The best restaurants serving Default food in Burgess Hill Meeds Mid Sussex South East

Thank you to the ignorant member of staff who cleared our food off the table and threw we had not finished but your staff did not to cate we saved up for this Birthday celebration and it was spoilt completely. Thank you so much

My girlfriend and I visited this restuarant on their Banquet 5 course meal night (Tuesdays). It's advertised at £17.95 per person, so sounds quite reasonable. The "5 courses" consist of a starter, main, side dish, rice or naan (hardly a "course" and a coffee (again not what I would call a "course"). The food was "ok" - pretty average really. The menu on this night that you are given seems to be a very cut down version of their main menu. Choices for sides for example seemed to be extremely limited. The side of bhaji's that I had was fine, the main course of madras was ok but the coffee at the end was awful. However - here's the catch - the cost of drinks. My girlfriend had two very, very watery lime and soda waters and this cost a staggering £10! Ridiculous. I think the Diet Coke I had was nearly £5 too. How on earth they can charge these absolutely extortionate prices for drinks is beyond me. I know, from reading local Facebook groups posts that I am not alone with the drink situation and others have said they will not go here again. I won't be returning either. My message to this restuarant : Don't rip off your customers, your repeat business will dry up as word gets about.

Went last night for friends Christmas catch up. Small and friendly. We all throughly enjoyed our meals, hot, tasty, nicely presented and just the right amount! We had delicious Tarragon Chicken, a vegetarian Burrito, and delicious sticky Spare-Ribs. The Churros for dessert were delicious!

Chicken korma very dry and overcooked the special had more onion than protein and was tastelessness

I have ordered a dinner using uber eats with priority delivery. Was waiting for order which was showing to be delivered within 30 minutes. However, each 10 minutes it was pushed out by restaurant. And finally after almost 2 hours they cancelled my order saying they cannot fulfil it. Which was notified to me by email. Cannot recommend!

Ten of us went today for a celebratory Birthday lunch. We sat in one of the lovely pods outside which we all loved... nicely decorated for Christmas 🎄We all enjoyed our meals, which included sausage&mash, burgers, risotto and festive turkey. Great service from a young team of staff. We will definitely recommend and return in the New Year !

Turned up with 3 adults and 4 kids and they sorted us out with hot chocolate suitable for the kids, sweet snacks and hot delicious coffee for the adults. Nice and clean and very friendly service. Excellent.

The food here I have generally always thought of as a better quality than any other local Thai restaurants which I accepted the higher prices for. Having spent two years living in Thailand eating only Thai cuisine, and being able to speak some of the language also, I was unfortunately disappointed in the lack of 'dining out' experience we had here. Not even a single candle or a flower at the tables, they were literally bare. No authentic decor or staff uniform etc. There was a portable gas fire in the middle of the restaurant for heating which didn't help the overall ambience; it just felt much more geared up to being a takeaway venue with a few tables for good measure than a lovely restaurant experience. The same food in a different environment would have tasted much better I'm sure!

First time ordering. Will definitely be back. Food was delicious hot and lots of it.

Had my first takeaway from here recently with a group of friends. Took a while to arrive- just over an hour - but was worth waiting for. Kept updated on delivery time which was good. Delicious food - everyone was really happy with their food orders. Will definitely use again...

This fish bar has been recently renovated and has a fresh new look. As a person who is fussy about their food - I can honestly say I have always been happy with my food here. The chips are not too dry or soggy, same with the fish and the oil is fresh, hence a good balanced flavour. I know for sure being in any kind of restaurant business, its a hard act to follow - to maintain the quality of product and keep your customers happy. I wish them all the best and hope they can keep up the good work

Great breakfast - available to non residents. Good choice with more than the usual options. Quality food and fast, friendly service from a lovely team of servers. Highly recommended.

Wrong order again.... useless staff. How hard can it be..... won't be going back ever again. They don't even check when handing over the order

This was our 'go to' fish and chip shop but it went downhill so we stopped using it. We gave it another chance as the other shops were closed this evening and I'm pleased to say that the fish and chips were back on form!

Just not very nice food. Food without character. Overcooked chicken & awful dry lamb that felt like it was cooked previously and then added to a tasteless sauce. Uninspiring and won’t use again, especially as portions are small and not good value.
