Burger Plus in Spelthorne

Kebab I got delivered was a joke…wouldn’t pay 50p for this. How you can serve this meal and try to hide the origins of the store over Uber Eats sums up your standards.

Kebab didnt taste like kebab meat….

Shouldn’t call yourself gourmet if you’re going to produce standard burgers. The burger wasn’t bad but I was expecting something better, something special, something gourmet. Granted I only got the BBQ beef burger but it was mainly thick onions with a beef patty and no cheese that I specifically asked for. Fries looked refried and were a little chewy. I was disappointed. ☹️

Ordered through just eat, to say that it was terrible is paying them a compliment. If I could my score would be a minus. The delivery was late, the food was all cold, and they couldn’t even get the order right. Two of the burgers came in wraps, the excuse being that they had run out of buns. The cheesy chips were awful and didn’t even look edible. All in all it was a total disaster and we will never be using them again.

Ridiculous service, been waiting on the counter for about 5mins they guy he didn’t even asked me what I want to order, and the after when I called him he said to me straight without knowing what I was going to order that’s the order gonna take 20mins because I need to deal with the delivery I can’t serve you right away.

AVOID! had only a burger from there, then i got food poisoning and it’s been days of stomach pain and vomiting. then i saw they have a HYGIENE SCORE of 1/5. the man was shaking randomers hands and touching screens then proceeding to handle food without washing his hands. everything was dirty and sticky… AVOID!

Do not get the kebab it is disgusting and quite frankly appalling. Chips were undercooked they may as well have just given me a sliced up potato.

Loads of choice, I had Hot and Spicy burger, other half had Doner King burger. Ate in, served on a little wooden tray and with a basket of chips. Well presented, well cooked and served with a dash of humour from John the owner. If I was in Staines again I definitely go back.

Been here so many times with my family and friends for a quick bite to eat always 10/10. I highly recommend and Zabi is a gentleman and always provides good customer service. Thank you

I ordered from Deliveroo, and it took some time to get to me, but the fries were perfect, the beef and grilled chicken burgers were perfectly cooked and seasoned well, and the wings were great but a bit too salty, if they could tone down the salt on the wings a bit that'd be great, but other than that the wings were also perfectly cooked and overall I was impressed. Will come again iA.

I never leave bad reviews on restaurants as I’m usually happy to eat, even with poor service. However if I could give lower than 1 star, I would, as this establishment has terrible delivery standards. I ordered food for me and 1 other and the quality was abhorrent. Undercooked chicken, stale chips, and no tissue, despite every other restaurant I’ve ordered from providing tissue as a staple. The milkshakes are foamy and hard to drink. There was also false advertising. Burger Plus is known as “Gourmet Kebab Kitchen” on Uber, making it hard to even contact to file a complaint. If you see this place on Uber, do NOT trust what the descriptions say as we ordered one thing and several items were missing from it. There are literally hundreds of better restaurants in the Egham/Staines area, please do yourself a massive favour and avoid this establishment.

Avoid Kebab from there at all costs. Sainsbury fake kebab tastes better than this. 8.99 for 150g of doggy meat with grit in it. No salad no love. Embarassing. If could rate below 0 I would.

I came there today and ordered chicken burger for take away , and what i have seen when i open that it has chicken and as well as red meat , i specially order only chicken burger .. Worst experience and u should listen carefully what customer is asking for and i never eat red meat , totally waste of money .

Very disappointed. For a burger place that advertises ‘gourmet’ burgers, to then be served a burger no different than what you’d get in any kebab shop was highly disappointing. Also took a good 15 minutes just for a plain burger to he cooked so best of going to a kebab shop. If I wanted a rubbery burger, I would have. Kebab shops don’t take as long!

Customer service was great, the owner was working hard in the kitchen and was a lovely guy to have a chat with, filled us in on some local places to go for some good food and a drink, hands down best burgers for money and customer service all around. Do wish there was more tables, but I don’t think anything could top the customer service we received.

For a distance of 2 miles they spend one hour to deliver your burger , too long to prepare a piece of meat and some chips … they came cold and awful :(

Myself and son were visiting thorpe Park for the weekend, after 9hrs in the park we returned to our hotel in staines Town centre. It was a busy Saturday night we decided for takeaway then back to our room. Saw this and wasn't dissapointed, the owner was nothing short of charming and hilarious. He welcomed us, advised us, gave us more than we ordered, whilst waiting for our meals to be cooked fresh he made conversation. He was polite and extremely friendly. The food was hot and delicious. A brilliant takeaway.

