Caffe Nero in Windsor and Maidenhead

We got off our train and came here for a flat white which was very nicely made. It was busy but we managed to find a table outside which is still undercover as this cafe is within the station building.

I can’t believe I just spent £3.30 for not even HALF a cup of coffee….got to work and took the lid off and this is what I got…absolute rubbish!

Visited here looking for something Gluten Free, no fresh cakes or rolls available which seems strange given the amount of Vegan options, definitely missing a trick here!

Good coffee, like any other caffe Nero nothing different from the others. Good house keeping tables not clean.

Thank you for taking me last minute inside. I don't remeber the name, but it was in Tuesday 18th of May at 5.30 p.m. I had a quick hot chocolate, which looked amazing with the whipped cream and sprinkles on top. I think it was a Polish blond woman.:)You were busy, but very polite, fast and smiling. Will definitely come back.:)

For the avoidance of doubt, this is the Caffè Nero in Windsor Royal Station (some of the pics posted are of the other Nero is Windsor) I visited this store on Friday morning. It was empty and there was a female member o staff behind the counter. She was busy ... looking at her phone ... it appeared a customer coming in was an inconvenience. She asked what I wanted but there was no warmth and no please or thank you. She also failed in the basic requirement of any coffee shop worker - try for an upsell. Before I’d even left the counter with my drink she was straight back in her phone Note also no hand washing between playing with her phone and serving the customer I’d actually visited the Maidenhead branch earlier that day and generally get excellent service there I’ve mailed the feedback to Nero’s (the compliment and the complaint) and as yet, they’ve not responded Given so many hospitality workers have lost their jobs recently, perhaps the person I encountered at Windsor should give her job to someone who would make an effort ... she’d then have plenty of time to play with her phone

This is a very usefully located Nero with plenty of outdoor seating - outdoor but under cover. I had a flat white and a Cortado, both of which were very well made.

This is one of my favourite watering holes. A visit here is a must if we pop into Windsor. Staff are lovely. And working hard to keep everyone safe.

:Popped in here for a hot drink prior to going to the Theatre Royal and was not disappointed with the drink or the service.

Twenty minutes for two hot chocolate drinks and two slices of very dry cake, and the privilege of paying almost £14. Two staff serving appeared to be faffing around and the queue of customers were not impressed. No one clearing tables outside either. Then just as we left a distraught customer said a small child had ended up with hot water over them, and the staff just looked blankly at her. Not impressed at all.

This chain is rapidly getting to be my favourite , good coffee and pastries but service in this shop was a little cold v others I have visited .

The Paninis in Nero were amazing- just the right texture and so delicious! It was upsetting to go back 2 months later and find that they don’t do the same anymore :(

We had an early morning stroll out in Windsor and stopped off here for a coffee. The service was very friendly and the coffee strong and hot. A great start to the day.

I met a friend here and had a cortado and cappuccino. Both were excellent quality, very nicely made and especially not too milky.

Have attended a few times as this is one of the few places I can enjoy a coffee with my dog. Like the coffee, nice big area and nice choice of snacks and coffees. Well done to them.

Stopped in for a drink and snack. I had a summer fruit tea which was very nice and a toasted tea cake with butter and jam. Perhaps would’ve been nicer if cooked for a tiny bit more. Husband had a coffee and panini. Both were very good. We got there at the end of a busy period but staff were good, they cleared a table as soon as we headed towards it and they dealt with the rest of the queue efficiently.

Disfruta Tranquilamente de una café con una carrot cake. Limpio y tranquilo. Recomendable después de la visita a Winsord.

Dopo una giornata passata a Windsor nel pomeriggio ci siamo concessi una pausa tè in questo Bar. Il locale è molto ampio, e una bella atmosfera, le luci, l'arredamento e la musica di sottofondo sono piacevoli. C'era un po' di coda per ordinare ma i baristi molto veloci e gentili ci hanno servito.

This is a very convenient coffee shop for meeting up. They take a lot of care making the coffee too so my Cortado was strong with a nice froth.

Quite efficient staff and normally room to sit except for busy periods, when you need to sit outside. Gluten-free options limited now. But best coffee in Windsor.

Cafe Nero is one of our favourite coffee shops. They have great tasting coffee and good choice of pastries. The ones we have had have always been warm and fresh unlike other places where they are cold and taste stale

El personal ha trabajado allí durante mucho tiempo y es muy amable y eficiente. Su café es excelente, con una buena selección de pasteles y sándwiches. Esta sucursal de Nero's es un lugar muy cómodo para relajarse y leer los periódicos que se suministran.

