The best restaurants serving Default food in Stony Stratford Milton Keynes South East

This is a restaurant in a magnificent Grade 1 listed building with superb food and service, so it was sad for me to be be the only customer this lunchtime. I had a Business lunch of lamb jalfrezi with naan, plus large Cobra beer and poppadom for under £16. Delicious! There is no excuse not to go once a week if you live or work near Stony Stratford.

It’s a very relaxed place to be and my daughter Victoria is loved by all the staff and very friendly and great service.

Sorry, I have never given a 1* in all my reviews. We ordered steak, now I know steak can be temperamental but this was awful. A medium rare steak came back well done, dry and tasteless. I sent mine back and what returned wasn't any better. My wife ate hers because she don't like to complain. The table next to us did exactly the same and sent both their steaks back. Really spoiled our supposedly romantic valentines evening. In my opinion I would avoid a restaurant that can't cook steak at all cost. Cannot recommend!

Hands down one of the best pizza's MK has to offer. And always updates the menu with new pizzas!

Amazing food, brilliant service, overall a great evening out

Visited for an evening meal for my wife's birthday. Polite and friendly service. Wonderful meal. Plates were served hot before the food. The duck in the Panaeng curry was tender as was the pork stir fried with the cashew nuts. The Yellow beef curry was also tasty. All washed down with a couple of Leo beers.

Great coffee and super friendly staff. Nice choice of cakes and snacks too. Good interaction with the staff. Had some fun with them.

Food full of flavour spring rolls and chicken sweetcorn beautiful duck so tender mina who runs restaurant made us feel so welcome always smiling definitely be back

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, comfy room and bed. Great location. Sadly I can't stay again as the WiFi in the room couldn't support a teams call (no camera) and there was no phone signal to hotspot. I'm disappointed as this would have been a hotel of choice.

Fastest takeaway in MK ready in ten minutes to pickup. Excellent friendly service and great value for money.

the pizza is so spicy it's impossible to eat, but everything else is delicious

Waited at the bar, apparently inbisible to get a drink. About 15 mins in i asked one of the bar staff putting glasses in the cleaner if she could pour me a drink when finished. No reply, but looked at me like it was a ridiculous request. Two girls next to me said to her you should make him wait now, to which she replied "i was going to do that anyway." Waited 10 more minutes for a drink, none forthcoming, so i left. I have been here several times before when on crawls in stony, and never had any problems. Unsure if new management or just a drop in service. Either way, will not be coming again.

Firstly they had lost our booking despite having asked us to pre order which we had done. They did manage to fit us in but the food (roast Sunday lunch) was poor. The dessert we had chosen was crumble with custard both of which were only luke warm. My gin and tonic was served in a dirty glass with warm flat tonic. We ate here with the same family members a year ago, it was not great then. I will not be going there again.

5 stars all around. Lovely Food, nice setting & the evening was topped off a treat by the very polite and professional Kelly. Couldn't do enough for me and my mum especially with all her Greene King Question's being a fellow Greene King Employee herself. She even gave her a Map of all the Greene King Pubs / Hotels around the UK. Nothing nicer than service with a smile. Thank you.

This is a regular pop in for small lunch whilst shopping. 2 problems Why give tiny plate for chicken burger & chips? I always have to ask for normal plate. The 2nd there is a sign in the restaurant saying ONLY FOOD TO BE EATEN IF PURCHASED FROM THIS RESTAURANT I fully agree with this BUT when we visited for lunch on Monday there were ten teenagers with rucksacks all consuming their own food out of plastic containers & others eating food purchased in the store taking up all the middle of the restaurant. I asked at the information desk why do they let people eat their own food in the restaurant his answer - “THE MANAGEMENT DOSE NOT LIKE CONFRONTATION , SO THEY WON”T SAY ANYTHING!”. Come on Waitrose wake up & get your act together!
