True Gentlemen. They also sold a selection of After Dinner Coffees too including the yummy Irish Creme Coffee. They did a 3 piece starter (Appertiser) plate for me and my Friend, which was nicely presented. Would Highly recommend Paneer Tikka, Onion bhaji and vegetable pakora. Comfortable seating. A Good selection of Deserts too. Glad to have found another reasonably priced Indian restaurant in Maidenhead that is Dine In and NOT just Takeaway. We’ve been coming here fortnightly for a long time now it’s mine and my husbands date night go to, the food is always amazing, the staff are always friendly and chatty, always accommodating and nothing is ever a problem, we absolutely love this place. I’ve tried most dishes on the menu over the years and I’m yet to try something I don’t like!! They always keep sambuca in for us as we do like a couple of shots after our dinner and we are never rushed out . It’s our favourite place.

A group of us came Saturday evening and the food was amazing and brought our birthday cakes out also ..Will definitely be back

It is important to note that we did not visit the restaurant, we ordered a take-away. We often order take-aways at the weekend and have used a number of different Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi restaurants in Maidenhead at various times over the years. We appreciate that a take-away meal can never be as good as one that is freshly prepared in-house.....nonetheless we have found that take-aways are generally most acceptable I did try to leave a review but the review page provided on the restaurant's website is not working properly. I'm sorry to say that this was positively the worst take-away meal of this type my wife and I have ever had. We have bought many over the years but this was just awful. The food was cold, haphazardly prepared, tasteless and without any true or expected flavour. Our Chicken Tikka, Sizzling Duck Tandoori, Mater Paneer and Saag bhaji were nothing like as described on the restaurant's menu and nothing like similar dishes that are offered from other take-aways, while the onion bhaji and the pilao rice were just about acceptable. It may have been a blessing that the portions were rather smaller than what we would consider to be the norm. This is all such a shame because we have visited The Lemon Grass many times in the past and it has nearly always been very good. Maybe there has been a change of ownership/management....I don't know....however, I would be interested in hearing from them, if they take customer complaints seriously.

I felt uncomfortable at first coming back after s long time being absent but I work long hours nights shifts so not always easy to want to socialise....Food is and service is amazing,love this place...Thank you for making me discover Indian food,am french!!! Went here as a family of 10 for the Sunday buffet. Food choices were excellent and the food served in a professional manor. 4 children with us who were all treated well and given the same choice as the adults if they did not want the children’s meal. Price very good for the food supplied and there was no trouble in amending dishes to take in consideration any allergies.

My family and I have used Lemon Grass for a number of years, and the food and service is never anything other than first-class. I visited last evening with my octogenarian in-laws, and enjoyed as good a curry as I’ve had in years. All dishes were outstanding, with my lamb naga both spicy and tasty, and the service (on a busy evening) was punctilious to a fault. Bravo Raffi and the team. Keep it going!!!!

Hello, My family and I ordered from the Lemon Grass which we always have done. Normally never had a problem! Ordered over the phone, and was told 15 mins for collection - PERFECT! We got home, opened up our order and realised instead of a CHICKEN tikka masala… CHICKEN. We were given a PRAWN ( the member of my family wanting a chicken masala is allergic to PRAWN ) I of course ring them back and I’m welcomed with a blunt answering - when I explained what had happen there was no apology at all. I explained again that if this was eaten it could’ve ended badly, and why would we wouldn’t order that - he then continued to laugh under his breath and say well I need to know if I need to send some to delivery the masala or are you going to come and collect it. I said I will be collecting it. And then he instantly hung up the phone. ( and my Nann was not quite how I like it ) It’s such a shame that my family and I were not able to eat dinner together at the same time, and we will now have to find another Takeaway which we are happy with. We have been going to Lemon grass for years, so quite upset with the food service and the customer service! # RANT OVER.

My family have been coming here for years to eat in, only just tried here tonight myself for takeaway and honestly the best curry I have had in a few years - good portions too. Food was ready 20mins after placing the order through their website. My mum and her sisters have always said the service is amazing and the staff are always polite. The people working tonight were brilliant.

Had an awful meal, complained and got accusations thrown in my face. Poor restaurant used to be ok 10 years ago. I WONT BE BACK.

Takeaway Friday evening 22nd April, easy for online ordering, food quick delivery 45mins. Popadoms, sources nice. Found wrong order as was given chicken madras instead of ordered lamb madras. Lamb madras was on the order form. Fair play they drove back and gave us a lamb madras with an good will gesture of a mint source & 2 popadoms. Unfortunately the rice as was left was cold, and the lamb madras was swimming in oil and had no taste of flavour. The other ordered meal a chicken jafrazzi wasn’t nice. Personally we won’t be ordering from here again. Will go back to Ruchi curry takeaway.

