Prezzo - Windsor in Windsor and Maidenhead

Excellent customer service experience from Niko. From the beginning when he offered us a table with amazing view and until the end. Niko is a great assert to Prezzo.

Despite booking a table for 6, a suitable table was not offered and 3 double tables were pushed together next to the entrance door with a cold northly wind blowing in every time the door was frequently opened. The staff were undermanned but polite and cheerful. The food was generally poor. Calzonne dough was raw and just warm. Pizza was very short of cheese, tomato and topping. The atmosphere resembled a cafe and no way an Italian restaurant. Not good!

Used Just Eat to have food from Prezzo Windsor delivered. The food was cold, which is a risk you take when ordering on the app and I would never put total blame on the restaurant for that, however it was stone cold. We have ordered from restaurants further away and the food has arrived much hotter than this. The biggest issue though, is that my wife has coeliac disease and MUST have a strict gluten free diet. Prezzo gives gluten free options but when the food was delivered none of it was labelled as such. This means that she couldn’t eat one of her food options as we had no idea which one was gluten free. It also made us question whether the restaurant were careful in ensuring there was no cross contamination with the other food. We have eaten in Prezzo Windsor before and had a good experience so it’s a huge shame that the standards are not continued with their takeaway option.

The service in this restauarnt is so slow. We went on a weekday in half term and had 2 hours parking. It took 1 1/2 hours for us to order, get our food and eat. This is painful with hungry kids. The menu at Prezzo for vegeterians has diminished considerably over the last few years and I am not sure if I would go back. They were understaffed in this branch and we had to call the staff several times to get our orders in to speed up the process. Food was ok - ordered the goats cheese pizza - felt like they could have done better with it Positives - We sat by the window and could see the castle

Fantastic service, from the moment we entered we were welcomed in the kindest of ways. Our waitress has been a star and tended to all our needs throughout our visit. On top of that we had a voucher for a complimentary bottle of prosseco. By far the best dining experience we had lately

Our experience was very lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the service was fast too. The food was amazing and came out pretty quickly!

Really lovely evening, food and service excellent. Kindly seated in a quiet part of the restaurant so we were able to chat. No attempt to move us on which was appreciated. Waiter overheard a comment about my husband's birthday. A slice of cake was a lovely gesture . Will certainly return.

Went to Prezzo Windsor for Sunday lunch with our friends and kids, we really enjoyed the food. The service was excellent, we were warm welcomed, our oval table had enough space for 6 and the chairs were comfy. The atmosphere is friendly, food was delicious, we went for desserts and weren't disappointed, kids had chocolate sundae with delicious fresh strawberries. Special thanks to the staff who served us, everyone was so helpful, polite and friendly. I would highly recommend Prezzo Windsor, it's a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends.

Unremarkable and overpriced food. Bruscetta was served on what seemed like a pizza dough base and the Tiramasu had no flavour and tasted like synthetic cream. Our food ordering was rushed ond once the main course was finished we were kept waiting for ages until I had to call at the waiter as he rushed around. It was not a very relaxing environment.

Service is brilliant 👏 staff are so friendly and helpful, food is great , after visiting the beautiful Windsor, this is just a perfect place to have a dinner 🍽

Well, as fan‘s of the Prezzo brand we have seen some fine italian places of them. And all starts and finishes with the service personal. The food is good, no question about that. But they realy need to focus on service. Finaly left even without the desert which should be included in the kids mene.

Only went there as we had Clubcard points to use and still feel disappointed even though it was free. Waited 10 minutes to be seated at a dirty table then had to wait a further 20 minutes to take our order. Food very plain and basic (certainly not worth what they were asking). Then waited 45 minutes for our main. We had the mushroom Arancini which consisted of 4 balls rolling round a plate without any sauce or garnish. Then had there beef shin filled pasta which tasted pretty much the same as a tin of Heinz Ravioli . Certainly won’t be going back Unfortunately Windsor caters for the tourists who will never go back so most places charge the earth for average food and poor service

Check the bill. Crafty. Food ok. Service was busy. We couldn’t see the castle but that was fine as had just toured it. Just check the bill as have been over charged.

