Revisited this spot for dosa but was left very disappointed. Visited on a hot day and sadly the food was disagreeable. Very salty and did not live up to previous visit. The dosa contained chunks of onion and the potato filling was not a fine lightly spiced mash. Drew to the attention of waitress who said I should have returned after one bite!! Disappointing response 😳

Enjoyed hot and tasty crispy dosa. Must try Schezwan. Plain dosa, rawa dosa were also tasty with chutney and sambhar. Great coffee.

Our first visit here and we were not disappointed. We had the most delicious food and the service was extremely good. The menu is comprehensive but our young server helped us navigate our way around and was knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend!

The food and drinks were really good. I have a northern Indian palate and the southern Indian food here was totally what I like. The service was excellent and they were genuinely interested in us having a good time. They served fast, got us extra sambhar when we asked and I really can’t fault this place. Would definitely go again.

Crispy dosa is an Indian restaurant. I visited windsor catle and while while exploring the city, came across the restaurant on the street in front of the queen victoria statue. Unlike the name, it is not a purely south Indian restaurant. Enough food options, both in north and south Indian cuisine. The best option for Indian food in Windsor.

Very small portion, wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so expensive. Got charged service charge, Don't know why. Would have got meat dishes for the same price or less.

A chaat is not a samosa with chutney, it should consist of other ingredients too. Bhajia is not just 2 patties of potato slices, but shoud be multiple slices of potatoes. We paid 3x more at this restaurant than what it's worth. DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED!! Service was very poor.

We came across this restaurant whilst visiting Windsor. I am vegetarian and my husband a meat eater. However Indian food is his favourite and so we were both happy to have lunch here. I especially love dosas and they are difficult to find in most U.K. Indian restaurants. The food took me straight back to my visits to southern India, the food was authentic and delicious. My dosa was good value and packed with paneer. However, I would say that my husbands curry was not as good value and having to pay £4.50 for a portion of boiled rice on top seemed too much. The team are welcoming and the surroundings clean and comfortable. Highly recommended to all vegetarians and anyone who loves South Indian cuisine.

Accidentally came across this dosa restaurant in Windsor and sat down for a quick lunch with friends. Service ambiance and food was what you would expect from a good restaurant in historical town. Would be glad to recommend it to anyone visiting Windsor.

We are not vegetarians but enjoy tasty food and this is what we got…. The four of us chose different dosas and curries and were not disappointed…. Everything was well made but could have had a bit more spice for our taste…. Extra Sambals were offered which was a nice touch… The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was warm except when the door was opened… they perhaps need a screen for the winter?!? Will we return? Probably…

I should start by saying I am not their target customer. I am not a vegetarian - and wouldn't have gone unless a vegetarian family member wanted to go there. We had a few starters and the chilli paneer was actually very good. The mains were fine - they were all just a bit bland for me. It was fine - but wouldn't rush back.

Had already booked a restaurant for Sat night when I saw this place online. So thought we'd try breakfast. Brilliant. There was only one other person in there on the Sunday morning. The waiter couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast is usually a buffet but I'm coeliac and most of the dishes contained gluten, so they cooked me a dosa especially. My friend had the buffet which she enjoyed.

My family went to this restaurant on the 9th of August. We were excited to try this restaurant for the first time, however unfortunately the customer service completely let the experience down. We booked a table online, and when we arrived showed the confirmation to the manager. He denied that a booking had been made (despite being shown the confirmation) and was very cold and unwelcoming to our group. He was particularly rude to my young son which was upsetting to us. The restaurant was mostly empty, so it was not clear why we were subsequently ignored and made to stand and wait for a long period of time. It created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Once we were sat down the waiter who looked after our table was very nice, however, given how unwelcome the manager made us feel, we have no plans to return to this restaurant.

We came here because we fancied a dosa and thalli. We sat outside because we had the pooch. The waiter who served us was very friendly and attentive. On to the food….. We had massala dosa and a thalli, more than enough food for two. Washed down with two pints of Cobra. Lovely food and reasonably priced. Under £30

Having been to many restaurants with vegetarian family and friends, there are always vegetarian options. Went to Dosa Windsor and exremely disappointed to find no meat options. Then they forgot my meal and had to re-order. Staff need to learn how to pull a . Will not be going again.

Service was lacking, staff not attentive. We ordered 2 masala dosas and one paneer dosa between the three of us. Very small portions of chutneys as they ran out of green and red chutneys. We had about a teaspoon of chutneys.. waiter said they were preparing new batch.. However it took long and our dosas were getting cold. So not a satisfying dinning experience. Prices higher than other branches. Staff could have been more approachable.

Very poor ‘surprise’ a single tray with watery sauce, and a small amount rice. Wasn’t anything close to the short description eluded to. Yes it was only £5.50, but it felt poor value for even that. Clearly not near the £15 retail price it was...

Truly awful food. Raw chapati flour, raw rice, overly spiced food, over priced. Avoid at all costs. This is what happens when restaurateurs want to make money instead of servicing a decent product. Rude and terrible service too.

We were in town visiting a friend, and we were looking for some Indian takeaway to have a nice evening in. We were welcomed and given a seat while we decided what to eat and ended up having a nice glass of wine while we waited. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I felt they went above and beyond, making sure we had a nice experience. The food was great. The pompadons were nice, and the lamb kebabs were excellent. The atmosphere was nice as well. The only note for reference is that Google Maps takes you to the back, and the name on the front of the store says Maidenhead Spice. That is the space they are in. We found it and were happy we did.

The restaurant was recommended to me by a personal friend. I was looking for something that offers good food, good service and authentic experience for my family’s visit in the UK. The food was mediocre, lacks taste and the portions are very small. It seems like the dishes are different colours but taste the same. The breads were very good though. The prices are expensive for what it is. The restaurant smells unpleasantly. I was sold on the promise of magic shows for my little cousin, and the experience, but other than taking our order, we did not see any of the waiters come up and even ask if our food was ok. I asked if the 3 portions of rice would be enough between the 4 of us and the waiter offered no comment other than just shrugging his shoulders. I don’t really like to leave bad comments, so I also told the owner at the end that the experience was very disappointing and he didn’t seem too bothered. Overall, the most disappointing meal/ experience we’ve ever had.

We had enjoyed this takeaway for some time and were regular customers. Unfortunately our last meal was spoiled when a vegetarian dish was found to have chicken in it. My husband (who is vegetarian) found this out when eating the dish - a very unpleasant experience. Paprika eventually (after trying to insist on a discount on a future order) agreed to refund the cost of the dish, but the attitude, although apologetic, was one of "these things happen".