Awful experience, ruined my birthday dinner. My Dhansak had a 5mm piece of granite in which cracked my tooth. I had a delivery and reported what i Ruined my Birthday meal yesterday. Munching through my Dhansak and almost cracked my teeth on a small 5mm stone. Spent over 30 min checking my mouth and teeth. Called the restaurant and couldnt speak to anyone who cared. Told me mgr will call tomorrow. Never did. Called them spoke again and got a driver turn up 3 hrs later with my money. He didnt want to take the food which i told him 5 times he needs to inspect it to find which dish had the stone or stones in to find where the hell it came from. He then proceeded to basicly say in all the years hes never seen a stone implying i put it in my own food. I lost it. I spent an hour checking and photographing my mouth and teeth. What a cheek. Discusting customer service. Cold food, with a stone in. Maybe from dropping the meat on the floor? Who knows, they dont give a damn just tried fobbing me off with a free next time job. I CANT TRUST YOUR FOOD OR BUSINESS EVER AGAIN. You should have paid me damages (I didnt ask lol) not just a refund me short 5p. Unbelievable. Hence im sharing my great experience. I WONT BE BACK. Fabulous food and service as always.

It’s a shame! We’ve always used Lemongrass for our Indian take always but tonight was not good! For starters I have to chase the order as was late, it then arrived after 1hr 15mins… was left literally on our doorstep in the cold and wet. We took it in and was cold, missing popadoms we had ordered (on the receipt) and the checked was tough… so disappointed. I am really not one to moan so rang the restaurant just to ask for the popadoms (didn’t mention the rest!), they did apologise and said they will send out immediately… we’ll it’s now 9:35pm, an hours after calling, and they close at 10. Gone beyond the popadoms now which I haven’t received but have paid for…

The Tarka Dhal was out of this world and the Tikka Fish has to be my new favourite dish! Our waiter Rafi was so lovely and laughed and joked with us throughout the night presenting our food so beautifully and guiding us through the dishes. We will definitely be back!

To be honest I cannot remember how long the Lemon Grass has been in Shifford Crescent but it is a long time. Every time we order a takeaway it is always excellent but of course I do order the same thing, Tonight after 10 years or so I branched out and ordered the Railway Lamb. What a revelation. I do not usually write reviews about our "local Indian" but my goodness tonight is an exception. Thank you so much. Amazing.

First time experience of this place, ordered a delivery of 3 dishes and a couple of starters - all of which were a disappointment. All the main dishes were chicken - weirdly shaped chicken, definitely not breast meat, it almost had the texture of lamb...

Ordered through JustEat - Food was never delivered. Ordered at 18:14, told delivery would be for 19.25, at the time of writing this review the order has not arrived (currently 21:00) and called the restaurant twice. After being spoken to like a naughty schoolchild the last time I called, with the person on the phone frankly rude and unhelpful, we will never order from them again. Avoid unless you want to wait 24hours for your food to turn up.

We have been coming to the Lemon Grass over the last few years, however hadn’t been for a while. All I can say is it’s improved on par with the Spice Merchant in Cookham for the quality & flavour of the dishes. The service & food has stepped up, we were all so impressed, will definitely be going back. Don’t be put off by where the restaurant is, you will not be disappointed. We will also be getting our takeaways from here, highly recommend.

We known this restaurant for some years and it has gone through a few different iterations but for the last few months the quality and service has been truly excellent. The delivery service is very good and eating in at the restaurant the service is attentive and the food is really good the waiting staff are always delighted to recommend dishes on the menu and to explain the various different offers.

I’ve been using Lemon Grass regularly over past six years, and it has always been very good. However, in recent months the food and service have gone to a higher level.

Visited the Lemon Grass last night for a 50th Birthday celebration with the family. What can I say — from the moment we entered the restaurant we were well looked after. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The food was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Will definitely return and would highly recommend this Indian restaurant.

Had a takeaway last night for 4 adults and 1 child and we all agreed it the best curry we have ever had! All the dishes were cooked to perfection! So so tasty.

This is a really good restaurant to go to but the delivery side has become a little slack.

It’s an unassuming restaurant just off the road between Maidenhead and Cookham. Having lived in the area now for 5 years I think I have been through everything that’s to offer in Marlow Cookham Maidenhead and Windsor and the Lemon Grass is simply the best. It’s also one of the least expensive. Poppadums to start are always fresh and crisp; not the somewhat jaded ones you normally get. Choice of starters is good, and portions on the generous side, but the selection of main courses is terrific.

Best Indian takeaway I have EVER had! The food is not only the best Indian I have had, it is some of my favourite food in Maidenhead! I would suggest coming here for an Indian 1000%

We used to be regulars here but a couple of years ago, the restaurant fell into decline and we stopped going.

We have eaten in the refurnished restaurant and had delivery meals. Both are excellent. The menu is extensive and contains some varied and delicious dishes including old favourites and some new (to me) flavours that make it worth exploring the menu in depth. The service is also excellent. The location may not look exciting but the restaurant is,well worth seeking out and trying.

Returned to Lemon Grass this week after nearly a year. Very impressed by service to match very tasty food. With a little initial pressure our meal order was taken and the food was served pretty quickly. Frequent service on drinks and the food was really good. The menu is quite broad and there are some good fish dishes. Will be returning.

I ordered my food via Just Eat / hungryhouse. Food was on time but was a bit disappointing. I had ordered biryani and for sure I've had better biryani for cheaper.

Went there for dinner with my husband and although the service was good and food tasted ok, I was up all night with a bad stomach. They overcharged us for drinks. For one cider and one J2o they charged £7. Even charged for the popadums on arrival. Not worth the money at all. Also kept hanging around our table and we didnt feel comfortable having our conversation listened to. Wouldn’t go there again!
