Popped in for a quick bite to eat. The dirty fries were amazing for less than £6. Jane the barmaid is fab.

Had a long drive from the northeast I needed a good meal and was recommended to try the coppers house I was not disappointed great food the mixed grill was cooked to perfection. The staff was so helpful and polite I would definitely recommend this the copper house .10/10

Super friendly and attentive bartenders Dog friendly as well, which was one of the reasons we visited. Food was 10/10, we had chicken wings, fish and chips, mixed grill and pizzas! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing Went for a quiet meal for my birthday dinner, and was not disappointed! The food was amazing, service was so so great, everyone was willing to help and quick with extra requests They even brought a small cake out for my birthday! which tasted great too!

Ordered fish and chips,chips come with some sort of seasonings but not told what,the fish was undercooked and batter still raw,chips were disgusting,but before we could even start eating had to clean our cutlery,it was absolutely filthy,could not get a drink of choice as they don't sell any,so I asked for a glass of water. I was served water with more ice cubes than water and almost a whole lemon cut up into it. I was not asked if I wanted the lemon or ice. I would defo not eat there again at 13.95 for raw undercooked food outraged and discusted hello we are in the middle of cost of living crisis I feel ripped right of. St austell brewery strikes again....also the chairs and bench seats were absolutely filthy black and in need of a dam good upholstery cleaning it's very off putting I didn't want to stay there but my partner was hungry. Also no locks on toilet doors in the mens,seats all broken and hanging of and no loo roll all round I would have given no stars but that's not available option

We popped in on mothering Sunday after a trip to St ives for a bite to eat and a drink.bar staff and servers were very accommodating despite very busy finding us a table.

Having moved to Hayle fairly recently we decided to try out the pub at the bottom of the road for a Sunday roast and while I was sceptical about it prior to going , we definitely left impressed! the food was amazing and beautifully presented! The staff were lovely, friendly and really accommodating! The pub has a nice, friendly and comfortable atmosphere and I’m sure we shall be returning very soon! Great job guys think we’ve just found our new local 🥰

Busy pub atmosphere, nice friendly welcome, we had starters which breaded brie wedges and squid both were really good, then 3 of us had roasts. Beef gammon and pork available, Not the biggest portions even though I had a large roast but very tasty, especially the cauliflower cheese. My son had burger and chips adult size and I was very impressed with this loads of chips and a big portion of chips overall very satisfied and good value for money Will definitely go again

Lovely pub ,nice atmosphere and staff good music,a nice mix of young and old customers who seem to mix well .On weekends evenings you may be lucky or unlucky (depending what frame of mind your in )to catch the odd bar brawl,with too much alcohol and over inflated egos and wanting to be the next best mma fighter up there with John Jones Bones ,but that's just about every pub up and down the country on a weekend 😉

Went for Sunday dinner, it's half price food to the end of march, so can't really moan about it, could have been a bit warmer and a little bit bigger, but as I said it's a £5 roast, I enjoyed it. Will try again

Any review has to take into account value for money. This Sunday Lunch deserved 5 stars for that but the quality was lacking . Lots of different veg all badly cooked , pork was fine , Yorkshire was awful . Overall it’s still a 4 star and worth a visit , delighted to see how busy it was in mid winter full of locals , a pub that works with the community.

Ok evening with good music but kicked out early when fight broke out.

Nice pub but fet like it was a bit clicky as didn't feel welcome and the price of a bottle of Fanta almost made me pass out £3.80 a bottle 🤔

Callled in with my wife and dog for food and a drink. Pleasant bar area with TVs showing the football. Ordered a starter and 2 mains. The starter turned up undercooked so I took it back. The staff dealt with my complaint really well and replaced the starter. The mains were served and tasted great. Would happily return when in the area.

Stopped here for food as we were on holiday in Hayle. To be fair , wish we hadn't. Food was awful , We had the rump steak and fish and chips. The fish was more batter than fish and the chips were greasy. The steak was covered in oil and the onion rings were the size of rubber rings. There was that much batter on them. Guiness was served in a cider glass. I wouldnt bother visiting if on holiday in Hayle.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday. Unfortunately the roasts were finished but it was late. Had pizza instead which was ok. Beer very well kept and service friendly.

