The best restaurants serving Default food in Tunbridge Wells South East

Food was just a pot of grease. Poppadum were stale. And all meal was completely tastless and not hot £29 worth of food in the bin

We tried the new Clocktower Bistro expecting mediocre food. We were pleasantly surprised at the service (very busy) and delighted with our lunch, a creamy jacket potato with cheese and home made coleslaw plus a good crisp. side salad...all for £6.50. Great value will use regularly.

We had been let down by a baker for our daughters wedding cake the day before the wedding and Ruby graciously agreed to come in specially and make a wedding cake that was spectacular. We cannot thank you enough.

This is for the restaurant only. The food is seriously overrated and completely overpriced. What a sad experience! We decided to celebrate a birthday there due to positive online reviews, but at this price point, the meal was the most disappointing we've ever had. The burger comes as a pathetic little dry piece of meat stuck between a burnt bun. No chips or anything, for this you have to pay extra. Actually, you'll have to pay for extra sides to accompany your main. They are priced as a great quality restaurant, but what you get is mediocre food. We decided to cut it short and didn't even order dessert. They brought a slice of cake with a candle on it as a birthday freebie, which was nice but sadly uninteresting and forgettable. Never again - the whole experience was laughable. The views are wonderful though.

£17 for a gluten free burger and a tiny bit of rocket salad, does not sell it for us to return I'm afraid. We were told the chips would be fried with other things that may contain gluten, so rather than offer anything else, we were made to pay the full price simply for a burger and rocket! When we queried this, the bar staff said quite rudely laughing at us, "There is no option to make it cheaper, it's £17 I'm afraid." We appreciate gluten free bread can be harder to provide, and can sometimes be harder than usual bread, but this really was dry.

Would've been much higher but unfortunately spent ages waiting on a gentle man in a white t - shirt who turned out out to be the manger from r our collection, food as a result was cold so was disappointing due to the money spent

Always a great experience. The food was great and Andra looked after us beautifully. One of our favourite restaurants at the moment - keep it up!

Food was generally quite nice but service was slow. Granted it was mother's day, but it took about an hour for our food to come.

Great traditional pub. Good beer selection and a brilliant quiz.

Delivery driver was rude and didn’t listen, wouldn’t come to my door, my order was missing a drink, and then when he did come to my door didn’t listen to the code and opened my door without permission

Sat outside which was nice. Not on a road so no traffic. Good beers. Red wine was good.

Had the tasting menu - absolutely fabulous , great choice - wine pairing was exceptional ! Definitely will order again !! Waitress was amazing too, with extensive knowledge of each dish ! Marvellous. 🤩
