My father is Cornish and he used to cycle down to Warren's and buy warm Saffron buns on a Saturday morning and they would keep him going most of the day. I drove there early one Saturday morning as I had to drive back to Kent. Well worth going there for pasties and sweet treats. Or even just to get some Fairings and hevva cake. I got my mother in law a stunning tin with a picture of St. Michael's Mount at sunset and she loves it!

I had all but given up on Cornish pasties, having ate them in other places not in Cornwall. I decided to give them a shot while in the region and was again disappointed by Philp’s. Warren’s gave me hope for pasties. The one I had here was better than any I’ve had anywhere else, locally or not.

Walked straight out as got bellowed at by the only staff member in there a very scary women.(i only wanted a loaf of bread) "only one person allowed in shop at a time!" I am very well aware of rules and restrictions relating to current goverment rules and followed them religiously (one of a few) whilst on holiday in the south west and when i do have a moments lapse, additionally, i could not see the other customer in the shop. Staff all over the south west have been very polite and said could you please wait outside and i always appologise. TOP TIP! if you need to go to this chain go to another. Never had a problem at any other of these shops i visited this summer.

Stayed in Hayle for couple of days on businesses. Called in to pick up coffee and a bun and pasty for quick eats for the two days. Pleasant lady on duty, quick service. Food and drink was good.

Been coming to the GL for last 8 years whilst holidaying. Its a lovely, local pub with great views. Been recently taken over, bit smarter now, good beers and bar offering and it is worth a visit. BUT

the only place open on a Sunday on St Martins! So glad it was open, it was absolutely heaving but we got there in time to get seats and what was left of the cakes and drinks.

Fantastic find on our day trip to Bude. My husband had a delicious gluten free breakfast (finding somewhere good that's gluten free isn't always easy) and I enjoyed the American pancakes & a cappuccin

Very welcoming, Great ice cream flavours. Especially the Ferrero Roche and Millionaires shortbread. Lady went above and beyond for our dog letting her sit in the shade on a 25 degree day to enjoy her
