Ruby’s in Tunbridge Wells

We had been let down by a baker for our daughters wedding cake the day before the wedding and Ruby graciously agreed to come in specially and make a wedding cake that was spectacular. We cannot thank you enough.

During my visit to Ruby's Tunbridge Wells cafe with my son, we noticed that two tables were available but uncleaned. I approached the lady at the till politely and asked if she could clean the table next to the window. After waiting patiently for her to become available, she proceeded to clean a different table instead of the one I had requested. I kindly asked her if she could clean the other table as it had some sunlight. In response, she made a frustrated remark like "Oh god!" before reluctantly going to clean the table I had initially asked for. As she returned, she looked at me and made a displeased expression. This behaviour was highly unprofessional and childish on the part of the young staff member. I am left wondering if the staff receive proper training and are monitored for their conduct.

The best cakes in town. We just went in for cakes, as it was my friends birthday, and they do gluten free. My friend was delighted they plated her cake up, and gave her a lit candle on top.. Really lovely staff.

Enjoyed our lunch and delicious cake and coffee. Didn’t realise that it was a vegan cafe until ordering coffee, and am now converted to the oat milk flavour! Fresh , airy ambience and lovely staff. Will return to sample more of those amazing cakes on next visit to Tunbridge Wells.

I stopped here today was very nice on the in side cakes look nice it’s a vegan cafe staff helpful and polite wouldn’t say it was cheap was surprised to see dogs in there as they do food guess it’s a market that hasn’t been tapped into before with food not sure will call again if in the area but if that’s your thing then it’s call just not for me

I went here with a vegan friend, not realising everything was vegan… it was absolutely lovely, fantastic food, great service. Lots of choices. Will definitely go back

A very pretty cafe, decorated with pictures, flowers, pink & whites. A minimalist feel. Order at the counter, take a seat. Plenty of milk alternative options to choose from! (No dairy- which we didn’t realise). So it’s a vegan cafe. Although nothing about the cafe or signage would suggest this. Oat latte was fine. Nice choice of chilled drinks too. A few cakes available, but we didn’t opt for any this time. Would visit again if in the area
