The best restaurants serving Default food in Old Hastings Hastings South East

Loved this coffee shop. It was an excellent spot for a cream tea after walking around the cold Hastings for hours. Highly recommended.

Bought some flowers for my friend from the shop this morning, they all look nice. Especially the yellow tulips. But I’m not very good at arranging/choosing flowers for the bouquet, then I asked them for advice, I got nothing but a knowledge from the shop girl “all the flowers are beautiful.”

Lovely little place by the sea. The food was divine, the atmosphere was gorgeous and Jasper, our waiter was lovely too. Best fish and chips my husband and I have ever tasted. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

Whenever I come to Hastings, I always have to visit this lovely shop, brilliant coffee, and I am always amazed at how low their prices are with their amazing cakes! I also thought I’d lost my phone whilst looking to pay, the staff were very helpful with keeping me calm! So thank you. Olives are also to die for!! X

Looks like my review was removed. I was here last night but only men were served even though I was there first. I objected as a staff member reached past my left ear to take money from man behind me. As my review as been removed with no apology from the pub management, I will now forward a complaint to the licensing department. I won't go away until the pub changes its practice. Equality for all customers.

Ordered pizza via the app last Thursday, order was accepted but never arrived. Received a call the following morning saying Id ordered too late and was 'encouraged' to have a replacement pizza, which I didnt want. Asked for a refund, was told I could have one, but its not arrived. Just called and was told I would have to email the restaurant with all the details. Seriously.

Booked on the hoof & lucky for us, a table for four available. There was a birthday celebration going on & this gave it a nice warm atmosphere. We ordered, Coley, Bacon chop & vegetarian Lasagna with sides with local ciders. Freshly cooked yo.order, nicely presented with lovely, helpful staff on table service. Hot, wholesome & freshly prepared with food neatly presented ensemble. A chance booking, reserved & a joy to eat with friendly staff...

Very strong. Only top tier fish and chips in Hastings. Authentic, local catches, fresh and quality cooking.

This pub is very little so you might struggle to get a seat, but MAN is it lovely! The service was great and the selection of beers was even better.

Great place to comeand eat, I was greeted by the friendly staff on arrival and could see the locals being made to feel welcome. It's my second time here and I felt as though I was welcomed in with open arms. Great service nothing I added was to much trouble. Food was tasty and fresh. We will be back.
