The best restaurants serving Default food in Spelthorne South East

We visited with family who live in Staines. The menu says the bbq specials at between £50 and £65 are for two people so we got two. We also had a couple of chicken dishes which came as starters at just under £20 each. They only had one of their two Korean beers and they are £8 a bottle! They didn’t have any tonic and so my partners G&T was off the cards and she had to have a £10 cocktail. Service was very average (although added to the bill at over £20). We had to constantly go to the back of the restaurant for things we needed and things we’d asked for and they forgot to bring (napkins, lettuce, more drinks etc). In fairness a waitress did bring an extra little bit of one of the appetisers we had liked and they did apologise on a couple of occasions. There was also an abnormally large (and noisy) table of about 12 to 16 blokes but in truth they weren’t demanding too much attention. The BBQ was pretty good but not exceptional with a selection of cuts of meat (and two prawns😂). In truth the beef platter with the starters would have been enough for four. At about £240 for four it was expensive for what it was and we wouldn’t go again.

Absolutely appalled by this eatery... Not only did I use them 5 times in a row to take advantage of the Stamp Card system... They claim that it's not valid here.. Yet the JE app confirms they do... Even JE confirmed this... I went to use my "Well earned" 16 quid credit, bearing in mind, I'd spent 5 x £30.. The cheeky mofus canceled the order.. I'll never use them again and the arrogance of the staff made me sick.. I'll pop in one day and have a word in person 😉😉😉

I rarely go to a subway but my son wanted to try it, the staff were barely interested, we weren’t offered a choice of breads and apparently I wasn’t allowed any salad in my sub as it was already wrapped/ hadn’t been offered. Frqnchise like these ruin the brand name. I won’t go back in my lifetime. Sunbury cross subway youre useless.

Popped in for coffee and toast on a Sunday morning with a friend. Efficient service, I love their toast. The place was clean and quite busy.

Exquisite selection of food. Lovely chicken doner. Every time I indulge, my taste buds emancipate a splendid meal and I am never disappointed.

The team were absolutely brilliant at organising food etc at very late notice for my aunts after funeral get together… I would highly recommend them for their hospitality, kindness and efficiency… thank you all…😊

Chips is the best here brilliantly made very good. The staff are quite friendly and good helpful, always first class services. Fish isn't to bad either, chips potions and the price is not bad

So I live local to this pub and have visited it many times. The menu regularly changes and previously the food has been good. However on my latest visit we ordered three dishes from the Tapas menu namely the nachos, satay chicken and halloumi. Upon arrival of the nachos the chef had made the cardinal sin of using sauce out of a plastic bottle to replicate sour cream, salsa and guacamole. The fact that this was rank sauce was squirted in three lines across the nachos made the dish inedible. The satay chicken was good but again the sauce had obviously come out of a bottle. The halloumi was passable. Tapas should be bog standard for a chef and not thrown together by taking short cuts and replacing fresh products with muck from a plastic bottle.
