One of only two restaurants in Cheltenham, that can cater for coeliacs/gluten free safely. Gorgeous food, wonderful staff. Thank you always for your care, consideration, customer service and delicious food.

Bad food, low quality, very oily. Very expensive, no justification for the price for the low quality. I would not eat at this place again.

Chlo was very friendly and took care of me and my family, great food and atmosphere, fab way to end the year!

This was a really good place to eat for lunch. Filled my stomach up and I wasn't hungry anymore. Food was amazing! Drinks were fabulous and had an amazing taste. I would really recommend the halloumi fries. Great restaurant!

Came here for a work dinner and loved it! The food was incredible and all the vegetarian options sounded great 😊 The Christmas vibe was in full swing as well and the music choices were top notch 👌

I ate here on Saturday night, the restaurant was busy but they managed to find me a table which I was grateful for. I had a chicken burger with fries, the food was delicious with generous sized portions. Highly recommend this place, will be back.

Arrived, mob handed, for lunch. Met by Mr. Friendly Bloke and taken to our table. Presented with an extensive menu, which includes a comprehensive selection of munchies for gluten-free peeps. The food arrived in a timely fashion, well prepared and, more importantly, delicious. If you're planning a trip to Hub Box you won't be disappointed 😉.

Very underwhelmed. Ordered chicken tenders, tater tots and a burger. The tenders garlic and parmesan where very bland. The Tater tots where soggy and not very crispy. The tables also felt very close together aswell. Being between two tables felt a little claustrophobic. The service and staff where very very good. Couldn't fault them at all. And the milkshakes are very tasty just a shame about the rest. Won't be coming back I'm afraid

SUCH a must if you're coeliac or gluten free - everything on the menu is GF aside from the normal burger buns and a handful of other things. They have gluten free buttermilk fried chicken, gluten free milkshakes, cheesecake, gluten free onion rings - and it's all delicious! I can't believe I haven't heard of this place before on social media from other coeliacs. Staff were lovely and very reassuring about my being coeliac and that all the food was gluten free. It was delicious and I will absolutely be going back, regularly. Coeliacs, don't bother going anywhere else.

Ordered food at half 7, didn’t turn up till 9, when arrived food was lukewarm had to warm it in the mircowave. Tasted ok but we live 5 mins walk from the restaurant, however collection wasn’t an option, so we didn’t know why it took so long or why we couldn’t just collect

Food was ok, kind of over done. Drinks kept flowing from Uzmah as required and the atmosphere was great!

It was good. I thought the burger was good but a couple of guys with us thought it was a little greasy. Reasonable for the high end burger chain part of the market.

When we got our food late the portion size was poor and half of our meal was missing I got food instead of cooking and this doesn't feed us even half full mind half the order was missing no milkshakes.

I came in with my grandparents and younger brothers. My grandma said how delicious the bacon double was and one of my brothers was amazed by the BBQ sauce, said he wished he could take a bottle home with him.

Fantastic food! Me and my dad had the double cheese burger and the buttermilk chicken burger and honestly blew us away. Service was fast and friendly. I’d like to thank Michael for helping us out and being a very understanding person. Top marks from me. Great place.

We've been here several times and always found it friendly with good food. Unfortunately this time we found the waitress very cold and unwelcoming, and the food average, the burger was dripping in fat , so much so the whole brioche roll was saturated with fat. The drinks and fries lovely though. Won't be rushing back Unfortunately

Really tasty food that was delivered quickly. The only negative is that the portion size of the nachos seems to have become much smaller recently - in several previous orders the portion of nachos was split across 2 foil takeaway containers that were both 3/4 full, but in this order I received only 1 container that was 3/4 full so the portion size is now half of what it used to be, but for the same price and much less than I would’ve received if I’d gone to the restaurant to eat in.

Lidia was my waitress, she did a fantastic job throughout my experience. 10/10 from start to finish. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE!

Best burgers, friendly staff and top service

The food is stunning, I had one of their chicken burgers, and they are so tasty and tender. So many options too. The staff are friendly and quick service as well. The strawberry cooler drink is super refreshing and a great alternative to a cocktail if you don't drink.

I recently dined at Hub Box and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. Special mention goes to our waitress, Jess, who was exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her service truly enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend Hub Box for both the food and the excellent service!

