No longer The Bell, now O'Neills. This pub serves 3 real ales, Doom Bar, London Pride and Tim Taylors Landlord, the latter was particularly good. Several sports screens, but they don't dominate the place. Staff very good at finding out about allergies. Pizza very good, however the American Hot, wasn't very hot or spicy, tasty but disappointing.

I stopped here for a quick snack before a big meeting. I ordered the avo toast bc I thought it would be simple and fast. After waiting for 10 mins I explained I needed to dash to the meeting and asked if they could keep it until I was back. After the meeting, I ask for it and I have to wait 20 min more for it... I was starving! Finally it arrives, I order it to go bc I was making my colleague wait. I open the box and the disappointment! Two white toasts (hate it) with a thin layer of avocado spread, a roast tomato cut in half and some green that was tasteless and disgusting... £4.95 for that rubbish! They're so lucky I was starving and in a hurry!

Always have liked the Bell, especially if grabbing a quick pint before jumping on the train. Literally 100 yards from the station The Bell has been rebranded and is now an O’Neills chain pub. Still big with plenty of seating but serving O’Neills menu. Good selection of beers. Gets busy given the location

Me and my husband have been to O’Neills about 5 times to eat, on our first visit I ordered the Steak and Guinness pie, it was scrummy, on another 3 visits I ordered the pie again as it was so nice, only to be told every time they didn’t have any, to me that’s like a pub running out of beer, it shouldn’t happen, it’s a pub for god sake, don’t advertise on the menu if you never stock something, some one isn’t very good at there job if they can’t keep the kitchen stocked with the food they sell.

Came here with my wife last week and had some issues ourselves with the barmaid John on here described (died hair and tattoos). Me and my partner were the only black folk in the room and had waited longer than anyone else. Despite this she served us last and checked my £20 over twice (which I didn't see her doing with anyone else). Rest of the night she kept giving us the evils to imply we weren't welcome. Clearly some unintelligent youth who can't find a proper job so lashes out at anyone different.

Went here for lunch break, ordered food (2 pizzas) and drinks at the bar. An hour later i had to go and ask staff where our food was and they said they would go and look, 30 seconds later they come with the food, one was burnt on top and the other was burnt underneath. When we stated we had been waiting over an hour the guy states that he informed us when the order was placed that there was a waiting time WHICH HE DIDNT other wise we would of ordered. Over an hour is not acceptable and the place wasnt even full it was about 60% full and not everyone was eating.

Been here a few times and got no complaints about the food and the beer just watch out for the bar maid with the tied back died hair and tattoos. Last time she served me I was short changed by 80p. I of course retrieved this after raising the matter yet still had the nerve to mutter an insult under her breath and give me cold stares the rest of the night. As for the other staff keep up the good work!

Maybe I just picked a bad night but I went into this pub because it was right next to my hotel , on first impressions it was early evening busy with what seemed to be a friendly crowd But at the busy bar there was just one barman working who was struggling with a large and rather complex whisky round , after leaning on the bar for 10 minutes and being totally ignored I decided to go slightly further afield and find an establishment who wanted to sell me a pint of Guinness . I hope you have better luck !

Went for pizzas and tacos. The pizzas took 40mins, and were cold. One ‘meat mountain’ had a bone in it. The ‘American hot’ was cold and the dough was awful compared to previous experiences. When the staff and then manager were asked about this, they stated that “the new menu does not involve fresh dough. All pizzas are now prepared in the other kitchen instead of the pizza oven. We no longer use fresh dough as it was leaving flour in the air and contaminating everything. So now we use pre-prepared dough”.

Dear The Bell,Please at all times please remember you are supposed to be providing a SERVICE!So, we sit at a table , been here before and the snacky food is great but the kitchen's ALWAYS out of something so you have to go back to your chosen table multiple times to reorder! This particular time none of the tables had been cleared/cleaned so we asked at the bar when we ordered if it could be wiped and a kid came over and gave the middle of the table a cursory wipe. We pointed out he'd missed most of it and he rolled his eyes and said there were other tables elsewhere so sit!!I was too shocked to have a go at a kid and too hungry to cancel my order but really this is unacceptable. You may not be Michelin like your neighbours down the road but just do your job properly and cheerfully or get another one.The service in here is always hit and miss but just needs sensible management.Such an easy fix to a place which was getting a good reputation finally.