Me metí en un sándwich para llevarme antes de subir al tren. La cafetería estaba abierta por otros 50 minutos, pero la mitad de la zona de asientos ya estaba cerrada. El personal no estaba a la vista. Seleccioné un sándwich y en la caja dije: 'Hola'. Unos segundos más tarde, uno de los servidores salió de la habitación de atrás, tomó mi emparedado, confirmó que lo quería tostado y dijo: "¿Beber? "No quería tomar una copa, pagué el bocadillo y ella desapareció de nuevo. Un hombre entró y se paró a mi lado en el mostrador y esperó. Después de aproximadamente medio minuto sugerí que llamara para que lo pudieran atender. Miré en la habitación de atrás y ambas mujeres miraban sus teléfonos y hablaban entre sí. Finalmente, ambas mujeres aparecieron. Uno se acercó a la cafetera y le preguntó al hombre: "¿Usual? "Él dijo que sí, pero ¿podrían asegurarse de que él tomara té negro esta vez, como la última vez que lo habían servido, té a la menta? . . . . con leche. Sin reconocimiento de error, sin disculpas. Mi sándwich era comestible, pero tenía muchas dudas acerca de que el servidor saliera con un guante de plástico azul encendido y tocando mi comida; por lo que sé, ella acababa de limpiar el fregadero. No volveré a utilizar el café. Por alguna razón, no puedo ingresar una clasificación por estrellas para el servicio: 0, comida, 3, valor, 2 y es imposible enviar un correo electrónico a Tripadvisor para avisarles.

There's a lot of competition for coffee cakes and sandwiches within the Windsor Central station complex itself let alone within the town as a whole. Caffè Nero more than holds its own with a combination of exemplary coffee, tasty and quickly prepared snacks, and, unlike most of the competition, a loyalty card scheme. Today we popped in for some quick teatime beverages before taking the train back to London. It was nice to see cortado on the coffee menu which I enjoyed whilst my wife had a camomile tea in a huge mug. For future reference I noticed the addition to the range of savouries waiting to be toasted some new muffins featuring the likes of sausages, omelette and bacon, mimicking, I suspect, some similar items introduced to Pret-A-Manger a year or so back. But imitation they say ...

Went to Nero's Windsor Royal Station branch this morning with my wife as our usual place for coffee etc on Saturdays before doing our shopping. The staff there are really friendly, helpful & efficient. The coffee & pastries are excellent, with comfortable surroundings & free news papers to read whilst there. Great place to start the w/end.

Mi esposa y yo siempre vamos a Caffe Nero's cerca de la estación de Royal Windsor cuando compre en la ciudad normalmente un sábado. El personal es tan alegre y amable que sirve café y deliciosamente hecha una gran selección de pasteles o sándwiches, etc. es agradable tener una silla cómoda y su entorno, además de leer las noticias documentos suministrados por sus clientes. Hay muchos restaurantes en el área, pero no todos ellos trabajan duro como este para lograr la satisfacción del cliente.

Sabes cuando llegas a caffe Nero tendrá un buen café, chocolate caliente o comida. Este neros no me decepcionó. Personal amable, buen ambiente y un entorno encantador! Gracias!

Mi esposa y yo regularmente empezar la mañana en esta rama de Caffe Nero, antes de hacer nuestras compras en los Sábados. El café es excelente y siempre tienen una amplia variedad de fantásticos pasteles/pasteles. El ambiente es tranquilo y cómodo con noticias documentos gratis...

Es un ordinario con nosotros un domingo por la mañana! Nos encanta venir aquí temprano en la mañana. El café es excelente y el personal son frescos:).

Me encanta el chocolate caliente aquí. Simplemente me parece un sabor mejor que otras cadenas de café especialmente el toque de piezas de chocolate en la espuma. Yo tenía un pedazo tiramisú y estaba delicioso. Posiblemente la tarta más bonita que he tenido en mucho, mucho tiempo. El personal era amable y lo recomendaría.

Cafe Nero is a fairly safe bet for a coffee. Maybe its just me but all these big coffee chains just seem lacking in soul. I guess I am just spoilt living on the Isle of Wight where the big brands are few and far between and we have loads of great independent coffee shops which all offer different blends and character. Nothing wrong here at Neros just fely a bit clinical.

......inside the old railway station building. Service poor. Had two attempts to toast a tea cake but failed on both occasions. Wasn't given a choice of milk and was just given full fat milk. Table dirty. On a positive they did clear the tables quickly, just a shame they didn't clean the cleared table.

Stopped for a coffee and cake. I am a regular at other Caffe Nero branches and this was of the same quality. The coffee is good and there is a good selection of cakes. It is well placed in the centre of Windsor Royal Station.

