Went into pow today to have a small lunch was served by Karina the assistant manager who was so helpful and catered to my every need, my food was delivered by the lovely Olivia who is in the Halloween spirit with her spider headband, food was made by the lovely James and was amazing as per usual

Went to Prince of wales fleet Yesterday with my family for Lunch, the service was friendly and what a good atmosphere! Food was delicious and at good prices to :) I will definitely be bringing my family back 😋

Had a meal with my friend and had a lovely beef rib and amazing desserts. All a decent price and excellent service for the time that we were there.

Great visit as per usual was greeted by all 3 girls working this afternoon, i believe it was the manager, Sian and Olivia! They done a smashing job and made sure me and my family were happy ☺️ we tried the classic meals and they were fab!!!

We popped in for early dinner. We sat outside and it all looked very grubby. Huge TV screen not on and covered in cobwebs. My husbands chicken had to be sent back as it wasn't cooked through. No apology and was reserved after microwaving I think. I had Lamb Koftas which were so dry ,no pico de gallo with it as was advertised on menu. Won't be back in a hurry

I went here today to watch the football match and have a father's day meal. Was excellent service from the team but especially enjoyed being served by Sian as she was an overall polite lady who was willing to make conversation and was very cheery

Been here on a few occasions now as my Daughter lives near and we always meet here for a meal. The menu has a great choice and also on occasions specials like the burger menu at the moment. The portions are big enough alone if you choose to do one of the challenge meals, either way we have always had an impressive meal, the food is always hot and fairly quick considering the place is always busy so booking is advisable, the prices are so reasonable too, you cant knock the food, price or service, only very slight gripe is there never seems to be enough bar staff on always seem to queue for drinks and to order food, but again this has never masked the great food and atmosphere just a small bit of feed back. Thank you to all we will be back soon.

We’ve been visiting lots of our local pubs recently, due to a kitchen renovation project at home. The Prince of Wales has been ticking lots of boxes, in our attempts to find our best local pub! Not only is the food/drink good value for money, but you also get a really warm & friendly welcome from the staff too. In particular we have to ‘big up’ Dan, for ensuring that we had everything we needed today! Great value food & drink, with a warm, friendly & professional service. We will definitely be back! Went here for a family meal out was a late minute thing. Went they and got to our table straight away! We was then served by a waiter I think her name was jade. She was lovely very helpful always asked if we needed anything if we did just call for her. Will definitely return.

Being wheelchair bound and getting very worried about where I can and can’t get into was really scary for me, but after visiting my local Prince if Wales I’m very happy that I needn’t have been so worried!The menu is fantastic as are the staff! I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

We are regulars at the POW because not only is the food always consistently good but the whole team are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Dan and Ben recently helped rectify a discrepancy over an offer that hadn’t been correctly applied and Dan really went that extra mile to sort it out for me. Sam and Jodie greet me by name now and have always got a smile on their faces however rushed off their feet they are. The landlord and landlady are also very personable, friendly and professional and run it well. The servers are professional but warm and friendly and remember just how I like my food and my additional items I always ask for!! Highly recommend!!

Took a trip to The Prince of Wales in Fleet, wanting a bite to eat with the family, we decided to have some burgers which were good for price, the staff were friendly - especially who Dan let us know about writing a review for the service. The garden was also a lovely surprise, with grass and nice tables contrasting our visit last year, with the sand! I would recommend and definitely go again!

I went for the Signature double dipped Rib eye steak. I asked for a medium rare steak expecting a nice juicy succulent Rib Eye. The steak was dry and overcooked, past well done no sign of any pinkness or juiciness. The accompanying onion rings were also soft and soggy. Not a brilliant meal! Only redeeming feature was the sharing platter I had with my son for a starter which was quite nice.

The Prince of Wales has recently been refurbished and it is a great improvement inside with really lovely décor, and plenty of parking too.

Went with the family for a celebratory meal following the middle son’s last ever uni exam. There were five of us and the bill was £60 with drinks - amazing value as normally that would be the bill for two. Quick service, really friendly staff who asked how the meal was several times and good choice. It is pub food so not fine dining but with three younger adults this is not an issue. Well done to the new management on improving the dining experience and particularly the serving staff who are really welcoming. Will be coming back.

Amazing staff kept everythink under control this bank hoilday weekend ,our 1st time in there and food was amazing chef done really well for a packed pub .