When me and my family went to find at book hub, the waiters were really rude and did not listen to us when we ordered ( it took 10 minutes just to order drinks). It was chaos and we were really bored waiting for the burgers and milkshakes.But the chips are kinda cheesy and nice so I won’t give it one star.

Another day, another burger place. It’s not terrible, but there are better options in town. The staff were friendly and the milkshakes were tasty, everything else was okay, but not good enough for us to go back.

Great meal out at Hub Box tonight. Totally recommend the cheeseburger and Brie chicken burger with waffle fries. Our waiter Jamie was brilliant too.

To start with everyone enjoyed the food and it was very generous portions. Downsides service was so slow, and we waited so long after,we had finished, for the bill. In the end, I went to the counter to pay, as even though they said the card machine was coming, it never did. Also price. This is an expensive place. 6.25 for sweet potato fries just seems excessive. I can see 12 quid for a burger as the quality is good. Also the actual restaurant is boiling hot and it's really uncomfortable. Mixed with the slow service, it was actually really stressful. Maybe get some ventilation?

Wow! We visited this evening to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday with some of her friends. The food was lovely, the restaurant had a fab atmosphere and the staff were beyond brilliant. We literally couldn't have asked for better service!! Would absolutely recommend. Thank you Hub Box for going above and beyond and making my daughter's birthday really special. We will be back!!

Incredible food and fantastic atmosphere.

Our experience at Hub Box was a mixed bag. Despite the promising reviews we had read, the reality was quite different. While the food itself was decent, the service left much to be desired. Upon finishing our meal, we waited for what felt like an eternity before anyone noticed our empty plates. It was only after a significant delay that we were able to flag down a server to request the bill. Disappointingly, even our attempts to settle the bill were met with frustration. When we approached what seemed to be the manager, they appeared disinterested and left the receipt on the table before abruptly walking away, leaving us without the chance to inquire about the card machine. As first-time visitors, we had hoped for a more positive experience. However, the lack of attentiveness from the staff made it difficult to fully enjoy our meal. Hopefully, Hub Box takes these critiques to heart and works towards improving their service standards for future patrons.

Burgers were swimming in grease, mother clucker fries had next to no sauce & very little chicken

Very quick service with generous portion sizes. Staff were more than happy to make adjustments to items as requested. I recommend the Nachos, Defiantly big enough to share.

If I could rate this place zero stars, I would! We ate here on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime. There weren't many people eating but the service was slow as the restaurant seemed very short staffed. We were ignored for the duration of our meal, not once were we asked if the food was ok or if we needed anything but they still added a 10% service charge to the bill! Had I realised, I would have asked for it to be removed. I wouldn't eat here again. Over priced with zero ambience and I assume it was the manager who took us to our table who was patronising, rude and unhelpful.

Undercooked burger, I mean I don’t mind pink but this was rare as. Got given Vegan Chicken, even though I didn’t order it, but told I did. Added 10% gratuity even though they did not ask. Just go elsewhere.

Was not asked about dietary issues, And even tho food was good the services was awful, At one point as we were discussing our problems the waitress walked away, The manager was very apologetic and did take drinks off the bill but then on looking over it we were paying £14 for onion rings, we only ordered 1 plate, Then desserts were mixed up and to top it off as eating them we were asked if we wanted to pay. On walking out a few of the young staff then stood making comments and laughing as we walked out, Definitely will not be going back,

Went for a family gathering of 8 and with each order of drinks/mains/desert there were issues every time. The general staff weren't very helpful or apologetic with either of the issues and kept passing the blame. The manager was the only helpful person and he went out of his way to make things right. Generally speaking everyone enjoyed their food and had no complaints. After a hour of leaving both myself and my girlfriend were suffering with a bad stomach

Came here for a weekday lunch and ordered a vegan burger from their lunch menu and was served a halloumi burger instead. The staff were apologetic and replaced my burger but it seemed like it had been rushed and was very dry and quite disappointing, certainly not worth price!

Came out on March the 1st with our 2 kids. Food was lovely & great service from Chloe, who interacted with our children in such a lovely manor. Only thing that let it down was the young blond lady walking around chewing gum with her mouth open. It was a little off putting.

