First Class Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Don't be put off by the outside. And, yes it is a little dated inside. But, this restaurant serves great food. The staff are really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will definitely eat here again. Sorry I didn't take photos, I was enjoying the evening and I forgot.

Lovely Chinese restaurant, food delicious, staff very friendly and attentive, and the price very reasonable a lovely little find on stony Stratford high street, would highly recommend.

Great little resturant . Situated in the High streeet in Stony Stratford. The Deep fried squid was very good. The shredded chilli beef also. We will come again .

A very warm place with a fantastic atmosphere. Menu is diverse with a lot of variety and many spectacular dishes. All of the food is brilliant and delicious. The multiple times that I have been were great and truly a good experience. I would definitely eat again and I urge lots of people to try it. The staff is friendly and welcoming - no problems there, and the place is constantly clean and spotless.

The food was appalling, we asked for extra spice and non of the dishes had flavour or spice, the one dish we asked not spicy was extra pricy. We ordered Starters, Mains, Side Dishes & Dessert. No at all worth the price we paid. We complained and then they came to collect the food and swore at my son during this. For the first time we had Chicken in Chilly & Garlic which had Pineapple & Bell Peppers with just 4 pieces of chicken. Wont be ordering from them again for sure. Worse Chinese Ever!

Absolutely stunning I’ve been eating here for over 10 years and the food is always on point. Friendly staff and always paying attention Lots of yummy dishes as well, best Chinese in all of MK!

It's unusual that going out for a meal with children makes you feel MORE welcomed as a family, but that was the case here! A large group of us, accommodated with no fuss and the children were made to feel really special (and we weren't made to feel like an inconvenience). Add to that how delicious the food is and we won't be hesitating to go back!

As vegetarians/vegans we were looking forward to trying food here. Imaging our shock when we noticed so-called Vegetarian food has Crustaceans as an allergy. It's 2024 how are restaurants still think that vegetarians eat shellfish. Shocking!!!

Excellent food, service and ambience

This returant is extremley cold unlikley no heating on and asked for it to be put on. Staff wearing jackets. Coldness made meal ambience poor. Great company made the evening ...

Starters were Terrible not hot and Thai fish cakes were shocking. Everything was not hot and very bland. Had no lamb and duck was rubbery.

I was recommended to try The First Class Chinese Restaurant by a friend. I organise meals out before the comedy nights which are held in the Fox and Hounds in Stony Stratford. So, I need a reliable place that can serve a large number of people quickly and is flexible about the numbers being booked. The First Class Chinese Restaurant fitted the bill perfectly. The menu is extensive and although there aren't many vegan options shown, because all the food is cooked freshly to order they can adapt anything. I was offered a vegan version of Singapore noodles that wasn't even on the menu. I paired that with the Brockley and garlic side dish which was plenty big enough. The food came out very quickly, tasted really fresh and was also super hot. They easily served us all in a calm and relaxed way in plenty of time to get to the Fox and Hounds for the comedy. Everybody said how lovely the food was and we all agreed we'd come back again. By the way, the prices were also very reasonable. the whole meal including drinks only cost £20 per head. That's really good value for the quality of food and service we received. There is of course lots of choice for restaurants in Stony Stratford. Have been eating here for years! Only a couple of Chinese restaurants in MK that have such a large selection for vegetarians. Love it!

Visit this small restaurant regularly. Good, tasty food with a lot of choice. Service is good.

Just home from one of the tastiest Chinese food ive ever eaten. Lovely attentive staff too. Will definitely visit again.

Was staying in the area for work and needed to go out for food so decided to pop in for a Chinese. The staff are lovely, the food came out really quickly (within ten minutes) and tasted great! Could do with some more larger options and maybe some portions could be bigger for what you’re paying but apart from that will be back if working in the area again! Would recommend the satay chicken and crispy chili beef :)

Love it. By far my favourite Chinese restaurant, eat in or takeaway.

Visited this place last year and returned again last weekend. Service was very good and we did not have to book. The place was quite chilly however and needed better heating as it was quite cold outside. Upstairs where the toilets are was freezing. The food was outstanding though and portions quite large. We had one of the buffet menus and the variety and quality was excellent as was the price. We would return.