After receiving a threatening response to a previous review, turning over a new leaf and will write only good reviews in 2017. Starting with what is technically my local, as the crow flies... hadn't of course been in it for over 25 years. I don't know when they dropped the Tardis into maidenhead but the venue Is enormous and absolutely perfect for watching the footie. It was rammed - there must have been 150+ people in there all told - but nice atmosphere, service was good, food looked very good - will take on and review the pizza in three months time - and as I am enduring a 'dry' January, I'll give honourable mentions to those places that charge sensible prices for a soda water (clue there in the second work, licencees...) and lime. 65p at the Bell, really nice that they do that without a gripe. Awfully passe to quote the ex-Governor of California, but as Arnie says... 'I'll be back'.

From initial discussions/ planning right the way through to the night of the occasion, the team at The Bell were friendly and helpful. I've not eaten here (yet) but I did want to mention the cocktails: at The Bell, they are made properly, the ingredients are not skimped upon and the price is reasonable. We've tried quite a few (Madame's favourite is the Long Island Iced Tea, but finished with lemonade and not cola, which the staff are happy to do) and not been disappointed. Yes, it can get a bit noisy if there's a big sporting event on the big screens, but it's not a deal-breaker!

So you go in, and you see this guy making the pizza from scratch so you're expecting big things.Firstly, they sell an all day breakfast pizza. Alarm bells were already ringing then but we thought we would follow through nonetheless. Shocking decision making. They used canned cheese on my "New York" style pizza. I don't remember the last time New York pizzas were known for that. Furthermore the pizzas were so cheesy that it would make the base all soggy and quite frankly disgusting. I couldn't continue after two bites.Next, my friend ordered a bacon burger. The burger was bang average, and tasted as if it had just been defrosted. The bacon was shocking, and tasted like what I would imagine the sole of my shoe would taste like. They didn't have basic condiments such as ketchup and mayonnaise. Considering its marketed as an Italian gaff they didn't even have any Italian beers. The urinals were leaking and had buckets under every single one.The service was terrible and you had some very odd clientele who think it's acceptable to stand right in front of the TV when everyone is watching. The dough balls were good though...

I'm not a big fan of pizzas but when we saw the 'buy one get one free' deal (Tuesdays only) I thought I'd give it a go! And I have to say it was the best pizza I have ever eaten. We did have to wait a while but we weren't in a hurry and they cooked everything from fresh - so it was definitely worth waiting for. The staff aren't the smiling kind(!) but nothing was too much trouble for them and I can manage with that. This was right next to the hotel and they have a special pizza area, so I tried a pizza! I didn't really like the choices on the menu, but was fine to pick my own toppings, I was not really told what was available as toppings? Just threw some choices at them! When I went to the bar I set up a tab, the man who served me I presume was quite new? Although everything turned out fine, he didn't actually explain anything of how the tab worked, ie didn't give me a number or reference, which I thought was a bit strange. He also made a comment when I looked at the menu - implying I was slow in making my choice!I did really like the outside area, and in the summer I imagine this is quite nice for something that is right in the centre of town.

I have to really compliment the quality of the pizzas they serve here! (...and I am italian!) It is the right size, the dough is great well cooked, the mozzarella is good quality. The only thing to make this place perfection is that they should take orders from tables rather than making the guest go to the bar to order. Other than that is serves nice food and it is a gret place to meet meet up with friends!

After a few recommendations I decided to give this place a visit. League cup final, so had a fair few football fans in watching the game. The majority seemed to be families and although at times was loud, expected during a game, the atmosphere feelers friendly and vibrant! The food was very good! Enjoyed the mushroom starters in garlic bread which was delightful! Really enjoyed the chicken pizza! If you like a decent stone baked pizza, this is defiantly a place to visit!!

Great atmosphere when watching the rugby. Pizza was nice. Sloppy Joe was our favourite. Guinness was poured well.

