Black Sheep Coffee in Windsor and Maidenhead

Once ordered and sat down realised the table was sticky The glasses for the water were tired and possibly needed more attention when drying. Order arrived teapots need to be better cleaned. Staff not interested in customers only their selves.

First coffee came scaldingly hot and when returned got a replacement coffee which was tepid and bitter. We’ve always had really lovely coffees at other Blacksheeps but these were terrible. The toilet was awful with a wonky loose toilet seat, a semi-broken flush button, was smelly and dirty and there was no soap at the basin. Altogether a very disappointing visit and we won’t be returning.

Rubbish experience. Ordered by app, coffee served cold, toastie fell apart. Complained about the coffee and they gave me more steamed milk. Staff seem totally useless, untrained, confused. It was too expensive for the quality. Don't waste your money!

I am a Windsor resident. Every morning after completing my 10km walk along The Long Walk, I make my way to Black Sheep Coffee on Peascod St. I am always greeted by a wonderful smile and welcome. One of the regular Baristas is a young lady by the name of Aleena, who makes amazing coffee (Hazelnut Latte, extra hot). She remembers my order and how I prefer it extra hot without me having to say my order! She is a true professional and most accommodating. I would further like to add, the store is super clean and immaculately kept, with staff ensuring the water jugs are topped up. I used to visit a popular coffee shop "extremely close to your shop", but since the cleanliness and warm welcome by staff and in particular Aleena - I've become a loyal fan of BSC :) Aleena you are a star and I enjoy being greeted by a Barista that actually prides herself in her work and has a great rapport with customers. Thank you for serving us wonderful coffee!

Excellent coffee, like the turmeric latte and salted caramel drinks. Service good and clean, would recommend and is busy

Terrible. Order is via screen or app. Didn’t even bring coffee to table, no acknowledgement when we went up to collect. Coffee too bitter. Won’t be back.

Such a nice server. I ordered a “flat white “ which is espresso and milk but not frothy. Also, I chose some pastry for my breakfast the next day. Everything was delicious. Note to travelers from USA. Coffee is an Americano, there’s also the FLAT WHITE which I think is so clever! If you want frothy coffee there’s Cappuccino and of course the Latte

I went for the biscoff waffle. Biscoff is my favourite and what I had today was amazing, tasted so good I really do recommend this place, great service by Neha a very happy lady. Will come back again with the family.

This franchise is everywhere around England for a quick fix of caffeine when on the run. Sadly the coffee is not great specially bad on the coffee options with milk. We had cappucinos and were not good. Maybe better go for a basic option like an americano.

Superb coffee and amazing staff! We come most days. Recommended to all our friends. We also go to the other black sheep cafe round the corner.

Cold food and l asked for my food to be put back in to be warned up and the reply l go was you eat some off it . So l left it and told the woman to keep it .l paid for the breakfast rap l will not be going back it's definitely not the place to eat just tuck my money ... and l had no breakfast . I got treated terrible..

Such an impersonal depressing experience. Touch screen orders, staff who don’t look at you, all tables dirty while the staff behind the counter scroll on their phones, most disgusting dry and tasteless salmon bagel I’ve ever had, cappuccino more like a tasteless latte, overhead lighting so bright it’s like you’re being interrogated. Soulless

Happy to support local! With a big chain right next door - and my usual go-to - I was very happy with my decision to sidestep the familiar and go local. As my first coffee order in the UK in a long time, the barista gently stepped me around to the order I was wanting. Now I have the lingo - and I definitely got a good cup out of it. Cashless only!

Soon as we walked in we were greeted by 2 very friendly servers. Loved how we order on a screen and the order was done really quickly. I ordered honey cardamon oat latte which was delicous! We went back fro more the next day

I look forward to having a coffee in Black Sheep each time I visit Windsor. It’s always on the itinerary. I like the feel of the place, and the location is great for people watching. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee tastes great and you can even buy some to bring home. They have a good selection of sweet treats too. The staff are helpful. All in all a good place to stop for a coffee break.