We visited The Prince of Wales at the weekend whilst we were visiting friends. Service was good, even though it was packed inside. We ordered drinks and deserts - cherry bakewell and sponge pudding - which were delicious.

Food was hot and tasty. The only negatives i’d say were I ordered medium to well steak but it came very well done, not as many chips as you used to get and at times when it was quiet you could be standing at the bar quite a while as the staff member would go out the back.we will visit again.

As always, food is great and reasonably priced, atmosphere is friendly and a great range of drinks.

Came in on the off chance that it would be quiet as wed tried over places and they were al full for a Tuesday lunch. My wife is gluten and dairy free but the gent was able to provide a non gluten menu and the allergy book too, gav he’s recommendations too and the kids menu was very vast for our children. I think the guy said he was stan or sam or something but he was helpful with menus and knowledge about drinks to. Food desserts drinks and service fantastic and its good when then barman ar good with your kids too! Will be back soon got some big birthdays coming up

Popped in expecting it to be really busy and was surprised it wasn’t. On every other visit it has been absolutely packed out. Lovely weather so we sat in the garden which was nicely presented, great to see the grass looking so good after that sand from last year. When we ordered at the bar with Sam he was very accommodating of our needs and although we are very picky, nothing was too much bother for him! Jodie delivered our food and again lovely happy smiley staff! We couldn’t fit in dessert but we will definitely be back to try more things from the vast menu!

On the afternoon of the 2nd April 2019 we held my father's wake here after the funeral director recommended them. From initial enquiries 3 weeks previous, to a visit nearer the time to more fully discuss the menu, to the actual day itself, the service we received was faultless. I would epecially like to thank Sam, Tom the chef and his other colleague on the day (sorry can't remember his name). Nothing was too much trouble for them. The buffet they provided was very varied, yummy, well presented and plentiful. Doggy bags were provided at the end !! All our guests remarked on how lovely it was. My young grandsons particularly enjoyed the chicken goujons and chips which were replenished on request ! To summarise... it made a sad day very happy. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and celebrated my father's 89 years of life. I shall always be grateful to you all. You went above and beyond and I would happily recommend the Prince of Wales to anyone thinking of where to have a wake. Thank you all very much indeed. Kind regards. Carol & Geoff

We've had an amazing meal here. This was our first time here and having checked the menu online beforehand, we knew it was an inexpensive chain pub restaurant so we didn't have high expectations. We couldn't have been more wrong! The food was of a great quality for the price, the place was clean and looked nice. But most of all, the service was absolutely outstanding! All of the staff that we met were really welcoming and friendly and they all went the extra mile. One gentleman, Paulo was the star of the evening. He was amazing with our two daughters, really friendly and funny. He offered to take a photo of us all without asking and had a lovely chat to us. The outside play area is another plus for the kids. Well done to all the staff and we will definitely be back!

We were surprised how good this pub restaurant was! Food prices were very reasonable, the quality was amazing for the price. The place looked clean and fresh enough. The garden was large and well kept (although it was cold so not many people were outside). There is a play area for children, which was well kept and it is always handy when going to a restaurant with kids. The service was outstanding! Everyone (especially a Portuguese gentleman) was friendly and helpful. Our main meals and desserts arrived quick. The only tiny little problem was that there was a group of older children who kept going in and out to the playground leaving the door open and we had to remind them or stand up and close the door ourselves. Maybe one of those overhead door closers could be an idea. But other people closed the door after themselves so not a big problem at all. We would really recommend this place and will be back no doubt!

Came here for some good food at a reasonable price to celebrate mothers day with 2 mums. Loads of choice on the extensive menu, all of which was available and cooked exactly as requested. All the staff were very friendly and made our visit stress free. Will certainly come back again soon.

Dan serving food the bar manager and the chef's today (one called Tom think the other is Chris) all very helpful even when I had ordered one wrong meal.

Me and my wife decided to visit our local flaming grill, and once again, the prince of wales delivered. We took advantage of the 25% off Friday challenges offer. I received 24oz of loveliness! As a complete carnivore, this was some big eats of juicy steak goodness, and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are on point, as usual, being excellent, friendly and very welcoming. I would highly recommend a visit, especially if you have family. Excellent.

We regularly pop in either for a quick drink, drink and snack or a family meal and always have a lovely experience.