Had pizzas from here before which we have ordered and collected, but this was some time ago. Went last night and pub was really busy and there was a wait for food, but that was ok - however when the pizzas came you had to hunt for the meat element! Had duck and hoisin sauce and yes lots of sauce but 3 very very small pieces of duck, and ham was in shirt supply too - very disappointing. During its rise to popularity, they seem to be trying to make higher profits so won't be going back which us a shame as when they started they were excellent.

I'm a regular here and I couldn't fault anything. The pizza is amazing, I normally only get the veggie one but its so great. The atmosphere is great too if your a sports fan, the rugby or football is always on which means its just a fun place to be.

Verwacht geen gezelligheid. Prima plek voor een snelle eenvoudige maaltijd. Bediening is vriendelijk en de tv's bieden de nodige afleiding. Eten is goed, goeie prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

Called in twice in two days for an after dinner drink; had cocktails on both occasions. On the first night, 2 of the cocktails on the menu weren't available due to lack of ingredients. The second night, only stay for the one drink as the music was sound loud, my ears were still ringing the next day. Shame, as it's a lovely traditional pub that I would love to visit again...

This is an awesome place. The pizza selection is varied, interesting, and tasty. Plenty of good beer. A great social environment for hanging out with friends.

The food was good but waited ages, people ordered take away came and went with their food and we waited and waited !! When the order finally arrived it was wrong but the staff basically told us we were lying, this kind of attitude does not make for a cheery meal. Ended up feeling guilty even though we were telling the truth - we went to the pub because we fancied a pint, pizza in a relaxed atmosphere, instead we felt very uncomfortable, we won't go back. The Hand and Flowers and Francesco's are both better ! Give it a miss.

This was our first visit to The Bell and we were very impressed with the 'different' choices of pizza available eg: English Breakfast, Chicken Tikka Masala, Duck & Hoisin to name a few. My husband had the Mighty Meaty Pizza pie which he was very pleased with as it was very tasty containing plenty of meat. I, on the other hand had a Chicken Tikka Masala pizza which was nice, but too much sauce and not enough chicken. If we go again I would want to share my pizza with someone else so I get more variety. It is a very popular pub at lunchtimes and evenings.

Got the 6.95 meal and drink option. Pizza disappointing. 3 microthin pieces of salami on the Spicy Italian 12 inch Pizza. 98% bread. Mean and stingy rip-off. Wouldnt go again

I'd heard good things about this pub. My girlfriend and I decided to pop in there to try the food one night. All I can say is that the atmosphere, service and food was average. My burger was dry, the service seemed rushed, and the music being played was far too loud. Having said that I would go back just for drinks - its just not the place for a meal out.

We tried 3 different pizzas and they were all good. We liked the atmosphere and the pub style experience. The decor was pretty cool as well. Definitely recommend if you want some great pizza.

My friends and I use this pub every Thursday for our Social Thursday. Atmosphere is good, lots of space and clean. The alcohol is not expensive and neither is the food. We have a membership card that allow as get 20% for all the food, so that is a plus. We have also been there for sports matches (football, tennis, rudby,...) They have recently changed their menu and we have new choices to choose from. The sizes are good for pizza and quesadillas, while with other things they are a bit short. As a down bit, I would say that the kitchen closes at 9pm even during weekends.

Ordered 2 large pizzas via uber eats for dinner (Texas BBQ) as expected we ate the first pizza and kept the left overs for the next day.. once we moved the extra slices onto a plate we noticed a purplish coloured stain to the pieces of chicken.. is this mould? It certainly looks very suspicious and snapped a few photos.. I would really like some feedback from dominos about this…very disappointing 😳

Initially told our booked table had been over booked and none available, was told that they could make a table available for half an hour after our original booking if we were willing to wait. Once sat service was slow despite the restaurant becoming quieter. Food however was good Initially given the wrong bill at payment

Only went there as we had Clubcard points to use and still feel disappointed even though it was free. Waited 10 minutes to be seated at a dirty table then had to wait a further 20 minutes to take our order. Food very plain and basic (certainly not worth what they were asking). Then waited 45 minutes for our main. We had the mushroom Arancini which consisted of 4 balls rolling round a plate without any sauce or garnish. Then had there beef shin filled pasta which tasted pretty much the same as a tin of Heinz Ravioli . Certainly won’t be going back Unfortunately Windsor caters for the tourists who will never go back so most places charge the earth for average food and poor service
