Had another lovely stay at the Madhatters tearoom. Great food and accommodation. Pauline and Mark are lovely people and always make you feel welcome. Set off for early start home and Pauline supplied lovely sandwiches and cakes. The weather was beautiful even after a stormy start on Saturday it turned out well. Will look forward to visiting again. Thankyou Pauline and Mark. X👍

Great place. Not stayed overnight but those that do are happy with the place. Would recommend. Friendly staff. Make you feel at home.

Visited Saturday (3rd May 2025 )Bank Holiday between 10-11am. Friendly service from both members of staff, maybe another member of staff scheduled would have helped. Very busy with queue nearly out of the door, waited just under 10 minutes to be served. Card only payments. Alot of the food options were out of stock, so I just purchased a drink. Lots of customers are sitting inside and a few feeding the seagulls outside - might need to put signs on the tables asking them not too - before it becomes a bigger problem.

Visited a few weeks ago for a Saturday night after leaving another pub, which was just too quiet and unpleasant to stay at and actually at the Copper House Inn, came across live music, which was great by the way! It was a busy night, but the bar staff hasn't let anyone waiting, brilliant service. Heard from other visitors they do tasty carvery, but haven't yet tried. Will visit again.

all positive here! there are copious choices on the menu which is always great to see. the food is also tasty and quite clearly made freshly. i'm in love with the interior as it is very spacious & there are plenty of tables and chairs. the staff are super polite and friendly so we are really grateful for that☺️

What a great place..2 hours on the beach with the dog. A nice refreshing pint and sandwich before the drive to Lands end. Good food and staff. A great place to go to

My family and I have always had superb meals at The Bucket of Blood and ieven had my birthday meal with my family there last summer. Haven't been able to return there until last week. Subsequently we were going there expecting really nice food as it is also such a nice pub in itself. When I saw the menu I was shocked as it was mainly sandwiches with the only hot meals being fish pie with a salad, scampi or halumi ciabatta. The halumi was like tough rubber and the scampi felt like just a plate full of frozen food heated up. It felt like the chef had gone ill and staff had to make do. If this is the new norm as far as food is concerned, you're really missing the point and will cause lots more like ourselves to avoid going back there. If there was something wrong which caused a possible reduced menu, then it would have been good to have let us know. Thing is, our elderly mum was so looking forward to going back there due to our brilliant past experiences, that we didn't have the heart to pull out and so tolerated the dreadful choice and the food that arrived. I would put the quality of their pub food on par with that of The Pandora down on The Helford. But what we had last week was pretty shocking in terms of choice and quality. I sincerely hope it improves.

LADY WHO SERVED ME WAS ATTENTIVE AN FRIENDLY BUT FROM THERE IT WAS DOWN HILL, ORDER RUMP STEAK WHICH WAS BADLY BUTCHERD AND GRISTLY , ALSO MUSHY PEAS WAS MASHED FROZEN GARDEN PEAS, 😳 ALL IN ALL END OF SEASON DISAPPOINTMENT

((£10.20)) for kebab nowadays. But massive portion, nice donner meat not to greasy or dryed out, nice fresh salad, Nice crispy chips, Very clean everybody had gloves on 5 star hygiene. Nothing to complain about really.

Came to the copper house with our family for breakfast, food was very reasonable priced and really good value for money. Really good customer service from the lady behind the bar food was nice and quick and we all left full. Will be back for sure 👌