Having spent hundreds of pounds I think It’s unfair to rate Hubbox low, as food has always been great. Unfortunately on quite a few occasions, the (possible) manager the “silver fox” earns a 1 star. An uninviting, rude, obnoxious and inattentive host. I think the best way to describe him is CBA. Reading through these reviews I am glad it’s not just me who feels this way. Hubbox and Cheltenham deserve better. Take some harsh advice and try to crack a smile once in a while. Cannot fault the rest of the bar or kitchen staff just the one sounds like “bunt”.

We have food from Hubbox regularly since it opened. It has great options for meaties, veggies and kiddies. We've had dinner here, lunch, order for take out and click and collect. Service is ways really good, they have good knowledge and attend to diners well. The food is well priced for the filling nature of it and the quality time after time.

Loved their burgers but won’t be ordering/going again. Mixed up of stickers of our order ended up giving my child with gluten intolerance awful symptoms, as his gluten free burger was labelled as my order, and mine was labelled to be kids gf one. I was told to get refund I have to go through Uber Eats, they said there’s nothing they can do. Such a shame they don’t take allergies and intolerances seriously.

Went for a hot dog but had run out .. a real shame . Chose chicken bits instead. Served with a weird pale white sauce. My dinning partner had a better experience with burger and cheesy chips!

Lovely food, amazing vegan options. One weird comment about my friends meal asking "what have you done to it! There's nothing left" because she has a lot of intolerances so has to take a lot of the toppings out and change to a gluten free bun (which they did with no problem at all) other than that great atmosphere, lovely staff. Server spoke to us in a moody tone when we didn't want to pay the 'optional' service charge which they automatically put on the bill. Explained that we don't pay when it's forced upon us, and she snapped at us and rolled her eyes. Definitely not getting a tip with that attitude!

No matter how good the food, the beer or the atmosphere, if it's packaged with friendly and engaging staff, it's just that much better Dan and Will I Hope I got that right) were just great!

Cheltenom-noms... Dragged here by a friend i was visiting, it was just up my street as I'm a connoisseur of this sort of food by now. Service was non stop friendly but our initial waitress bummed our order so I ended up with doubles of the wrong item and we nearly ended up with an extra surplus main, all round though, staff and management were visible, present and attentive, but most importantly, very friendly. But the food was glorious. This is the best fried chicken I've had in a chain anywhere, he chicken was moist but firm, the batter was light, crispy and dry, nothing was soggy with oil. There's something extra going on in that batter, almost has a "frazzles" flavour profile. I got the wrong dressing but it was a revelation in terms of chicken. The burger (think I had an all star) came pink as standard, full marks, it was perfect, the dressings were balanced and it tasted superb, everything that should be there was there. I often say the chain 7bone do the best burger I've had in the uk since the 80s, I've said the same about their chicken, but I have to say, hub box steal the crown, at least regarding the chicken, burger wise,they edge up just in front of flavour trailer but are just behind 7bone. The loaded fries were good, but too much sauce not enough roughage in top, the sauce makes everything cold quicker, more chunky stuff please. The venue itself is bright and lively, lots of air above your head which helps with this sort of heavy food, if its too dark, cramped or warm, claustrophobia and meatsweats await. All in all, deeply impressed, lamenting there isn't an outlet near me!

Really nice restaurant / pub on the edge of the Brewery Quarter. All the food was or looked appetizing and there was a great selection of booze on tap. Even better was that a lot of the beer was brewed in house. The staff were excellent and knowledge. Furthermore, the decor was very attractive and made for a great atmosphere.

Good fun, warm and cosy on a cold night, kids loved it, great customer service, and it wasn't mega expensive...

Exceptional food and service! The team were incredibly accommodating with our enormous party; despite our large number, all the drinks and food arrived together and it was absolutely delicious. Millie was outstanding with us - a real asset to the company.

Constantly asked by waitress did we want a dessert or drinks. While we had food in front of us and a full drink. Felt like we couldn’t relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Place was not full so can’t see why they rushed us. Won’t be back!

We had an excellent evening here. We were greeted at the door as soon as we walked in even though the server was busy sorting drinks. We were served quickly and the food was delicious. With two small children going out can be stressful but this was a great experience.
