piglets and chickens in the nearby barn! Loved our visit, this will become one of our regular places from now on.

Had a delicious farmhouse breakfast, the owner's Saturday special. Bought some of her excellent chutney and peeped at the nine spotty piglets in the barn.

Tucked away down a farm track, this jewel of a tearoom must be visited! We have been twice in the last 3 days and will be eating there again before leaving the Roseland Peninsula. Annie and her team are friendly and welcoming and the homemade food is excellent. We had homemade soup for lunch and a fantastic breakfast- home reared bacon and sausages. It is worth noting that you can also buy a range of delicious ready made meals by Annie to take home. We are looking forward to a cream tea in the lovely setting of the farm with views across the valley.

We so enjoyed our beautifully presented and very delicious cream tea here. After a hilly cycle ride we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of service & food - it was faultless! (I'm pretty discerning when it comes to food). Also it was great to have the choice of a mini cream tea. They were both very personable & we enjoyed the chat. The tea room and gardens are beautifully out together and nice to have a local weavers' wares for sale too. The standard all round was high and the price very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting again next time.

Walking along the road we saw the sign and ventured down the long lane to the farm. Tea rooms are newly built and very clean. Sat in the sheltered garden and a cream tea arrived in minutes.Scones fresh and perfect with Rhoddas clotted cream. I am allergic to strawberry s and was brought kea plum jam instead. In short the cream tea was faultless; we even had extra hot water without asking. Something that posh hotels can't get right. If you want a cream tea in Cornwall then this is the place.

We spotted Tregairewoon Farm Kitchen when last on holiday in Portscatho and enjoyed the cream tea we had then (despite the rain) and made a bee line for there this time we were visiting. It did not disappoint. They have a new kitchen/cafe building so no more teas in the rain, even for us hardy souls, but this visit was on a hot day so we sat in the very pretty garden. Lovely vintage china, wonderful cream tea, gorgeous setting. We'll be back there on our next trip to the area!

If you happen to find yourself near Trewithian on the road between Tregony and St. Mawes make certain that you stop here for a cream tea that will not disappoint. Everything about it was delicious. In fact, the whole experience was thoroughly pleasurable. I must mention that absolutely vitally to anyone with a food allergy, Tregairewoon Farm Kitchen can both guarantee the ingredients of their home-made products and that their premises are sterile prior to food preparation.

Had a delicious Cream Tea today here! The two ladies Ann (owner) and Jill very friendly. It was nearly closing time when we got there and we were greeted like old friends. We'd been a few weeks earlier and said we'd be back. They said that they were wondering if my Mum was ok! (She's broken her leg and is in a home in nearby Portscatho!) We reassured them that she was fine. Two delicious scones and delicious jam with Roddas Cream! YUM!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

Absolutely amazing day spent at The Sharksfin for our daughter's wedding last Saturday. Wow! What a venue! From start to finish everything was wonderful. Great service with happy staff who were enjoying looking after us and wanted to make the day special. The canapes were gorgeous and main meal truly excellent. The Chefs worked their socks off. Would highly recommend. Thank you to Lisa and her whole team. You were fantastic! We will be back for a roast very soon 🙂!

Poor service and virtually no vegan/vegetarian options. Asked for a veggie burger which was on the menu, they didn't have any. Asked what else was vegan, they didn't know. Service was very slow and all front of house seemed uninterested and more keen to huddle round the bar chatting. One waitress was particularly rude, I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend. Lots of much friendlier places in Falmouth.
