Pho in Cheltenham

Visited on 23 May 2025 for dinner. Had an amazing experience, and the service from Gigi was exceptional! 🤩 Wouldn’t have believed that it was her first shift. She was warm, friendly, efficient and served with a smile! Everything you could ask for - and the food was great as always! We ordered chicken pho and chicken curry, with a fresh juice and spicy lemonade. Thanks Gigi! 😇

Lovely starters . Main tasty but beef in the dish inedible, very very tough , couldn’t eat any of it .

Popped in for some lunch and was blown away by the Food and service. Very authentic Vietnamese food complemented by great staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The manager was exceptionally good and took great care of us. Highly recommend and will be visiting again very soon.

Alex made us very welcome, the resraurant was short staffed but he kept us informed of any delays and gave us very personal sevice. One of our party had a birthday and Alex made this a special visit.

Food is delicious, fast but it is better if more attentive on the service.

The food was good, but as soon as we walked in, we were told we only had an hour before they closed by the manager. That slightly put us off going in. But the rest of the team was warm and friendly.

Came into pho today and I was amazed by how friendly the staff was and how good the food was. I’m new around here and they made me feel very welcome, gab dearly me promptly and my food came quick, he checked up on me too which was nice ! 10/10 place would totally recommend it

Food was better than expected having come back from holiday in Vietnam recently I wasn’t expecting it to taste so authentic but they’ve manage to pull it out the bag. The staff were really friendly and were happy to help out when we had a few questions about the menu.

Great experience!! Came here for a date and it was fabulous 🤩 the starters were very large- we left with two bags of leftovers to enjoy later so definitely worth the money. The great Vietnamese coffee afterwards, paired with a smoke in their front seating area, was the cherry on top! Celebrated Mother's day with a fab meal (gluten-free and dairy free), the staff were lovely and a gift of a bonus bottle of wine too! Easily recommend Pho Cheltenham.

We called into Cheltenham Pho to celebrate a birthday and try something other than humdrum burgers or inexplicably popular chicken places, and we were all thrilled we did. Thankfully Jordan was on hand to guide us through the unfamiliar food on the menu. After taking his advice we were treated to crisp tasty starters and excellent mains. Piping hot and loaded with fresh ingredients, it was more of an enjoyable dining experience than just dinner. Our host, Jordan, was friendly, informative and could not have been more welcoming. When it was time to settle the bill, I was extremely pleased and would have been happy to pay more. When was the last time you left a restaurant feeling that pleased? Will definitely return.

My girlfriend and I went for our valentines meal and the service was quick and efficient despite it being busy. I love the wide range of dishes and the food came out hot and perfectly to standard. Thank you to the server Lacey , she managed to squeeze my girlfriend and I in on Valentine’s Day even without a reservation and was super friendly and helpful 💕

Came here for a big lunch, group of 15 people, and they accomodated us really well. Brilliant service and great food and drink. The menu is varied and there's something for everyone. We had a couple of young kids (3 and 1) and they were all fine. Definitely go here!

First time eating Vietnamese food and it’s so so good. Our server, Gez, was really helpful guiding us through all the choices and stopped me, very much not a spice fan, from ordering the hottest thing on the menu :D The food was incredible but I would recommend splitting the pancake starter between two because it’s huge :D We’ll definitely be back!

Watch out for the cheeky service charge they add to your bill,they leave the paying machine on your table,walk off quite quickly and hope you pay it without question. Service wasn't that great to be honest,they look chatting at the service window

Went last weekend tried some bits, manager was fantastic, bit slow service but it was a Saturday night so what do you expect. Rice bowls are decent definitely recommend

Gez (Geraint?) was our server. Our meal was a few weeks ago and I've just got around to leaving this review, sorry. Gez was very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. He enhanced our experience at Pho restaurant , Cheltenham greatly and we look forward to visiting again.

Food was great! Good portion sizes and tasty. Very spicy though and not warned. We also waited over an hour and 20 minutes for our food and weren’t told it would take a while

We went to this restaurant to try Vietnamese food. The prices were really reasonable the food was tasty, full of flavour and spicy( if your like me and can not stand spice they can cook it with a nice background level of heat that makes it really pleasant to eat). We tried Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk very sweet but yummy so much so we ended up buying there coffee beans in a small bag 😆. We had puddings to finish our meal of which was really a treat banana fritters and chocolate waffles and ice cream yum yum. Would highly recommend this place the staff were really lovely and knowledgeable and took really good care with us.

Food excellent. Service varied depending on staff member, from very good to poor. Due to this we asked for the optional service charge to be removed. The waitress took the payment device from me and said she had removed it, but hadn't. When queried she had to go to till to amend, which implies it was deliberate not to remove the service charge .

Springroll starter and Chicken fried rice main were very tasty fresh and hot. Went here for the first time, the manager and staff were excellent, service was great. Highly recommend we will return to try other dishes.

I ordered Crab noodle soup here. I will not come here again after this dish. The noodles were overboiled, the meat was not chewed, some rubber pieces of unknown things. It looks like slop. They refused to replace the dish for me. I do not recommend it!

The staff were lovely and so accommodating to dining with a baby and with allergies. The food was fresh and tasty, and my 6 month old enjoyed exploring and eating the toddler plate.

Olivia was extremely attentive and helpful as our server. We would definitely come back again!

15 minute wait for drinks, needed to reorder for water. 1 hour wait for main course, the takeaways were obviously taking priority, the waitress was apologetic, would have helped if a more senior staff had intervened. Great food, poor customer service.

Excellent food and service as always. We brought the dog with us as he’s allowed in the restaurant and he was presented with a tub of doggo ice cream by the manager. Such a nice touch 😊

Friendly staff, great food! We come here often to get our weekly fix of pho and it's almost always great, and if we ever run into any problems the staff are happy to fix it right away. One of our favs in Cheltenham :)

Went there with wifey for a meal with our newborn. The welcome was lovely but I got food poisoning. Contacted Poh who said they would investigate but heard nothing since (5days)
