Popped in on a rainy saturday after taking the kids to soft play. It was fantastic, so accommodating for children, great pizza, generously portioned salads and such friendly staff. There was 11 of us and they were extremely efficient. Perfect place to pop into for lunch with the family.

So, visited the afternoon boot sale at the Hop Farm and decided to grab something to eat. The place was light and airy, the staff friendly and attentive. A varied menu and something for every taste. As it was getting on, we decided to do a starter and each and a main between us. My wife went for a goats cheese tart to start and I went for nduja sausage doughballs. Both were disastrous - the goats cheese tart was cold, greasy and topped with something that may have been goats cheese in the dim and distant past - it would take a forensic scientist to establish this though. The doughballs were warm, tasteless and may once have been in the same country as a nduja sausage...or maybe not. Bland and fairly bought cheaply from a supermarket. So, let's move on to the main course. A calzone pizza arrives, plump and warm. Thank goodness that they've managed to redeem themselves we think......nope, an absolute car crash of a calzone. All dough. 2 small pieces of chicken - both in my half. A few slivers of cheap packet ham and a couple of spinach leaves - and lots of air. Slimy, inedible and a piss take to be honest. Absolutely no redeeming features to this 'meal, - can't remember the last time we both left a restaurant hungry. Interestingly, not one member of staff asked how the meal was....maybe the truth hurts?Over-priced, poorly 'cooked' and presented, cheap supermarket starters.....avoid at all costs.

The pizza’s were excellent, super choice ( so glad to see Anchovies on the list !) Last time we visited we had been to the Time Quest Escape rooms and got a 10% discount which was a great bonus. This food again was great and didn’t disappoint, there were quite a few new dishes on the menu which was really nice. Will definitely be back :)

We had lunch whilst visiting the Hop Farm - 4 adults and a 2-year old. There is an excellent children's menu (3 courses for £7.95) and each course was devoured with pleasure. The main menu has lots of choice of Pizza, Pasta, Rice, Salads etc - we ended up ordering Pizza, Risotto, Spaghetti and a vegetarian dish. It was clear the dishes were cooked to order and not pre-prepared and all of were excellent quality - great flavours and good portion sizes. Desserts were nicely varied. Service throughout was absolutely excellent and the meal was good value for money. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Had an ok meal here on the weekend.Nice enough starters (calamari, meat balls, bruschetta, mixed starter), kids meals good (including tasty pizza), and main courses were ok too (pasta, tuna salad, pizza). Wine was so-so, service again was okSo, overall.....just ok, nothing bad but nothing wow either. Would I go back? If we were at the Hop Farm again, then yes but wouldn’t go out of my way otherwise

Had a great meal of pizza and pasta with the family, not crowded at all and a good opportunity to get away from the campsite noise. Wonderful Desserts - recommendable!

We happened upon this restaurant by chance, we walked passed it on our way to a pub we have visited regularly. We thought it looked interesting, but continued on our way. The pub has changed hands as was horrible so we came back and were so glad we did. The food was excellent, the hospitality was friendly and warm without being overbearing. We were so impressed we came back the next night.

My Saturday was very exciting as my family and I went to visit the Hop Farm as many of my friends have recommended it.My friends have also recommended me to visit this Italian restaurant which is beside the farm. The lively environment was bright and clean, The service was ok, however as an Italian restaurant you expect the classic Italian pasta dishes we all know and love. My son ordered a spaghetti carbonara, and I ordered a four cheese Penne pasta unfortunately for the chef and the restaurant I have been in the business for just over 20 years, working in london for many different places learning to make said carbonara from scratch among other dishes. I’m expecting a carbonara with an eggy creamy sauce with the perfect balance of moisture and the traditional flavour of Guanciale bacon but I receive a rather disappointing smoky bacon and scrambled eggs with aldente pasta. My pasta was well cooked but for the price it was very poor ; poor presentation and the amount as if it was a starter size. I do understand the business matter but it’s important like a company to make an effort when it comes to customer satisfaction. By the way they were very keen on preparing the carbonara a second time although we didn’t only receive a clone of the previous carbonara but an angry chef to see who had complained.I’ve returned to London, my friends keen on how my experience was in the Italian restaurant I had to say the truth... don’t go there.I do understand I am just a simple client and this doesn’t affect your company but with the money I payed I could’ve eaten much better.

