The best restaurants serving Default food in Castle Without Windsor and Maidenhead South East

Avoid at all costs! I ate the vegetarian noodles and prawn katsu) which were heated up in a microwave. Massive red flag, I should have known better. felt sick within minutes, had diarrhoea within 2 hours. Should be reported for healthy and safety

Staff are pleasant and the place is kept very clean. Personally I prefer the coffee at Black Sheep however this has nice seating inside the area near to the station.

Afternoon tea for two at The Castle Hotel was a gift. We were very disappointed, the service was very slow and some teas unavailable. We opted for the gluten free afternoon tea although this was not on the menu so unsure what the sandwich fillings and desserts were. The sandwiches and deserts were OK but the scones awful, they were not risen at all and too hard to cut in half. The dish which the cream was served had a big chip out of it. At £40 a head we were extremely disappointed and would not recommend. The hotel was cold and air con on even though it was a chilly day. Our waiter was a very pleasant young man and is one of the few positives.

I ordered to the wrong branch and they wouldn't refund me absolute joke as it's a chain restaurant not local they should be happy to refund me which I think is ridiculous

Once ordered and sat down realised the table was sticky The glasses for the water were tired and possibly needed more attention when drying. Order arrived teapots need to be better cleaned. Staff not interested in customers only their selves.

customer service was awful as i was told to shut up my friends were given bluemolded bread and bread was burnt

Real shame that the creperie club on corner of grove road closed some time ago… the building still adornes the faux flowers above

Excellent Curry and it comes with a drink or a glass of wine. One of our go to places when we visit Windsor.

Average food, amazing service” The food was okay—some dishes were really nice, others felt a bit bland. However, the staff were lovely and constantly clearing plates and topping up food. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed.

Disgusting over priced Christmas sandwich with a tiny amount of turkey and lots of stuffing and cranberry jelly to bulk out the filling! What an absolute rip off at £5.50 each !

Very messy. Tables and floors not cleaned of mess and food. Coffee in paper cup not mug, even though cafe closes in 1.5hrs time. Seems to be the standard now in coffee shops, very disappointing. Pastry was okay.

Went for some food! Not busy with only a couple waiting. 4 members of staff with 2 moving around and the other just talking. Went to the counter and waited… and waited….. and waited. No one came to ask me for my order. Said hello and was blanked! Waited for about 5 minutes and then walked out! Couldn’t see any orders going out when I was being ignored. Poor customer service. Not friendly. Would not recommend unless you on a diet.

Small oily portion of chips that was quite expensive.

Really lovely meal in a beautiful location. Had a really friendly warm waiter and the food was delicious. No wait time. Atmosphere was friendly and relaxed.