Ordered takeaway on Friday night, was told it would be an hour for delivery and that was fine, except 1hr 30 minutes later no Chinese so rang them said it would be here soon. It arrived 15 minutes later, well I'm sorry to say it is the most disgusting think every and was completely unedable, curry was swimming in oil and had no taste to it, chips where raw, prawn balls over cooked and my husband said was like eating a piece of rubber and as for ribs well that was like eating leather. We have always used them and never has it been like this. The standards of this place has really gone down.

My Wife & I visited this evening. No booking , we were greated and even though they were busy a great table was found. Very welcoming. What can we say about the food...fantastic...all 3 courses...superb! Well worth a visit, we will be back.

we ordered a takeaway from here and it took over an hour n half to get here. once the food arrived it was cold, overcooked and burnt! the food had no flavour and was all dry and grizzly. i do not recommend and i won’t be going here again!!!

A superb and excellent service. The vegetarian pancake rolls are delicious, the crispy duck is perfect with generous portions of shredded onion and cucumber, all the main courses we have tried are superb.

Duck and pancakes is done really well with crispy duck. Starter platter is very good quality and reasonably priced. Very busy Saturday nights, advise to book.

Sadly I tried this take away for the first time tonight it was awful, very expensive tasteless egg and garlic fried rice, awful and tasteless chicken and beef chow mein, curry sauce was rank ,bbq ribs were not bad and the spring rolls stodgey and tasteless, will not be using this take away again, I can't rate this sadly only gave a one star so I could post a review , I was on the loo not even half hour later after eating this Very disappointed 😞

Only ordered takeaways - the portion are generous, well cooked and tastes great. Will be my go to place for a takeaway. The restaurant was not busy but it was early Saturday evening. The phone rang constantly a good sign the restaurant is popular

The Mrs was out shopping with her daughter for most of the day , myself and the daughters boyfriend were grafting in the garden building a shed. So no one needed to cook took a punt on First Class Restaurant - what a great decision ! Made the call, very polite lady took our oder for 4 at around 7.30pm and was advised order would be about an hour. Sure enough 8.25pm door bell and three large bags of food. , we had ordered a mixture so we could try a little of everything, the food was piping hot, very tasty, nothing was oily or greasy, the portion were very generous. Possibly the best Chinese I have had in years and will definitely now be the preferred take out/delivery. In fact its so good we have decided to try the restaurant next time we are out.

We had what I can only describe as bad a meal as possible, I ordered king prawn sweet & Sour which describe as having been cooked the first time days ago, how can they send out a order like that, would they serve that in the restaurant- I should hope not, Definitely will order from them again🤮 pity I had to give a star at all

My family and I have been having takeaways from this restaurant for years and we have never been disappointed - the food is always exceptional and delicious, the staff are lovely and friendly and create a family feel, and their delivery time is so fast!! Their food is so good and we will never go anywhere else for our takeaway

Brilliant food, fast service and very good for value.

We ordered a takeaway this evening after having a delicious takeaway from here a month ago. It was a completely different experience today. The squid was tough and chewy and soggy batter and tasted stale. The seaweed was burnt and the prawn toasts were like soggy cardboard. The duck was very dry but the mains were all ok. For £76 we feel let down. None of the food tasted fresh.

Second time in a row we used this place and very late and cold both times!

Total disaster!!! The last time we ordered here it was 2 hours late and stupidly we ordered here as our usual take away was busy. 2 hours and 15 minutes to drive 1.8miles seriously? Had to chase numerous times, person on phone didn't care whatsoever when it arrived at 9 pm it was guess what COLD!! We spent £58 as a family treat for a boring 2020 NYE and it was frankly disgusting! I should have set fire to the money as it was mostly binned. Terrible tasteless food and appalling service. Never ever going there again we will stat loyal to our normal one up the road!! Thanks for ruining our NYE

One of the things that Stony Stratford suffers from is no good Chinese restaurant. The first class is always hit or miss. Last night the chicken chow mien was burnt I would say 20% of onions and noodles burnt black - what chef would ever send that out. Never again for me thanks.

Our first takeaway from here and we thoroughly recommend. All our dishes were delicious and we will be returning again soon.