Nice atmosphere early evening on a Sunday. Old Rosie and a coke over £9.50, you make your mind up on that. Limited choice of food in the evening on a Sunday, Pate, £6.50, again your choice.

We was a party of 10 people and was originally booked in at another pub which was unfortunately cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. The Copperhouse Inn was able to accommodate us as walk ins and we thought great. On arrival the staff was welcoming but unfortunately our experience went down hill from that point. Once ordering food we was told there would be a wait which again was understandable but whilst ordering food the barmaid although we was stood (4 of us) waiting go order kept going to serve people that had came to the bar after us so was stood there for some time. Again thought oh well, my brother and sister in laws food came then my nephews very burnt burger came. After some time 40 mins my the se more food came but was clear there was struggles as the barmaid who served us walked out, says it all!. Half of our party who had eaten their food decided that they would take their child back as we was still waiting. After they went there food order came out again! Still ours was no where to be seen. Myself and my sons came after well over hour and whilst he was eating his chicken wings I noticed they was very pink on inspection then bone was pink fine but the meat was very pink/red amd clearly just needed a little longer, I spoke to the barmaid who told me that the chef said the bone was meant to be pink I again pointed out that the meat was also pink no solution was offered. I asked how long my husbands and daughters food would be and had to remind another barmaid of their order! Again after a further 10 minutes there's arrived my Husbands pie was cold in the middle and my daughter couldn't eat her pizza. At this point we didn't bother to say anything because what was the point to be met with "the chef says attitude"! The meal cost alot of money and we had to spend further money to feed our daughter else where. The table sat at the side of us a family of four recieved three meals and again after they had finished received there final one with their children becoming clearly unsettle. My advice if your a large party don't bother. Highly recommend The Union Inn in St Ives food was outstanding and although our party ordered separately we ate together and service was excellent.

Service was very slow and disorganised. One member of staff walked-out and they had to ask for assistance from a punter! Our chicken arrived undercooked and bloody and when we brought it to their attention, we were told it's supposed to look like that... Never in my life have I eaten or seen chicken served bloody. Our pie arrived cold and steak wasn't cooked as requested. I myself had a burger and that was fine however most of our party couldn't finish their meals and we had to go elsewhere afterwards. My family and I aren't fussy at all, but this was really a poor experience and I wouldn't recommend this place for food to anybody. A real shame because the interior was nice and comfortable, the chef and lack of service staff available let them down

Played a gig there Saturday night. We were looked after very well by the staff, people loved the music and danced. Music fest next door with bands all day but the pub remained reasonably packed all night. Food looks great and people cleared their plates, although we didn't try it ourselves. The atmosphere got a bit lairy very late on, but that's Hayle after a night on the sauce. All in all, a great night. 👍

A little dark but a good atmosphere

This is probably the worst food I have been served in the last 12 months, the staff are friendly and apologetic but the food served is not acceptable, the chips were flat cold, the mac and cheese was congieled and must have been sat under a hot plate for at least 10 minutes. The burger was the only thing served at an acceptable temperature, our friends sent back a rack of rib due to food temperature! The staff apologised for them being understaffed but this is not appropriate for the prices we paid!

Well that was fantastic, ribs burger and dirty fried all great. Ale also great. Would highly recommend 👍

We were so looking forward to returning here. We visited it many times quite a few years ago now. Are used to do lovely home-cooked pies, lasagne, cottage, pie, et cetera. There wasn’t much choice on today’s menu unless you were after a burger. The place has really gone downhill. Horrid meal. I chose fish and chips. Batter was peppery and the fish undercooked and wet in the middle which meant that the batter went soggy. The chips were underwhelming. Garden peas were nice. it came with a jug of curry sauce, which I wasn’t particularly bothered with but thought I’d try a little bit. However, it was like water. Music good, but they had it on too loud. Ladies toilets were disgusting… two were too awful to use and the third had a wonky door that wouldn’t lock. We return back to the car where I smothered my hands with hand gel! We won’t be returning again. What a shame!