Delivery was over 30 mins late. Had to go outside to the guys car to collect our order. Food wasn't the best and luke warm. Pizzas came in a paper foil bag which had all the toppings stuck to the inside of the packaging, abysmal. Portion sizes were tiny. Only ordered from here as staying in airport hotel and usually love our local Prezzo.

Very cheerful tall waiter and short waitress ( am I allowed to say that these days) who were both very polite and efficient! Had the houmos….wow what a twist that was and great calzone….maybe another couple of minutes more but still good. Overall very impressed thanks

Amazing staff so helpful. There was no problem with staff helping me with a wheelchair ramp they assured I had downstairs seating when I booked. Didn't feel rushed. Was with friends and children and all of the staff went above and beyond to make it a lovely afternoon, we don't live near windsor and this was an amazing experience. Thank you so much for being accessible and supportive.

The staff members looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but here - and served like it too. The burrata pinsa was loaded with rocket when the menu stated chives. My husbands Alfredo chicken rigatoni was bland and tasteless. And the orange cheesecake was honestly the worst I've ever had. It was dry, mealey and not at all creamy like cheesecakes should be. £10 for a very weak blood orange margarita was unbelievable. We had a voucher which was lucky, as I'd have been mortified to pay full price.

Lovely food, great service and fab choice! Our server was attentive and polite! We had calzone, salad and pizza and everything was super tasty.

My grandad and I went here for lunch and it was delicious. I had an enormous vegetarian calzone, not just containing vegetables but also fake chicken and fake pepperoni which I think was a really nice touch and very vegetarian inclusive. I also had a biscoff cheesecake which was also amazing. Thank you Prezzo!

We came with two tired children after a day out at legoland. The staff were wonderful, kind and attentive. Food came very quickly and we all enjoyed it. We made the most of the fantastic offer of 'kids eat free' during the summer; it wasn't busy and we felt very lucky to have a nice chilled dinner.

Food was disgraceful. It did not look appetising at all. We ordered two pizza's and they looked and tasted like a Iceland frozen pizza's. The dough and peppers were undercooked. It wouldn't have hurt to put some basil on the pizza to make it look more appetising. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming to eat here

Chose here for a quick after school bite as they had a good GF menu & I have coeliac disease. The service and food was awful Place was empty and now I know why I got the wrong starter My pizza was doughy and inedible My husbands pasta was dry and tasteless The servers sit around at the back of the restaurant ignoring you Never again

We came here on a Friday early evening without a booking. They were very helpful and managed to get us a table. The staff were all very friendly and the service was quick. The menu was varied and had lots of options, especially for vegetarians and vegans. Prices are around average, especially for Windsor. Food was tasty and really well cooked with good portion sizes. We had mains and dessert, both of which were really nice. Can definitely recommend the lemon cheesecake.

Party of 12. Served by a delightful young waitress who took our order swiftly and was attentive throughout! Nice meal and Sicilian Lemon Meringue was just awesome 👌

This is the worst Prezzo I have ever been to. If Prezzo end up going under, then branches like this are entirely to blame! We went on a Saturday lunchtime and it was deserted. Despite this, we had to wait over 5 minutes for someone to greet us and show us to a table. The service was terrible - the waiter was unfriendly, didn't care check us or make any effort to make any sort of rapport with the customers. My pasta was overcooked, oily and disgusting.my friend's food was cold. We didn't bother staying for deserts- what would be the point?! Considering the fantastic location , you'd think it'd be heaving! My advice is to go elsewhere on the same street.

7:45 Sunday, “Sorry, we’re not taking walk-in’s”. Seriously, the place was half empty. If you believe the media, hospitality is on It’s knees in this country. Not at Prezzo in Windsor though, good for them. Very accommodating at Zizzi’s down the road.

Ordered the kids 2 x ceasar salads today and we noticed some of the salad was brown and slimey, although they took the salads off the bill there was no real apology, one small piece pictured 🤢

Omg….what a rip off! Food tiny portions, pizza utterly rubbish and everything at least £5 over priced. This is my second visit to a Prezzo in a week. First without using Clubcard, yesterday with. Regardless, we had such an awful meal…no wonder no one was in there. What are you doing?! The house Rose is acid in a bottle btw 😔 I will never go again. Nothing to do with the waiter but I have to say, the lack of ambience, in fact any kind of vibe just dreadful! The music was even so out dated and such an odd mix. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don’t even go if you have vouchers!

