Went to Swaad for the first time last night and already looking forward to going back! Whilst all the familiar favourites are on the menu, there's also plenty of different choices that you don't see on your normal Indian restaurant menu. Some great sounding veggie curries and meat and fish dishes. The service was excellent and all the staff were so friendly and a really good laugh! The atmosphere in the restaurant with other customers was spot on. The food was also delicious, perfectly cooked rice and beautiful sauce with the curries we ordered, and plenty of it too! The chilli and garlic naan was a bit crispy but still tasty with a good amount of heat. Might just be my new favourite Indian restaurant in Fleet...

We went for a family lunch for my mother in laws 80th Birthday. The table was beautifully set, The staff were attentive , The food was incredible , it was reasonably priced. ( worked out about 55.00 per head, we all had drinks , 3 courses and the service charge) . This is our 3rd visit as a family, Mum has been more than we have . Will CERTAINLY GO AGAIN !! Thankyou Team !!!

My wife and I had a l table booked but upon arrival we were left standing in the middle of the restaurant (for more than 15 minutes) with no greeting or welcome from staff, nowhere to wait and no explanation or apology. Once (eventually) seated, staff didn’t seem friendly and were actually a little impolite. It seems that the restaurants policy is more about “bums on seats” than a friendly and warm service. Food was really good but atmosphere and service means we’ll be in no hurry to return.

Haven’t been for years. Was always a great food pub and that’s what we wanted on a sunny May evening, sitting in the garden overlooking a corn field. My Steak and Ale pie was just real basic, not at all inviting. My wife’s chilli also looked pretty average. Shame . £37 with a tonic water and lime and soda.

My father has recently moved to Camberley and as a result we’ve been looking for a new Indian Takeaway - A ‘must’ given my Dad is quite the connoisseur. We had previously tried a restaurant/takeaway with ‘Ch!11i’ in the name located on the London Road but, they failed miserably - Such a disappointment given the reviews (baffling!) and central location. Last night we ordered from Ali Shan to try our luck. Whilst a little further out of the way (we collected), we were not disappointed! We ordered Pilau Rice, Onion Baji, Garlic Naan, Peshwari Naan, Chicken Dansak, Chilli Tikka Massala, Chicken Tikka Massala and Saag Aloo. The portion sizes are generous. The Onion Bajis were crisp on the outside but softer and full of flavour on the inside. The saag aloo was well seasoned/spiced and the Dansak and Chilli Massala were full of flavour and spice. My Chicken Tikka Massla wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was still very good and delicious - Worth a repeat visit. Ali Shan are also heads above the rest in the tenderness of the their chicken. We all agreed the chicken was cooked perfectly, it was succulent and juicy. Overall, a sold 8.5/10 here and we’re pleased to have found a new curry house for Dad. See you soon Ali!

We had an absolute lovely bank holiday weekend ruined by our choice to stop in this pub on the way home from seeing family for Easter. We all licked our lips at the sound of a Sunday roast on Easter Sunday. Unfortunately this decision has put us off stopping at any other green king flaming grills ever again. Our Sunday meats was stone cold veg was over cooked Yorkshire puddings was rock solid & the gravy just tasted like pure gravy powder and salty. We wanted to make a complaint and hopefully someone could have gave us a reason to why we was being served such terrible food on a bank holiday weekend. There was no manger around & no duty manager just a man on the bar so we just left a swore never to step food in a flaming grill again & shall be telling everyone we know to do the same.. Us giving the one star is generous

Congratulations is in order here, to be in CAMRA Good Beer Guide is a badge of honour, This is one pub that deserves it as the beers are always Tip Top Condition. As a fairly regular customer here ive seen the growth of Ale drinkers coming into the pub, and always great comments on the condition of the Ale, also always a fantastic selection to be sampled. Bottoms Up Steve and Staff, well deserved Coach And Horses.

Really tasty food, staff were attentive but also left us to enjoy ourselves. The only disappointing one was the first gluten free option (gnocchi) we asked for wasn't available but another option was offered soon. I would say that staff need more training on the difference between vegetarian / vegan / pescatarian. Otherwise all good for the meat eaters!

We visit this pub on a frequent basis. I can tell you now, my husband and I will now never return. Yesterday evening, we popped to our local pub for a drink together and were quite frankly mortified. A man that I believe to be the manager of this embarrassment targeted a young girl amounts a group of five people. We heard the entire discussion in which this man was quite literally screaming at this girl making accusations that the group where drinking cans of drink that they had supposedly not purchased from behind the jump. Why this “man” did not speak to the men in the group and instead shouted and targeted this one particular girl I don’t know. Come to realise after being abusive, condescending and derogatory towards this female that he has infact made false allegations against the group he thought he would apologise by giving the five of six of them a free shot each. They refused this pathetic attempt at a peace offering after the girl he had targeted got upset and had to leave on her own, so they were all subsequently barred. The way this man spoke to this girl absolutely shook me to my core. I felt scared to even look in his direction. This whole establishment either needs shutting down or all new staff. To think this man is in charge of the entire team of reprobates that work there is more than worrisome. Men like this shouldn’t be allowed to drink in pubs let alone manage one. Pick on someone your own size next time. Perhaps someone with the same anatomy as you for a start. Narcissistic coward. Reported to police.