Best Chinese food in the area, very fresh tasting. Mainly have deliveries which are always brought by the friendliest chap I've met but have also eaten at the restaurant and had the best experience. Would highly recommend.

The menu has many vegetarian options listed, however many contain fish or oyster sauce. The menus still have not been changed after 2 years. On the plus side it is how I discovered an allergy to fish. Not great to know I had been consuming fish after 35 years of being a vegetarian

Really nice meal Everything was spot on.

By far the worst dining experience in my life. My chicken was very rubbery, I persevered with it thinking it was overdone. I finished my meal before my wife, she then realised her chicken was raw in the middle (I would guess only about 25% cooked). Ahhh ha, this was why mine felt like rubber, the waitress denied it was under cooked but whisked it away ASAP. No apologies, no explanation, no money off. We paid in full (being typically British) but we will never ever return.... If you enjoy food poisoning, this is the place to eat.

Best Chinese I have been to for long time , I walk past two Chinese takeaways to go to this one.

We visited last night after visiting Stony Stratford for the first time. It is a nice bustling restaurant with a lively atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and very efficient. The food was good, and the portions large (too large for me). On top of that, there was a large choice on the menu. The only thing is that the house white wine wasn't very nice, but other than that, I would return.

I can't tell you how pleased we were, the staff, from the general manager to the cleaning staff, were so friendly and sincere, like a family, I felt like I was at home, as if I was visiting a close relative, there is no need for ultra luxury for a very good holiday, smiling faces, sweet words and clean rooms, thank you 😊

A special and dedicate Chinese restaurant accompanied delicious dishes of marvelous taste. Staff are friendly and the interior yet not large but feeling warm and contented when sitting to savior eye-catching food. Lovely place that you would like to re-visit.

Really good food, with an exceptionally good vegetarian selection.

Really poor takeaway. Won’t be using again. Everything was soggy. Worst chicken balls ever. They fell apart in the bag. Sweet and sour sauce was like gravy. Squid was undercooked, satay chicken was swimming in sauce, and crispy beef wasn’t crispy atall.

We lived in Hong Kong for three years and have travelled widely in China. The food served here is as good as it gets in UK - tasty, fresh, genuine and well-priced

Good service, extensive menu, huge portions- so big in fact after satay starter at least half of our mains were returned to the kitchen- just too big to eat. Food was tasty but due to portion size a tad expensive.

Always prefer to use this restaurant as it's always fresh and flavoursome. Delivery is never too long and even when it is slightly longer the food is always worth waiting for. Fine job you are doing keep it up!

We decided to treat ourselves to a Chinese takeaway last week. The food was delivered well within the time estimate. The food was nicely cooked and still hot. Free prawn crackers were included! Delicious food without the nasty MSG after effects. Well worth the money.

Ordered take away tonight. Delivery he was lost! Gave directions. After 10 mins still no Chinese. Called resturant and said I was concerned about the condition of the food after all this time. They said the delivery man had just called from the resturants to check where he was going. Another 10 mins later, delivery guy calls. I ask if he called originally from resturant he said no. Called resturant who denied lying to me. I tried the food, awful, definitely been driven around for 20 mins. No apology, no offer of fresh food. Terrible service. At aromas in fenny stratford now.

Takeaway delivery guy could not find address. When i called resturant concerned about quality of food after being driven around for 20 minutes they lied and said it had not been driven around. We popped in and happily were given a nice window seat. The service was lovely and attentive. The food was very good. Lovely crispy duck. Great seaweed and two types of delicious dumplings. Overall, really nice and a very pleasant evening out. Only downside is that toilets are up steep stairs.

We visit quite often and also use their excellent delivery service. Fantastic service and amazing food. Four of us went on this occasion with me being the only non-veggie. I’ve never such an extensive veggie menu anywhere and as a confirmed carnivore even I’m wowed by the vegetarian food and often eat it instead of meat. Even highly convincing vegetarian prawns that are almost indistinguishable from the real thing!

I had an enjoyable solo dinner here during a recent visit to Stony Stratford. The food was very pleasant, and the service was good.

Usually visit with work colleagues who are staying overnight in Stony Stratford. we choose the Ruby Banquet meal as it is easy and everyone is happy. Everyone has enjoyed and there is always plenty of food. Good service. Good value.
