Costa Coffee in Mid Sussex

Turned up with 3 adults and 4 kids and they sorted us out with hot chocolate suitable for the kids, sweet snacks and hot delicious coffee for the adults. Nice and clean and very friendly service. Excellent.

Great food & coffee & quick service

Standard Costa offering,but service is slow here, only one person serving / doing everything, which inevitably caused a long line up of customers waiting.

Paige and Lucy have great customer service. They've made the film crew feel welcome for the last couple of years and we always look forward to coming back.

Paige and Lucy make this place somewhere we like to come all the time. The entire film crew choose Costa because the girls make it fun and have good conversation while you wait. Recommend this place massively.

Nice costa but it does get busy

Had to wait almost ten mins for an iced latte, which was then lacking the hazelnut syrup I paid for. Two members of staff doesn’t seem to be enough for a quiet morning. The oat cap I ordered last week was bitter and tasted burnt. Will go to cafe Nero in future which is less than 5mins from costa as they offer quicker service and nice coffee.

Cakes not the freshest. Staff Ok.

Went in at 13.50 28th october, i forgot to ask names but everyone was incredibly warm and friendly, all deserve commendation, will definitely come back again

Too slow staff l was the first after 20 mins waiting in the queue l left everything and walked out

Truly terrible! Stale cakes, badly made and cold coffees, scrappy presentation and rude abrupt customer care. Quite possibly the worst cafe in England, maybe the world?

Great coffee and friendly staff

Under very difficult circumstances the staff here are still providing great coffee and the fastest service they can. Very impressed!

I have to say that on my past three visits it has been a bit if a shambles. One way system is inadequate and customers pay no attention to the markings clearly laid out in the floor. The service however was professionally carried out and all staff were adhering to the covid requirements.

Coffee is coffee, just a different price, how much can you afford or want to pay.

Normally pleasant staff, but tonight (Thurs 12/11) had a caustic encounter with a barista .. Greeted with a "you have 30 seconds" at 16:59. The shop is advertised to close at 17:30 .. not content with barking at me the barista started to be off hand with her colleague also for not following protocol with sorting some of the waste ... not acceptable ..

Great coffee as usual fot Costa. Very limited seating due to Covid redtrictions.

Always good for a refreshment top up. Just wish the prices weren't so high..

This coffee shop is no good and it very tiny and best coffee shops is waitrose and it nice and big food is far nicer and costa and there plenty of room get round in a wheelchair

I have been coming here for nearly four years and I have found the staff very respectful and welcoming. They are able to maintain a professional profile during busy hours and the store is well kept and very clean. I don't have a bad word to say, they work well as a team and the manager is always ensuring the best for their customers. Doing a great job, i definitely recommend going in for a delightful Cappuccino.

A pleasant, comfortable coffee venue. Being adjacent to Wilkinson's and Boots, it is ideal as a pit stop.

Can I get a rewind? My previous review was only 2 stars but credit where credit is due so my review deserves an edit! Since the re-fit this place is unrecognizable, friendly staff, perfectly made coffee and they have a good stock of fresh food. The place is very clean and tidy and a pleasure to drink coffee here. Well done to Costa and to the new management the difference between now and then are night and day. Thank you.

Quite a small shop, you actually sit outside in the mall, all be it in a cordoned off area. Friendly staff!

Team here are fantastic and despite always being short staffed, they go out of their way to give good service - often remembering names and orders of their regular customers. Lovely place to meet with friends for a quick drink. Seating area is always clean.

Poor staff quality, very rude, got order wrong 4 times. Limited choice of cakes and food, messy and grubby. Not very well run. Wouldn’t advise.