I was here recently with my daughter and grandson and was very disappointed I had a ceaser salad and was give all the centers of a lettuce and very little actual leaves and about a teaspoon of the dressing . Very poor indeed

Poor chicken bacon and avocado salad, obvious cost cutting hardly any bacon and no longer with bacon. Complained got an apology but nothing off the bill. Poor

Took my two daughters and six young grandchildren aged 2 - 8 in Feb half term. Had fantastic service from our waiter Alfred who remained patient and polite throughout even though we were a noisy messy group. Food was great too.

Food was good.Service staff seemed less in number but they all were very accommodating . Very warm , service was quick . Was not so happy with food taste as I have experienced better ones in other prezzo’s.

We had a birthday party for a 7 year old last night. The staff were friendly and helpful, however the food was DISGUSTING! Chicken, and Chicken Burger was dry the sauce was bitter, although they changed it for a burger, it was exactly the same, its like the "chef" was off and he/she prepared everything the night before!!! Never eating at this rubbish restaurant again! Ended up at the McDonald's next door just so I could eat something!

Tasteless pasta dish, chicken out of a cheap packet. Cannelloni dried in dish. Garlic bread at £6.50 smaller than a pitta bread and not a hint of garlic. Horribly overpriced and bad value even using Tesco vouchers. Last visit to these chains.

Ich hab Zöliakie und es gibt dort glutenfreie Pizza, Pasta und Risotto sowie weitere glutenfreie Speisen. Sie haben extra eine glutenfreie Karte. Ich habe die Pizza gut vertragen. Gerne wieder :)

Sack the cook !!!!sorry the food today 2/9/2023 Was so bad my 10 year old rated it as the worst food he has had eaten out !!!his pizza was undercooked and the chicken was a plastic meat my bruschetta was a piece of dough with half of Tesco cheap tasteless tomatoes slapped all over it ,I’m not a tourist that pays stupid prices for local food I’m a local that won’t be going back ever 50 pounds !!! 25 would of been a insult to the food industry. The food was bland and undercooked. Service was so slow and the staff were unattentive and more interested in their phones than doing their jobs. I'm not surprised with so many teenagers on shift.

The experience was ok, but staff needed some training in general customer service and delivery of food. Our main course was brought to us before we finished our starters or had the dirty plates taken away. The space itself was quite dark.

Food choice was good. All reasonable portions with good flavours. Staff were knowledgeable, if a little slow, particularly with drinks. Overall, a good experience, however, very expensive in my opinion.

Food was good. Starters came quite quickly and the mains didn’t take too long. Staff are friendly but very busy. Had to wait to be seated and took longer than expected for our order to be taken. Not the fault of the staff, it’s just they could have done with some extra help. Not been to a Prezzo in a while, but they used to do Peroni but now it isn’t on the menu so they suggest Poretti instead, which isn’t as nice.

Went a little wrong in my visit but they were more than willing to sort and make me leave feeling good about my visit! Il be back. The food I took with me was fabulous and friends food was good too apparently.

Food is very good, but service can be patchy, especially if a large group comes in. It also gets very loud when busy, as the room seems to act like an echo chamber.

The time kept getting pushed back, I called the restaurant to see if there was an issue to which they told me it wasn't their problem they were waiting for a driver. They also told me that the food was ready and waiting... 2 hours later we received the food. Stone cold, the pizza dough was so tough we couldn't eat it. The chips were soggy and cold from sweating in their box for so long. Not a salvageable mealat all. Would not order from here again.

Don't go here as a big party until they sort themselves out. Food cold (went back to the kitchen 3 times). Half the party were forgotten about and had their food just under 2 hours after ordering. Expensive and poorly cooked. It's hard to get pasta wrong!!

Really poor. Was 4 of us. 2 couldn't eat their food it was that bad. They gave us discount but no atmosphere. Despite being quite busy. Honestly believe food would have been better at the Spoons a few doors up

The food was bloody awful. They may as well have microwaved a meal for me and poured salt over it. My sister had watery risotto with raw prawns.

