The best restaurants serving Default food in Tunbridge Wells South East

One of the most memorable country pub experiences ever! Picturesque surroundings. Historic building. Warm and welcoming staff who cares to make every customer feel at home. Very good wine list with nice selections and many options by the glass. Food was spectacular - made from fresh ingredients and with an individual touch in how it was served. If we had to change one thing - it would be great to have a bigger lager selection on tap. But we'll be back either way. :)

A fabulous dinner out with a good friend. The service was excellent, presentation and meal outstanding. Ambience great. A fantastic experience! My friend had the mussels and I had the salmon salad. Delicious!!

The service was perfect, efficient and super-friendly. Plus they take card payments which not all the Chinese takeaways in town do. The food was lovely too, with very fresh flavours and ingredients. You can taste that it’s good food and not junk, so having a massive Friday feast was a guilt-free.

Booked a Christmas lunch, service was good lovely decorated venue and delicious food Accessible too for my husband in a wheelchair.

Although the server, Amelia, was absolutely so oung her best, stayed cheerful and polite, the fact remained that the small sign that ' half coffee machine' was not working was only at her till did not help the enormously long queue forming. If the sign had be put up at the point the queue devided, it could have saved a lot of people a long wait. I also object to several managers and colleagues popping by and vanishing again instead of helping Amelia in any way or informing the crowd of the issue with the coffee machine. Poor Amelia - you did great, but I felt for you.

Enjoyed a lovely, relaxed brunch here with great food and faultless service. Nothing was too much trouble. The veggie breakfast was especially tasty and good value. The hotel’s elegant restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, helped by its log fire and cosy decor. And our window table had direct views onto The Pantiles, further helping to get us into the Christmas mood. Really recommend this pretty gem in the heart of TW.

Lovely staff made us feel very welcome. Rooms are lovely, anything u need, warm and comfortable. Meals are stunning.

Best fish and chips I have had in ages. Good portion size of both my haddock and chips. Price was fair and chips best I have had in a while. I actually stopped here twice recently (had fish cake other time). Consistency shown as both times I was really happy with the chips. Will be back soon.

Popped in on a rainy saturday after taking the kids to soft play. It was fantastic, so accommodating for children, great pizza, generously portioned salads and such friendly staff. There was 11 of us and they were extremely efficient. Perfect place to pop into for lunch with the family.

Found the manageress less than child friendly and often quite rude. It's a shame because otherwise it would be nice.

Food was well prepared only thing wrong was fillet burger was stone cold.
