The best restaurants serving Default food in Hamble-le-Rice and Butlocks Heath Eastleigh South East

will not be going again as refusing to accept cash from next month, use to but now council refusing saying for our safety so in stead of being robbed of my tenner would be robbed of a card to 100 pound plus-no thanks

Do not go to this Restaurant it was horrendous and the food took ages to come yet still the food was horrendous. Never go to this restaurant . Horrendous

I've been to the King and Queen before and thought it was OK, bit after my last visit I will think twice about going back. I took my parents in to Hamble village for dinner, we decided to look around first to see what took our fancy, I walked up to the door of the king and queen to have a look and before I'd even got to the door a young waiter came out trying to get us in, not very classy, a bit like a cheap Spanish resort mentality, I explained that we were going to have a look around which he obviously wasn't impressed with. Anyway, we returned as it was a quiet Monday night in the village and there was a few people in there. Upon entering the same young waiter held the door open, my parents walked in but he let the door go on me as I walked in, very rude. We sat down and were served drinks, he then came over to take our food order, not a smile in sight, he asked us "do you have any allergies" and I jokingly said "paying the bill" with a smile, he just looked at me and walked away! we were left gobsmacked at the rudeness of this young man, my parents described him as arrogant. When our food arrived he asked "is there any sauces I can get for you" I said "do have any mustard', he looked straight at me and said "I don't think I do" and just stood there, how can a restaurant not have mustard,? how can a kitchen not have mustard? he just couldn't be bothered, to say this guy has a bad attitude is an understatement! The burger was under seasoned and bland, which added to the disappointment of our experience. What a shame the the place that my parents love eating in when visiting me has been ruined by the attitude of a trumped up kid with a bad attitude, neither myself or my parents will return.

We had a lovely meal for mothers day 30th March 25, couldn't fault the food, and the staff Cheryl and abi were very good ,friendly and accommodating well done the victory for making it a happy mothers day for my mum she loved it . FROM THE DIXONS

Popped in for the first time and had a coffee and a slice of Banna loaf, nice friendly service and atmosphere and more importantly very tasty cake 😋

Visited for a drink and tea after coming off a yacht. Handy location for the marina. This bar is really missing a trick - the location is lovely but the actual bar/outside area is just looking a little tired and unloved. We did have fish and chips and it was nice but I really don't like it when they serve your food on paper on a plate. The paper ends up going soggy and breaking into little bits that then stick to your food. Please get rid of the paper - just use plates. Portions not huge, and wasn't cheap. Would visit again as convenient for the marina.

This is the first time I ordered from here. I wasn’t very happy because I phoned at 5.02 and still hadn’t received it by 6.10 they told me it would be 40 mins by the time I received it 90 minutes had gone by but the chicken curry and rice was amazing so I forgive them also ordered a pancake roll which was enormous I just hope next time I Oder it will be a bit quicker

We had some work to do in Hamble today thought we’d pop in for a pint before Home have always known about this pub but never visited. Lovely looking building the beer was great The only downside was the welcome by an older lady who works here!! Think she was having a bad day is all I can guess ! Really puts a downer on the place , the young lady behind the bar was great but I felt she was restricted by the very bad vibes Such a shame a jolly welcome would have lifted the whole atmosphere

Very disappointed with the food. Portions were small and food lacked flavour. Lovely little pub but would not eat here again 🙄

Such friendly staff and the avocado and poached egg on sour dough toast was incredible, such good value. The location is amazing, with a choice of places to sit: inside, upstairs with incredible views, the decking or the beach. You can even have a glass of wine! Love it

Always good chips from here, have tried quite a bit of the menu and have not been disappointed. Tonight the chicken burger was delicious, lovely fresh salad as well. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger which was equally as delicious. Definitely a place I'd recommend for a quick takeaway.