Ellie and Thomas were amazing. Service with a smile and very welcoming which makes the food taste even more delicious. Had the lobster ravioli and dolce chilli pizza. Poretti goes great with dinner xx

Gone downhill- ordered a Pepsi which was never brought to the table but I was charged for it, when I questioned it the manager wasn't very happy about taking the item off my final bill she was rude

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. The food is gilling and the atmosphere is lovely. I forgot a personal item there and a staff member came running to return it back. Overall I highly recommend it.

The food was ok but nothing special, doesn't justify the high prices. They'd also run out of Peroni beer! On a more positive note the service was good and our waitress was very friendly and chatty. Great location opposite the castle but there are loads of other places to eat in Windsor so wouldn't bother coming back here again.

The penne arrabiata was missing the chicken and wasn’t cooked properly, flavour wasn’t good at all. The mozzarella squares were missing the dip and i only got 3 squares which was disappointing

If i could give 0 stars, i would. I ordered the penne arrabiata with chicken and even paid extra for grated cheese. Didn’t receive the chicken nor the cheese and the dish was pretty much just pasta and tomato sauce- was extremely disappointed. Also ordered the mozzarella dippers and I received 3 small cubes of breaded mozzarella with no dip even though it states it comes with a dip - again, very disappointing.

One of the best Italian Restaurants I've eaten at in the UK! Wonderfully varied and vibrant for vegetarians (not just the usual aubergine nonsense) and the Tiramisu was fantastic!

Booked a table for Valentines day for my wife and I but when we arrived 5 minutes early than our booked time we were greated with we only take cards and you only have have 90 minutes. It took them over 20 minutes to even take our order and it took a further 20 minutes to get our starter. In the end we went without having coffee as after the years we had been going there and had just paid £80 we were not very happy and will not be going back to the Windsor branch and will stick to Egham were we got better service 2 weeks earlier.

Great experience. We went to lunch with the family. There were a lot of people inside, but there was a nice atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed and got a nice seat at the end of the restaurant. The staff was amazing, especially our waiter 🙂 Didn't have to wait long for the food and everything was fresh and warm. All the time we had fantastic service, the waiter kept checking our table and asking if we were missing anything. We will definitely come back again.

Visited this restaurant for a quick brunch on a Sunday afternoon in early February. The restaurant was fairly busy but we received our food quite quickly. I had seabass with roasted vegetables which was all good but I just found it a bit unusual combination for my taste. My partner had Beef in Chianti with Porcini Mash which he really liked. Our food was brought to us hot and on pre-warmed plates. During our meal, we were asked by staff members a few times if everything was good with our meals.

Yet another delicious Prezzo meal. This is the fourth different Prezzo I have been to and they never fail to impress. I tried the new Beef Ragu starter aka little balls of heaven. Also...can i just say...Best pizzas ever!

I've given you 4 stars because you don't accept cash, and I think this is unacceptable. There is no sign to say it's by card only. What would happen if an elderly couple came with cash only and had no other way to pay? Apart from that food was nice, but very slow service and staff looked miserable and rushed off their feet.

There were 9 of us and we were able to bring forward the booking by 30 minutes which was great and we were seated and offered drinks promptly. The menu has a lot on offer, a really good choice along with the drinks menu. Our service was great, friendly and prompt. The food was excellent! The only downside was that it was expensive - after allowing for 10% service charge (which they deserved) the pizza was close to £20, £8 for a pint of Peroni and over £7 for non alcoholic beer! This is too much for a pizzeria. Overall we had a great time but the cost would put us off coming again

Having read some mixed reviews about this restaurant I was unsure to what experience we were going to have. I must say we were all pleasantly surprised in a good way. The starters were delicious, I would strongly recommend the calamari (best I’ve had for years) followed (for me) the Gorgonzola pizza, fabulous. Service was adequate. Clearly they are reacting to past negative comments, and working hard to improve. Certainly the quality of the food is very good.

Great food and service. Love it when Maria is here as she really is switched on and everything runs efficiently including great food. This was evident on our visit earlier in November for lunch. Thanks Gary Mander
