The best restaurants serving Default food in Abbey Test Valley South East

I went with my uncle and he mentioned the £1 tea deal about every twenty minutes we were there. He was amazed! I'm gluten, dairy allergies and veggie and describe this as the best kept secret in Romsey. They even do gluten free waffles/pancakes and bagels which is unlike ANYWHERE else. The cost is amazing and the staff so attentive. We were hidden round the corner but they still remembered to check in and offer us a tea refill frequently!

A lovely cafe with great food and service. The coffee is particularly good as is the eggs Benedict. The staff were friendly and were very helpful with my daughter's dietary requirements. There were plenty of vegan and gluten free options she could choose from. The outside seating area is nice for sunny days.

A friendly warm welcome in a lovely cosy room, unfortunately the car park is fairly small. We chose the one item that was not available on the menu that day which was a shame. We did however enjoy our burger options but we were after something special as it was a birthday treat. My husband enjoyed the real ales on offer. We will definitely be returning.

I popped in here first lunch, on a recommendation, and was suitably impressed.....will definitely return. I thoroughly enjoyed the mushrooms on toast with added poached egg - considerably elevated above what you might normally expect! And it's a nice location, particularly if you like people watching.

I have been to Suan Thai restaurant twice now, and both times have been a wonderful experience. The food is incredible. Absolute perfection. My friend and I want to return many times to try everything on the menu as we believe it will all be cooked with the attention, love and care as the dishes we’ve had so far. The service is excellent and the ambience is low lighting special night out kind of vibe. I love it here.

Works xmas party! Bit bias as I worked here for along time however, the food was amazing, eberyone loved there choice! Staff were great and it wasn't just because I knew everyone. The whole restaurant was buzzing and lively! Great night had by all.

9 of us arrived for coffee and the service and coffee was excellent. Then our group of 11 returned for lunch. The service and food quality. was perfect and nothing was to much trouble. We would certainly recommend this venue and will definitely return .

My sister booked the cafe for a surprise Christmas present for myself and our mum.The cafe you have to book time slots of which you can only turn up a few minutes beforehand and you get let in due to the cats being loose.The staff here were all very friendly and the while idea with the cats and cat theme is brilliant the only reason this place didn't get a five star was the fact I had a waffle to eat which came with ice cream and no one told me it was vegan as I kept saying this ice cream taste weird and put me off the waffle hot chocolate was delicious from here too

Fresh ice cream for sale in the corn market on a little stall , the taste is lovely and creamy although a tad expensive so would only have as a treat

I went with my friends and partner to watch the England v Spain game. Sadly England lost but the atmosphere was still great in there. The land lady made sure she found a seat for everyone, grabbing the garden chairs from the back and rearranging the tables so everyone could get a glimpse of a goal. When the match was ending, all of the tables were given a bowl of roasties to share on the house. The land lady was chatty and kind. The staff were also really nice. It is a small pub on the edge of romsey but I would definitely go there again.

Visited several times and never disappointed. Lovely coffee and savouries, friendly service. The flapjack is to die for 😮

We visited as a group of 6 friends. Some of our group had already been for food here, and had been so enthusiastic about it, that we arranged this meal. We had lunch, and tried several dishes and the cheese and platter board between us, and wine suggested by the owner and his son. It was a brilliant meal, food was great, wine very good, but the atmosphere was like our visits to France, relaxed and friendly, nothing to rush for, very nice. I think you are likely to have to book ahead, it seemed very busy and popular. Great afternoon.

Pretty much was the same pizza you can order from anywhere else but with less toppings and more expensive … to be avoided

To the guy who worked 27th dec all by himself, was amazing. I’ve recently moved to the area and my partner and I found this coffee shop, it’s so lovely and it was the second time we went today. The gentleman was all by himself and he worked very hard even though it was super busy. Overall, service and coffee was EXCELLENT 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