We came to Due Amici after quad bike ride. The lady greeted us. She was really friendly I made us feel like we part of the family. The food was gorgeous. We ordered starters and lasagne and pizza for mains. The lasagne was delicious and really home made. The pizza was amazing. We could not have enough. At the end the owner offered us a ride back to the main station. Amazing people and food. We were surprised how cheap everything was.( thank you so Much Wagamama team)

Felt ripped off for a non home made desert from a mass produced cake supplier that makes the same deserts for Iceland frozen products. We tried the chocolate cake, torte non and cheesecake all awful. The slices are tiny for the price of £5.60!! The fresh mint tea was decent but avoid desserts!

Came in for lunch with my mum and daughter. We were seated at a table that hadn’t been cleared away from the previous people. Our drinks were delivered to the wrong table, we had to tell the waitress that they were us and then the same happened with our food. People were arriving and being told to wait even though there were tables empty. People were being seated at tables that had not been cleaned.

Turned up yesterday to have lunch at 1:30 pm. Was told no room and it would take too long despite half the restaurant having empty tables left with 3 unhappy hungry children. Hop farm we had just left was too overcrowded and thought this would be a nice place to eat. No offer to come back later or wait times just told no.

Visiting friends in the area. Decided to have lunch and found this wonderful restaurant. I’m quite fussy about what I eat. I ordered lasagne and garlic bread and my husband ordered pepperoni pizza and salad. It was fabulous, freshly cooked and generous portions. The pudding of tiramisu finished off the meal perfectly. Staff very attentive nothing was to much trouble.

Staff was nice but didn’t seem to know what they were doing. It took ages to get our drinks and a whole lot longer to get our food! When it eventually came I could not believe it the lasagne looked like it had come from pound land and been cut in half! It was served in a white dish that had black burn marks all over it. I immediately sent it back and didn’t order anything else. My daughters bolognese was terrible Flavourless Stodge. The calzone also had cheep processed ham in it. And then the got the bill at nearly £60. AVOID this place

I had my son’s 10th birthday party here. The staff went to great lengths to please us and cater for our party of 45. The food was excellent. The kids loved their pizzas. I like that the kids could have their own space to play so the adults could have some relaxing time. I would definitely recommend

This restaurant has certainly improved since our last visit which had been a disaster. The staff are lovely here and cannot do enough to get it right. The food was freshly cooked - starter and main were good though I would like some more traditional items on the menu apart from pizza and pasta. The dessert was to die for. We will return soon.

Booked the private room for a work gathering. It was on the advice of some colleagues - so went with it. Was not impressed that I was told 12.5% would be added to every drink and the buffet. It was non negotiable. On the evening the room looked pretty and the staff were nice, especially the gentleman who I think, may run the restaurant. He was excellent. When I queried the amount of food for the £400 we had paid - he couldn’t have been more helpful in replenishing it. However I thought this was damage limitation, as the snooty serving staff said - yes, this is it! I am not convinced the service charge goes to the staff - so I get her attitude. But overall, it is overpriced and not a patch on Carluccio’s.

It was a great catch up meal with friends. Was pleasantly surprised that the noise volume was much better than I'd expected within the place and therefore it was easy to hear each other whilst we chatted even with a large party nearby. Was warm but not hot environment. Toilet facilities were clearly marked and easy to access and very clean. Food was good however honey dough balls were slightly spice than anticipated and it wasn't until finished the starter that realised the honey was in the side dish and not actually over the balls when served 😅. All friends had the new salad in middle of pizza ..novelty idea but looked nice and I had pollo pesto which was lovely and had to finish with tirimasu 😋. Another nice idea that they now do is the mini dessert with coffee or tea on the side..brilliant idea 💡. Great evening and thank you Pizza Express for the excellent table service.

First to arrive for an early pre-concert meal, so lacked atmosphere until other diners arrived. Didn't look open so needs work on lighting, but the food is outstanding. The Chef/patron took our order and then cooked it to our exact requirements, quite happy to substitute items in the Carbonara--mushrooms and courgette for Pancetta-, and gluten-free pasta for my wife. Substantial portions with surprisingly generous amounts of prawns and monkfish in the linguine. Just needs a little tweak with the presentation and the decor.as the food is very good indeed.