If you are wanting cheap food and drink at a very good sports location (must have at least 7 TV's showing sport) this is your place. Try a 'challenge'!

I visited on the 2nd November 2018 with 8 other people, All the food that we received was well cooked and nicely presented, and the staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. I think that this is a very good pub, great prices , great food and excellent staff, i have told people back at work about it and they are always asking about it, they cannot believe the prices and the amount of food that you get, hopefully they might come try it out for themselves very soon.

Went in this evening and being a local to the pow I can highly recommend coming here. The service is outstanding, especially by Amy and Ellie tonight. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I believe it’s been a year since the new managers took over (as I was chatting to Ellie tonight) and what a remarkable difference they have made. Yes it’s a sports pub, but that’s not just all they are, they serve fantastic food, with great deals and live music on a Friday. We love coming here and the refurb has put the love back in to our local.

Came in today for lunch after a stressful morning for some food. Great selection on the menu so I had plenty to choose from. I had the chicken burger and it was cooked perfectly! The server fran was very attentive and helpful. Also 10/10 to the chef, I believe his name was tom. Great place to eat, will definately be coming back!

We have been here a few times and every time was pleased with the food and service. This time we were served by Dan and Fran and as per normal excellent service. My steak was cooked to perfection and being a qualified chef with many years experience I would know. There is plenty of room and the place is very clean.The food and drinks are very well priced . If you get the chance check out there Christmas festive season menu it is very substantial in quantity and quality and very reasonably priced. we will be back.

Came to the prince of wales on my first night working away. Steak night on a monday was amazing, £5 for an 8oz rump steak meal was well worth it, and easily the best tasting rump steak i have had, well done to the chefs Ellie and Chris, top quality food every night, really cant fault the price or the taste of each meal.

Came in on the weekend with the Mother In Law, wife and kids for a meal.

Came in to watch the football the other night and the bar staff were really welcoming and friendly, especially Coner. Ordered wings and wasn't disappointed. Hot and saucy just how I like them.

Phoned in advance and booked for 4 adults. Had to wait at the bar for ages to be served initially, only one poor person serving on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Then sat down and although we were told there would be half an hour wait for food we were kept waiting for just over an hour, could hear 2 other tables chasing up waiting staff asking where their food was too. When food eventually arrived the steak wasn’t cooked as requested, cheesey garlic bread was cold and burger was warm but not hot. Waitress did offer us a free pudding but decided against it as had already heard the table next to us asking where their puddings had got to and we had already waited far too long for mains and just wanted to go. Would definitely not go back again. Clearly not enough staff on and staff weren’t that interested in customers.

Enjoy this place so much now a regular visit, food always good, always made to feel very welcome. Good family friendly & dog friendly pub with great value for money. Refit made well done without taking away what made it worth visiting before now feels brighter & fresher.

The Prince of Wales is a lovely newly refurbished pub, staff were very friendly and helpful food was good value and good quality, prices were very good. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a great night out, without spending loads of money.

Me and a few of my family members went to the the opening night of the Prince of Wales after their refurbishment. I have to say the place looks fantastic! The food was excellent! Thank you Jason, Ellie and Ryan we had a wonderful time and a massive thank you to the rest of the staff they are all wonderful and very helpful. If you haven’t see the new Prince of Wales I highly recommend that you do !

We came to the Prince of Wales last night for a family meal. Our whole experience from start to finish was excellent! We were greeted straight away when we go to the bar, ordered a few drinks and sat down to look at the menu. Very good selection , especially if you are a fan of grilled food!

First visit after the refit. Staff were great as always. Food was cooked to perfection and decor was much improved. Will definitely go back. X

Good points ,plenty parking ,bad points ,dark dingy, unfriendly staff ,uninterested staff and management ,dirty tables ,unorganised kitchen, bad bad food ,orders always wrong ,don't seem to care by all the bad reviews and that's by all the staff and obviously head office ,so I'm afraid to say this once lovely place will soon be a Tesco express or regiment home ,went there with 8 family members for birthday celebration only to be told that there was a 40 minute wait for food ,!!!!! Only 10 people in restaurant !!!!!! At lunchtime ????? So went to another local pub / restaurant, 5 mins away so no need to name it but was greeted with a smile to a newly refurbished establishment ,great food ,great decor and no TV s on every wall crowing out conversation ,farewell to a once lovely pub run by fools

I ordered the 8oz rump stake medium rear, and it was cooked to perfection, the best stake I have had in a very long time, my wife had the all American burger, and she was able to charges the coleslaw for a salad and remove the cheese, the burger was absolutely delicious

Sorry for the delay in carrying out this important task, but just had a whole new left knee, so getting out has not been easy, so after a visit to the Fleet hospital for a bit of physical work out( just a check up) with a lovely lady, my brother in law John and I went for a quick pint and snack, just on 12.00.