Ordered food for delivery and only half the items actually turned up. Not only this but the other half of items that did turn up was soggy and disgusting. I’ve had food from the Burger Plus in Kingston and it is really good. No problems at all, all our food arrived and tasted good but I am shocked at how awful this one in Staines is. If you’re getting Burger Plus stay away from this restaurant!!!!

Our visit to BURGER PLUS was amazing, everything was perfect starting from the customer service that was exceptional & very friendly, the food preparation time was fast and then we have enjoyed the Beef and the Chicken Burgers… they were tasty and full of flavour, everything was home made of course. You won’t regret your visit to BURGER PLUS ♥️

Ordered via Uber eats and the driver misunderstood the delivery, he didn't use Uber app to get to me, he used wayz which directed him to somewhere else, then returned my delivery to restaurant who were just as unhelpful and kept my money and made no attempt to rectify the issue. The restaurant made all kinds of excuses to avoid their obligation to deliver then hung up the phone on me. So they kept my money and did not provide my food. Appalling display of service, avoid at all cost!!

Very mediocre. You can tell the meat quality is fairly low, and the flavour of the burger itself is OK. It just doesn't taste very fresh and succulent. The sauce that came alongside it was quite nice though, but that's where the praise ends. I wouldn't order from here again most likely.

Ordered 3 grilled burger meals for collection, came home and one of the meals was missing chips. (Each meal cost £8). Called up the store and they didnt care or even offer to send out the chips with one of their delivery drivers. Nice halal burger joint in Staines. Sat in with the wife and both really enjoyed it. She got the firehouse grilled chicken and I got the mixed kebab. Burger was definitely the stand out of both. Would definitely have again and recommend to others!

Had the worst experience of ordering delivery which seems to be the narrative around the comments. I ordered via Uber eat but inserted wrong postcode. However, it is close to my place anyway. Driver arrived and I tried to instruct him back to my place. All he replied is ‘ I don’t know where ‘ as he moved further away At the end, he asked me go pick up the food from him which is already so far away. He said things like ‘It is your fault entering wrong location’ ‘I have waited for 30 mins’ (which was only 15 mins since his first call). I was going to give him extra tips at first knowing that I have used the wrong post code. Well, I guessed his poor attitude didn’t just damaged the reputation of this shop, but making himself earning less.

Unfortunately this is the first review I have ever made, but I feel compelled to. Order was 50 minutes after the time stated on Uber eats, the drinks were warm and the food was cold. To top all that the chicken burger I had was absolutely hanging, gross food that I shouldn’t have eaten and Im definitely suffering today with some kind of food poisoning. Stay away

Abysmal. Order never arrived though they claimed to have delivered it twice, fortunately I have a Ring Doorbell so know for a fact they didn't. Said they left it on the doorstep of a house number our street doesn't even have so I can only assume they delivered it to a similar sounding street elsewhere. Had to call the store several times and even resorted to speaking to an online agent who sadly couldn't resolve the issue either, and after 3 hours of nothing I gave up and ordered from the Charcol Grill instead. Have spoke to my bank and will be charging it back ASAP. A real shame as I have ordered from their Ashford Branch plenty of times and never had an issue. Though with this experiance I am done with the company as a whole. If you wish to try them out though, use the Ashford Branch, avoid the Staines one like the plague Edit: After reading some of the other reviews it seems that I am not alone with people who didn't get their orders at all. disgraceful

AWFUL, RUDE AND A BAD PLACE TO ORDER FROM! Firstly, food got delivered to wrong place, secondly waited over an hour to even expect our food, then when we didn’t receive the food called them was put on hold and then just not answered so we kept trying took 7 times before they answered, this was 12pm when I finally got through the person I spoke to was disrespectful and rude kept saying he will call the manager but never did and then put the food down then said we can’t have a refund, then ended the call. So I kept calling and he picked up again and I said that I want to talk to the manager now and then all of a sudden he will send food out but it won’t be until the next day which would’ve been technically that night however we was hungry and would’ve been once they opened again. Got so frustrated I said I will be going in tomorrow to talk to a manager and ended the call. Fair to say after tomorrow never ordering again the man I spoke to was rude and disrespectful and when you are working in a restaurant you learn to deal with customers in a certain way. DONT ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT DISAPPOINTMENT. This isn’t the first time either which makes things worse.

DO NOT ORDER: Not good at all. Food was 2 hours late and we noticed that the first delivery driver delivered our order to a different address on our street. I know this as I informed the restaurant of what happened and they confirmed that it was him by providing us a description of the delivery man. My partner had approached him to ask if he had our delivery and he said he didn't. So he lied to us. We got our food redelivered but I know there is, without any doubt, a SCAM going on here. STAY AWAY.