We attended a christening party, loads of the adults desired to have the roast at a cost of £7.95 but we were told that "The christening guests" were only allowed to have BBQ which consisted of 'hotdog', 'burger' and some salad, new potatoes. With the cost of £5 for a burger or hotdog, £10 for either with salad or both BBQ options with salad. We live fairly close to London & Brighton and don't pay prices like that! Our table of 8 people could not justify paying £80 for a burger, sausage and some salad each.

Ordered burger unfortunately that was the saddest looking and tasting burger I ever had. Huge size, sloppy white bun not toasted but the biggest twist was no sauce in the burgers. Just bun, patty,tomato and cucumber! Upon asking the server said I gave you ketchup and Mayo in the condiments box. I was like okk.. so kind of you I will make my own burger sauce no problem. Overall good atmosphere but bad food also the portions are unnecessarily huge.

Went for food there as it had good reviews,the barstaff blatantly ignored us for 5 minutes before acknowledging we were there, ordered steak burger and jack Daniel s ribs. When it arrived it looked good, unfortunately that was as good as it got!The vultures had already picked over the ribs as all that was left was bone and gristle with a dollop of overpowering sauce on the top. My burger could have doubled as a throwing weapon, it was as hard as a coffin nail, even the dog under the next table backed away and growled when i offered him some. The corn on the cob was also luke warm and full of water when bitten into, The chips were ok though ;-) , i would have complained but they couldn't locate the manager????best advice is spend your hard earned money where you will enjoy it and where the establishment appreciate the customers. AVOID........................

honestly for an average pub the food was great, i’d love to come back even though it’s quite the distance. couldn’t fault it if i tried. we went just for a quick meal but left very pleased as our expectations were much lower.

Unfortunately I can't give a bigger star than this. We came in for a valentines night meal and we were very disappointed. My husband had the chicken burger and I had the steak burger meal, we literally struggled to eat the burger as the bun just fell to bits, it was so dry that it was almost stale. Nobody asked us if everything was OK with the meal. Quite disappointed to be honest and I would have flagged this up if anybody would have actually checked that everything was OK. What makes it worse is that the pub was almost empty so there was no reason that somebody couldn't have come to our table to check everything was OK. Really poor customer service. We have eaten here on numerous occasions as we are local but tonight they got it wrong

We went to the Copperhouse Inn on a Monday lunch time looking for some lunch. We walked in, there was 6 people in the place, the woman behind the bar did not acknowledge us at all. We walked to the left where it looked like she was pouring a pint, still NO acknowledgment of us. As living in Hayle for 50 years I won't be going back. If you cannot acknowledge a person coming into you establishment, then in my view they don't want the custom. Such a shame.

Nice and tidy in the bar .beer was good .but really cold could only stay for a couple had too go home to warm up . wife complained the ladies toilets were in need of updating door wouldn't lock water leaking from cistern. it's a shame small things can ruin your visit

Lots of swearing from one loud man.. he ruined the football i was watching with my parents.. my mum constantly moaned about the f word be used every other word very loudly.. i know its a pub, but not so loud with others who want to enjoy the place to.

Booked in for Sunday teatime on Easter Sunday. Seated quickly once we got a chance to speak to bar staff, and then meals were served quickly after we ordered. We had the roast beef dinner, and the beef was cooked to perfection. I'm not normally a fan of beef, but didn't fancy the 1/2 chicken and having to faff about with bones, and it was a decision I don't regret!

After driving around looking at Christmas lights in the villages decided to have a meal out . Knew there was a 50% off the menu . I had theSteakburger , best since I was in the U.S.A. and the freshly made coleslaw was supreb. Told the Chef (Craig )who very humble and pleased . Will come again

Such a great pub, only wish we lived closer so we could pop in for an evening drink. Lunch today was very tasty, cooked to perfection and ample quantity. Excellent food. Reasonably priced the best of times, but added bonus today to get 50% off!! Offer is running until 2nd January, so definitely recommend to stop by, grab a bargain and fill your bellies. Friendly staff, and a hello and thank you to Curtis for a friendly courteous service. We will definitely be back before 2nd January!!