My boyfriend took me there. expect nothing but it's really nice place. Would come to visit this place again anytime soon

I visited here with my husband and friend. Their meals were absolutely fine however mine was very disappointing, I ordered lasagne and garlic bread. The lasagne was dry and the pasta sheets curled up, and indication of it being microwaved. The bottom of it was burnt to a crisp, it was black and inedible. Aside from that it lacked any flavour, the garlic bread was disappointing and the side salad served with it was limp and uninteresting.

It was my first visit here, got served quick for the drinks and the food. My food was brought by the person (Fran) she served us with smile, she can back towards the end of our meal to ask if it was nice, which was a nice feeling in a pub.

Had a great time at this restaurant, my 7yr old son did the nachos challenge and even though he only did half, Dan still gave him a certificate and put him up on the hall of fame & James rewarded him with a massive dessert in which he also completed. Brilliant service & brilliant food!!

Meet friends for a couple of drinks , well a bottle or 2!! Actually I had been sent a ‘free Birthday’bottle of wine from joining there club via e.mail and was sent a voucher. We had great service from the bar and had the nachos challenge and some kids meals , everything came out really quickly and correct and with 7 kids between us if no mean feat !!

Had a lovely early tea/dinner with Mummy friends & kids this evening. The Service was friendly & quick, food was good (especially the kids puddings) Dan the barman was fab & went above & beyond. He was great with our kids & even told few jokes!! Great service....Happy Kids, Happy Mums

Popped in on Sunday 12th August with a mate to watch the football, we had a really nice meal at a fair price and great service from Dan, thumbs up for us!

The wait for food was unacceptable. The tea was served without saucers and the milk was in an expression cup not a jug

I came into the pub earlier today for food and drinks and had to comment on how quick the food came out. My steak was cooked perfectly and Ben had made us feel very welcome and comfortable as he served us our food and was very polite. Would definitely recommend the pub to anyone!

I came into the pub the other day with a group of my friends who I had not seen in a while. We were served by Daisie and the service was excellent and she dealt with our requests brilliantly. The food was excellent and customer service with top notch, it really made the visit an enjoyable experience. I would recommend this pub highly to everyone.

Came on Tuesday night for a few drinks and something to eat. Ordered at the bar and was served quickly. Good prices and large choice. I think Amy was our waitress (dark hair) and she was amazing. Really friendly and got the impression nothing was too much trouble. Same waitress came over again during our meal to check if everything was OK. Stayed for a few more drinks and overall we had an excellent evening.

Once again the Prince of Wales has come up trumps as a great place to eat with the family. Can't go wrong for the price, and the staff (especially Dan) are always friendly and welcoming.

Just had a great meal, cooked by Ryan. The mixed grill was very good value and my husband's steak perfect. I had chicken fajitas and it was really tasty. My son's meal was also excellent. It was so good that my husband asked to speak to the chef, Ryan, to congratulate him. Will definitely go back.

The staff here are very good and the food is great value. We recently booked tables in advance and they held the table despite us both running late.

Visited the Prince of Wales for the World Cup Semi Final against Croatia as it was a friends birthday on the same day and we wanted to watch the match in a pub. Booked a table online soon after the quarter final for 8 of us, asking specifically for a view of a TV to watch the match. The next day my other half called the pub directly to check we had a table for 8 and a good view of the screen. She was told over the phone they had our booking and that all reserved tables would be able to see the TV.

Came here with the whole family, served by Dan, Brilliant customer service and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend to everyone

When we ordered food we were advised there would be a thirty-minute wait, an hour later it still hadn't arrived. On checking where it was 'miss communication' was the excuse without even checking. It seemed to roll off the tongue so easily I can only assume it's the stock excuse. When it finally did arrive it was disappointing to say the least. A medium-rare steak that had been rammed to death - beyond well-done and an egg that seemed to have died under a heat lamp.