Café agradável e com ótimo atendimento. Adorei o chocolate quente e o croissant recheado. Se você quiser passar várias vezes pelo local pode pegar um cartãozinho de fidelidade e ganhar um café grátis após algumas compras.

Lovely staff, cakes, savouries - not to mention hot drinks.Nice decor and very comfy seating. A great afternoon treat.

I think Caffe Nero have the best coffee of the major chains, and this one did not disappoint. The baristas were well presented and pleasant.

Stopped here for a Tea and waited 15 minutes while one couple in front of me were served - while 5 members of staff chatted around

It was a nice meal with very friendly staff, good service. The price is reasonable, the 'house wine' really nice.

I enjoy the cafe Nero's in Windsor,if in hurry get a takeaway,but sometimes have a cup of hot chocolate with my granddaughter there.We enjoy it and the staff is friendly .

When we visit Windsor we usually end up in the shopping area in the Station just having a wonder round seeing what's on offer. Then a sit down in the local Cafe Nero with a drink to rest our legs. Coffee and Tea is always good in the Cafe Nero will recommend.

Came to Caffe Nero for a quick drink after a walk in Windsor park, and found the hot chocolate to be the best I've tasted from a high street coffee shop - excellent staff interaction too!

So much to see and do. Excellent choice of cafes and restaurants for all pockets. Good bars pubs and hotels. Sights and shopping for all tastes.

what a bad coffe, there is nothing of real italian in it.Real italian coffee does not make your heart shaking so much after drunk it.i will never go back

Service was really slow as there was a new person and the coffee when it arrived was very wish washy which is unusual for cafe Nero. It may have just been a bad day?

Sorry this opinion is about the Branch in Camberley Not windsorI woke up this Morning to go to work, and I decided to pop into café Nero on my way to work. The main reason why I come here is because they normally do very nice fresh pastry, which I something nice to eat in the morning with your coffee.When I got into Café Nero there was only 1 lady waiting to be served and there was only 1 more table being used in the whole Café. This was around 9;45 today Sunday 28th June. When I arrived to the Desk I heard the lady was asking about Pastries, The Barista ( or manager) replied “My college just put the fresh tray in the oven” , she seemed stressed and a bit bothered that the lady was asking that question. Then As I had just 10 minutes to get to work I asked to the barista “ Do you know how long it will take for the fresh Pastries” Then she looked at me with a very unfriendly face and replied “ As I said my college just put the tray in” and I said, “ Yes, I heard that but how long will it take 5, 10 minutes? I need to get to work pretty soon” I was asking politely because she was not being very specific, she kept replying to me and to the other lady “ my college just put the tray.”I am sorry but we do not work I there is there is no way we could know how long a tray takes to be baked, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes?........ However she kept looking at us, in a very unfriendly way as if we were bothering her with our questions!I was by now getting a bit upset, and I said to her “ I am only asking you because I need to get to work!” and she replied, not even looking at me “ you asked me and I gave you an answer”! As I did not want my morning to be spoilt by such an unfriendly and unprofessional Manageress , I did not carry on the conversation and when it came to pay my bill I asked her “ Can I please have your name?” Then she looked at me with a defiant face and replied “ it is here ANNA” pulling her badge on her t-shirt towards me .Now, what Anna probably does not know is that I am also in the hospitality Industry. I have been a restaurant Manager already for 15 years. And what Anna showed me today is that she basically does not have what we call Customers Services. I won’t be coming back unless Anna is not working there or unless Café Nero issues a formal apologyDoes Anna or Café Nero knows that the main reason why people do not come back to a place is BAD SERVICE. Does Anna or Café Nero knows that it cots 10 times more to get a new customer than to retain an existing one? Anna really spoilt my morning. I was hoping to get a nice start before going to work and instead of that I got a very rude manageress with not even the most basic knowledge about customer’s service. Who wants to go back to a place when they treat you like that? Not me.

Standard Nero coffee which is good. Smallish but in good location in the old station shopping area. Generally fast service and cozy

There are 2 Caffe Nero's in Windsor, both serving the same range of menu, which is mainly snack food. They don't do main meals. They tend to be slightly expensive for what you are getting, but the quality is good.

It is a Cafe Nero, so not much to say about the coffee. Main thing to note is that it is located in the Royal Station with big glass windows. This makes it a great place to sit and watch the passing tourists.

Fairly pricey as the quality isn't as good as Costa. Good location for commuters, near Windsor Central Station.

The location is nice but the staff is not very friendly . The latte is good and the cheesecake . I would try a different coffee place next time .

I had a caffe macchiato here (the real Italian way, not like Starbucks). It was very good, but I thought it was a bit expensive. I did appreciate them toasting my breakfast sandwich, however. Definitely made it more delicious.
