Visited on 23 May 2025 for dinner. Had an amazing experience, and the service from Gigi was exceptional! 🤩 Wouldn’t have believed that it was her first shift. She was warm, friendly, efficient and served with a smile! Everything you could ask for - and the food was great as always! We ordered chicken pho and chicken curry, with a fresh juice and spicy lemonade. Thanks Gigi! 😇

It was a great atmosphere and the servers and food were impeccable.

Came into the alchemist on the Thursday evening with my two daughters, the atmosphere was lively, our server Matt went above and beyond. So attentive, charming and handsome. Food was amazing, will definitely be returning soon!

The salt & pepper squid, gyoza, and roast duck with rice was absolutely incredible. 100% would recommend and will definitely be returning!

Stayed here several times. Rooms are normally great, however the showers could be improved, walk in showers rather than bath showers would be more appropriate for premier plus rooms. Overall a good experience, however my main gripe is the fact that this hotel is ALWAYS boiling hot, you can’t turn the air con down below 17’C and the windows don’t open, not even a crack. This is extremely off putting especially coming into the summer months. Staff overall friendly and pleasant, offering a welcoming experience. Great location too. Would like to know how much longer that scaffolding will be up for, it was there when we stayed 6 months ago!

Such a welcoming atmosphere and really accommodating staff. We were served by Banky who greeted us with a smile and was extremely nice, giving us the time we needed to order. Even when our refillable drinks got low, he took them himself to refill. The 10oz steak was cooked perfectly, you could tell steak is this companies strong suit. Would highly recommend and will be coming back again.

Such a cool place with good food and really good prices! We went on a Saturday night but were quite sad that the place was empty! We came in just before 8pm and there were hardly any people in and shortly after we were the only ones. I think more people should know about this place! The decor is super quirky, staff were very friendly and food was actually nice. Definitely recommend their blue cheese chicken burger. Also, the cocktails are really good! And they’re 2 for £12 😍

Great beer selection and atmosphere.

This place has an amazing atmosphere, with awesome staff that cannot do enough for us. This is our venue for #CheltenhamBuzz and the staff welcome all visitors with a smile, mingle in the group and organise drinks - and remember who ordered what even if that person has moved since the order was taken! The staff are so friendly - We cannot rate them highly enough. The Greenhouse area is stunning with its green wall, the perfect place for a photo! We look forward to our visit!
